Under the night skies, some of its structures are revealed to have fallen victim to the decay of time and violence, danger lurking under the city, in its dark waters, catacombs, and sewer passages, along its sinister cobblestone alleyways, amongst its shadowed foliage and park areas, deep within its spine-chilling cemeteries, amongst the halls of Universities, and even within the hallowed halls of great cathedrals. It is a world where its nocturnal populace vie for survival and advancement, forced to publicly temper the beast and intermingle in a civilized fashion, plotting and scheming in the shadows, within one's own city, for fear of disturbing their Prince's sacrosanct decreed peace, and suffering the Dragon's wrath.
