-RULES & SHIT- 1. You can confer with each other, but you must directly PM me your answer to the major decision (the orange one). Other people should not know what you're choosing to do, or it may influence their decision. 2. The answer to the minor decisions (the yellow ones) should be posted in reply to this chapter below. 3. Don't be a boring cunt and just pick every obvious safe option. I mean... you can do that, but I'd actually be more inclined to find a way to kill you that way. 4. Don't be offended by how you're portrayed. I know most of you won't be, but I felt the need to say this anyway. It's all just fun. 5. Joey will not die first because he is black. He will die first because he is gay. 6. Read everyone's arcs and chapters, not just your own! I'll know if you do this, cos I'll sneak shit into other people's chapters that you wouldn't otherwise know about the story. Anyway, let's go like. CHAPTER 5 IT WAS ME AUSTIN! IT WAS ME ALL ALONG! C. Attempt to climb over the cubicles and trick them. + 1 to Brave + 1 to Disciplined BAM! The door to the cubicle next to him was kicked open. This was it, Dyldo needed to act fast. He had but one chance at this, and he needed to make it count. He got to his feet, and quickly and quietly climbed onto the toilet seat, before extending his legs. Then, Dyldo leaped. BAM! That, unfortunately, was not the sound of the cubicle door being kicked open. It was instead the sound of Dyldo colliding stomach first with the cubicle wall. BAM! That was the sound of the door being kicked open. Dyldo could only imagine how helpless he looked, as he teetered like a see saw on top of the cubicle wall. Dyldo suddenly felt a hand grip his ankle tightly, and he felt a force pulling him back into the cubicle. Dyldo roared defiantly, as he threw his weight forward, causing his entire body to topple forward as momentum took him over the cubicle wall, in turn releasing the grip on his ankle. Dyldo felt pain surge through his body, as his spine cracked into the toilet seat of the cubicle he now found himself in. He gritted his teeth, as his body rolled onto the floor, and he heard an unwelcome squelch as he landed, and felt something wet and sticky on his back. Shit, he thought, shit. He looked upwards at the already wide open cubicle door, and suddenly, as though to confirm his doom, a cloaked figure was there, knife in hand. Under the shadow provided by the hood, all Dyldo could see was a toothy grin. As the cloaked figure jumped at Dyldo, knife lifted above their head, Dyldo pushed at the cubicle wall with his feet, and felt himself slide all too easily, thanks to his now slippery back, under the cubicle wall behind him. The knife clinked as it hit the bit of floor where Dyldo once was. Dyldo had no time to waste, this was his chance. He got to his feet, and rushed for the door of the cubicle, but the cloaked figure was just as fast. SWOOSH! The knife came mere inches from Dyldo's throat as the cloaked figure took a swing, and Dyldo, almost impulsively, took a swing of his own. His fist collided with the neck of the cloaked figure, and they grunted as they fell backwards into the cubicle. Dyldo turned and ran for the door of the bathroom, whether he got the advantage with that lucky shot or not, there was absolutely no way he was going to stay here and fight someone with a knife. Dyldo reached the bathroom door, and shoulder barged it open, bringing him out into the empty living room. It was entirely empty, where on earth was everyone? Goldie was out here just a second ago. "GOLDIE!?" he screams, but to answer, "GOLDIE!? WHERE ARE YOU!?" Again, no answer. Dyldo quickly gave up on it, as he heard footsteps getting louder behind him. He bolted forward, not even daring to turn around, until he was at the living room table. The cloaked figure was on his heel, and they took another swing with their knife, but Dyldo rolled backwards over the table, seeing him at a stare down with the cloaked figure who remained on the other side. The cloaked figure wasn't playing games however, and immediately began to climb up onto the table, frightening Dyldo. Dyldo roared again, as he picked up the glass bottle closest to him, and tossed it wildly at the cloaked figure coming towards him. The bottle smashed into bits on the cloaked figure's face, knocking them soaring backwards, where they landed back first on the table. Dyldo took the opportunity, and ran for the door, seeing the cloaked figure already getting to their feet in his peripheral vision. Dyldo felt his feet snag from under him as he rushed over the carpet, causing him to collide brutally with the door. The door crashed straight off of it's hinges, as Dyldo ricocheted off of the wooden floor all the way into the snow. Despite the cuts and bruises on his body, Dyldo couldn't sit around for too long. Without even turning around, Dyldo ran again, not straight forward like he might be expected to, but instead around the side of the house. Dyldo ducked down, taking refuge behind the corner, as he peered at the now doorless doorway. He waited for the cloaked figure to emerge, and hopefully have no idea where he went, before giving up on pursuing him, but the cloaked figure didn't emerge. Dyldo continued to wait, but it proved fruitless. Dyldo, never the less, took a sigh of relief, as he started to move again along the side of the house. And suddenly felt himself bump into someone. Dyldo turned around quickly, and his expression turned to one of shock and terror, as he came face to face with a knife. "NO!" ___________ B. Escape out of the window. + 1 to Disciplined "We go out the window!" barked Chris, as he started scanning the room for something big enough to smash the window with. "Yes!" bellowed Nig, as he turned around, and punched the window as hard as he could. The window shattered, and Nig howled as his hand was cut to pieces by the glass. "Nig what the fuck!" yells Chris in disbelief. "Come on!" yells back Nig, "We've not got time for intelligence!" Chris shakes his head, before running over to the window. Rachel meanwhile fumbles as she puts on her trousers. Nig sees her doing this, and quickly runs over to the cupboard and grabs his jacket. Chris looks irritated at them both. "What're you doing!?" shouts Chris, "We've not got time!" "im not bein freezin!" "Fucking chilly out there pal!" "THERE'S A KILLER AFTER US!" And like that, the door bursts open, and the cloaked figure is at there, knife in hand. The trio in the room all look at the figure suddenly, eyes wide with fear. Nig, being the closest, looks the most terrified. "Shit." mutters Chris. The figure makes a charge at Nig, knife at the ready. The knife comes mere inches away from Nig's throat, before a pink welly bounces off of the figures head, knocking them backwards, where they trip over a laundry basket. Nig sighs with relief, as he turns to see Rachel stood there in the middle of the room, her other welly boot in hand. + 3 to relationship between Nig and Rachel "Let's fucking go!" shouts Chris Nig and Rachel zoom over to the window with Chris, as the cloaked figure starts to fumble around, attempting to get to their feet. Chris looks over at Nig. "Nig you first!" Nig looks confused. "You catch us at the bottom!" Nig nods his head, before jumping up onto the window frame. He takes a deep breath, before he leaps from the second story window. He makes an audible grunt as he hits the ground, but rolls it off. He is quickly at his feet, and lifts his hands up for the others. "I'M GOOD! JUMP DOWN! I GOT YOU!" Chris turns to Rachel. "You next!" As Rachel gets up onto the window frame, and looks out at the two stories below her, she begins to breath heavily. Chris turns to see the cloaked figure is almost to their feet. "HURRY!" Rachel throws herself forward, where she is caught by Nig. The pair tumble down into the snow, as Chris himself gets prepared to jump. "NIG!" Nig is quickly attempting to get back to his feet, but is struggling as he slips about on the snow and ice. Chris hears footsteps behind him. "NIG!" Nig is up! As Chris attempts to jump forward, he feels a hand grip his elbow. Chris' feet dangle out of the window, as he is held in place by the cloaked figure. Chris struggles viciously, as he feels the grip tighten, and suddenly, a knife his pressed against his throat. Chris takes a deep breath, as he feels the metal press against his skin. Almost impulsively, his hand flies to his jacket pocket, and he pulls out his knife. He pushes it behind his head, and hears a squeal, as his face is splashed with blood. The grip releases, and Chris falls, landing onto Nig, where the two fall flat into the snow. "Fuck!" shouts Chris, as he rolls off of Nig, realising the knife is still in his hand. "Holy shit!" yells Nig. "Nig! Are you okay?" "Yeah!" Nig states, as he sits up, seemingly okay, "We won't be if we stay here though! We need to go!" "You're right," responds Chris, as he gets to his feet, "We need to-" And suddenly Chris feels something brush against him from behind. Chris turns violently, swinging his knife and aiming it at whatever is behind him. "NO!" "DYLDO!" On the floor, looking white faced and frightened as he stares up at the knife Chris has pointed at him, is Dyldo. Once the initial panic has subsided, Dyldo slowly begins to realise that the person he is staring up at is not a cloaked figure at all, and is in fact Chris. He looks relieved for a second, before then becoming confused, and slightly scared again. "Chris..." he starts, "What're you doing with a knife?" Dyldo backs up from Chris, and eyes him suspiciously. Chris suddenly realises how this must look, and turns to see Nig and Rachel also looking rather confused, as they eye the knife in Chris' hands. "I found it." he states, "By the cable car station..." "Did you?" replies Dyldo, in a very interrogative way, "Found it did you? You know, it looks awfully similar to the one that I was almost just killed with!" "What?" "You heard! I just got chased out the lodge by a hooded figure, holding that knife right there!" "Well it wasn't this knife was it! Because I'm holding it, and I just got chased out of the lodge too! I had to jump out that fucking window Dyldo! And if you don't believe me, I have two witnesses!" "He's telling the truth Dyldo." speaks up Nig. "Or maybe you're all in on it!" "Oh stop being a fucking idiot!" barks Chris. "That's what you call it! I call it being realistic! Someone's running around with a knife like that! And they're trying to kill people!" "They have killed people!" spits back Chris, looking irritated and disgusted now, "Katie's dead. You think I'd fucking kill Katie do you?" "I don't know your relationship with Katie!" "You think I'd kill fucking anyone!? Dyldo shut the fuck up and start seeing sense! You're right, there's someone after us! Now how abouts rather than us all shouting at one another, we fucking work together to get out of this!" "How do I know I can trust you!?" "if we wurr killers, u wud be ded rn like aha!" speaks up Rachel. Chris turns to look at Rachel, before turning back to Dyldo. What does Chris say? A. "She's got a point." He'll work with anything that helps his argument. B. "Ignore that fucking idiot Dyldo." He doesn't need Rachel to stick up for him. C. "Yeah. If I were a killer, you'd fucking know about it." Intimidation is the best tactic. - 1 to Disciplined D. Say nothing. - "What the fuck is that!?" shouts Nig, as he stands slightly away from the group, looking into the distance. The other three turn to look at Nig, and then in the direction he is looking. Through the fog and blistering wind, they can see a small structure quite close to them, almost too silhouetted. The group look at each other, before Nig starts walking towards it. "Woah!" speaks up Dyldo, "Do we really want to just walk over to it? Is it safe?" "It's literally in the opposite direction of the guy that just tried stabbing us Dyldo." responds Chris brashly. What does Dyldo reply? A. "That's what you want me to think." - 1 to Disciplined B. "Yeah, good point." C. "Oh fuck off Chris." D. Says nothing. Chris just scowls at Dyldo, before turning and following Nig towards the structure. As they get closer and closer, the detail of the structure slowly starts to unveil itself through the fog, until the group realise what it is. "Is this a shed?" asks Dyldo. "More like was this a shed..." adds Chris, "This thing is fucking demolished." "wen do u think this happened?" asks Rachel. "Who knows?" Answers Nig. "Wait..." starts Dyldo, "Do you think this was that explosion?" Chris looks at Dyldo as though what he just said is ridiculous, before he then starts to actually think about it, and starts to act as though he never did so in the first place. Dyldo returns a scowl, as Chris looks back at the destroyed shed. Nig seems to be stepping over it's destroyed remains, having a little bit too much fun as he jumps over the debris. "Nig what're you doing?" asks Chris. Nig ignores Chris, as he continues to jump from one bit of the pile to another. Suddenly, his expression of mild fun turns to one of horror, as he jumps backwards, before slipping and falling into the snow. As Nig The others becoming instantly startled. "What the fuck!" cries Nig, "There's a fucking head in there! THERE'S A FUCKING HEAD!" "WAT!?" screams Rachel, as she backs up away from the shed. "I fucking hate heads!" yells Nig, as he crawls away from the shed, "No! Fucking no!" Chris and Dyldo look at each other, before looking back at the shed. Chris slowly moves forward, as Dyldo remains planted on the spot. Nig starts twitching and shuddering as he continues to move away from the shed and over to a tree, as Chris looks into the wreckage. There, as Nig had said, amidst the display, there was in fact a head. Or, a skull, more accurately, but the creepy thing that had likely thrown Nig off, was the bits of skin and hair still attatched to the skull. Chris grimaced, as he backed up away from the shed. "Fuck, he's right." "Jesus..." adds Dyldo, "Who's head?" What does Chris reply? A. "I don't fucking know Dyldo! If you're so interested you take a look!" B. "No idea. Half of it was burnt off." - 1 to Funny C. "Couldn't tell you. Just be glad it's not ours." D. Shrugs. - "Guys!" shouts Nig from the tree he is stood by, holding up a scarf, "Isn't this Hale's?" "Shit." Chris mutters instinctively upon seeing the scarf, "Hale." _________ B. Attempt to cut himself free with one of the blades. + 1 to Brave + 1 to Disciplined Jake couldn't think of a plan better. What would tipping the chair over do to help him? And shouting for help was far too risky. To the side of him was a wall filled with sharp objects that could easily be used to cut himself free, he'd be an idiot not to try it, surely. Hale began to shift his weight in his chair, creating a rythym as he moved from side to side, until the chair he was tied to began to rock. Hale used the momentum in his swing to lift up the chair legs, one at a time, and move it inch by inch, closer to the wall. Hale smiled, as the progress he was making was getting better and better, and he was starting get into the groove of how to move the chair. Until suddenly, in his excitement, he rocked too hard. The chair swung back, in the opposite direction from the wall, and Hale inhaled a deep and sharp breath, as he threw all of his weight in the other direction. The chair stopped, teetering on one leg, and Hale gritted his teeth as he was suspended in mid air, before the chair moved back in the opposite direction, and the chair was back on all four legs. Before Hale could even sigh with relief however, the momentum caused the chair to keep going, and it sent Hale crashing into the wall with the blades and saws. The top most saw, hanging loosely on a rusty nail, slipped off, and headed straight for Hale's face. Hale squealed, and pushed himself away from the wall with his shoulder, causing the saw to miss him by a whisker. The chair went all the way over on it's hind legs, and then back again, and Hale crashed into the wall with another smack. Hale spat out some blood from where his jaw had hit the wall hard, but there was no time to worry about that now, he needed to get out of here. He lifted his hands up as much as he could, from there position tied to the chair, and started brushing them along the wall, looking for anything he could to cut himself free. "Argh!" He flicked his hand away suddenly, as he pricked his finger on something sharp. He moved his hands back up, carefully this time, and felt his hands clasp around what felt like a small blade. Perfect. Hale gripped it tightly, the blade stinging his fingers, and lifted it up off of the wall, before shifting the blade so it rubbed against the rope tying his hands together. Hale fiddled with the blade, trying to get it in the right position so that he could start making a start on cutting the rope. Until he heard footsteps. Hale almost dropped the blade in surprise, before he was able to catch it between two fingers. As the footsteps got louder, Hale started to shove the blade up one of his sleeves, trying to conceal it. He felt the end of the blade prick his forearm, and he felt blood begin to trickle down his wrist. Suddenly, with a bang, the door in front of him bursts open, and in walks the same cloaked figure who was the reason he was here. Both the cloaked figure and Hale freeze as they look at one another, before the cloaked figure tilts their head slightly, looking slightly confused as they see Hale next to the wall with the saws and blades. "How'd you get there?" the figure asked. "I uhh..." replied Hale, "I woke up like this." "No you did not! You're trying to cut yourself free with one of those saws!" "No." "Yes you are!" "No." "Right!" The cloaked figure charges over to Hale, and grabs the chair, before dragging Hale back into the middle of the room. Hale pretends to look irritated, as the cloaked figure walks back in front of him. "Did you manage to get anything?" the figure asks. "No." Hale lies, as he looks over at the wall, then at the saw on the floor, "I tried getting that saw there, but it slipped out of my hands." "Unlucky then," the cloaked figure laughs, "Cos that was your only chance of escaping. I'm not leaving your sight, and you're not leaving mine." "Who are you?" asks Hale. Under the shadow of the hood, Hale could see a smile emerge on the cloaked figure's face. The cloaked figure reaches both of their hands up to their hood, and dramatically lowers the hood, revealing their face. ____________ C. Attempt to break free of his leg bindings. + 1 to Brave The bear gives an almighty roar, shaking Blackie from where he dangled. Blackie had decided on what he was going to do, he just needed to pick the right time, and it wasn't whilst the bear eyed him aggressively. The rope that tied his legs to the tree branch above him didn't look all that tight, and he figured that with a bit of pressure, he could pull his legs free. The bear turned away from him, and Blackie saw this as his chance. With a great heave, he threw himself upwards, and reaching out his hands, was able to get a grip on the rope above him. The bear twisted back to look at him, as he made a slight noise, and Blackie held his breath as the bear moved slightly closer to him. After a couple of seconds however, the bear seemed to get back to it's business, not seeing Blackie who was hoisted so far in the air. Blackie pryed at the rope, feeling his legs become less and less constrained by the ropes with every tug. Suddenly, and without warning, his legs were free, and Blackie fell. With a painful and unfortunately loud thud, Blackie hit the ground. Another vicious roar caused Blackie to lift his head up quickly from the snow, and the unfornate sight of the bear charging towards him met his eye. Blackie was at his feet, and leaped out of the way as the bear attempted to swipe at him with its huge paws. The bear twisted to face Blackie again, as Blackie began to run towards a tree that had a series of branches that would allow him to climb quickly. He heard the thunderous footsteps of the bear behind him, as he began to clamber up the branches of the tree. As his hand extended to take hold of a rather large branch in front of him, he suddenly felt his feet give way beneath him, as the branch he was stood on was swiped away. With a roar of his own, he grabbed the branch above him, and dangled from it precariously. He felt the bear swiping at his feet, and before he could lift himself up fully, he felt a claw dig into his ankle. Blackie gritted his teeth in pain, as he pulled himself up towards the branch above him, and rested on it. He turned around and looked back down at the bear below, which was itself starting to try and climb up the tree. Blackie realised he couldn't remain on this branch for much longer. He needed to move, or he'd become food for the bear. Did he continue to climb? Did he jump down? What was his next course of action from here? Blackie answered this question for himself as soon as he saw the rope that dangled from a tree ahead of him, that had previously held him up by his legs. If he could jump and get a hold of that, he could maybe swing himself to a different tree, and the bear would hopefully lose him. This was it. He didn't have a better option. With a deep breath, Blackie ran along the branch he was on with all the speed he could muster, and as the branch started to dip under his weight, he leaped. Through the cold air he soared, reaching out his hands to grab the rope dangling ahead of him. With one hand he slipped, but with the other he gripped the rope tightly, and his momentum caused the rope to swing to another nearby tree. With one huge, muscled arm, Blackie reached out to grab the tree's branch ahead of him... SNAP! And he fell. The branch that the rope was tied to completely broke free, and hit the floor with a loud crash, almost as loud as the sickening crunch that Blackie hit the floor with himself. The wind had been knocked out of him as he layed still on the floor in agonising pain, unable to move. He felt as though every bone in his body had broken, and as he coughed, blood spluttered up from his mouth. Blackie could barely move his head to see the bear coming towards him, but just accepted his fate. The bear was upon him, standing over him with an enormous foot on either side of him. Blackie looked up at the bear, face covered in blood, as it lifted up one of it's huge paws, and swung down on him. ___________ Hale takes a gulp, as he looks on at the now revealed face of the cloaked figure. He then takes a disapointed sigh. "I have no fucking clue who you are." The brown haired man before him laughs, irritating Hale. Hale kept trying to think of where he could possibly have seen the face before, but quite honestly, he couldn't even start. He genuinly had never seen this man before in his life. There was no name swimming around in his head to put to this face, as far as he was concerned, he was a randomer. "You don't need to know who I am." the man replies, "All I am to you right now, is the bearer of news." "What's that mean?" asks Hale. "It means I've got some news. Some good news and some bad news." "Can I have the bad news first?" "What? Well- I'd actually prefer- it'd be better if I said the good news first." "No. Get the bad news out the way." "Honestly buddy, it really works much better if-" "Bad news." "Alright..." The man takes a pause. "The bad news is... yet." "I don't get it." "That's why I wanted to say the good news first dude!" "Alright, what's the good news?" "I'm not gonna kill you..." Hale takes a sigh of relief, before quickly the cogs in his mind start to turn, and he frowns upon the realisation. Hale suddenly scowls at the man, before an idea htis him. Hale slips the blade back down his sleeve, into his hand, and starts working at cutting himself free of the ropes that are tying his hands together again. Hale realises he needs to continue distracting him. "What do you want?" he asks gruellingly. "That's not important right now." "It is to fucking me." barks Hale, "Especially if you're going to fucking kill me." "It's not about what I want!" the man snaps back, "It's about what he wants!" "Who's he?" The man pauses, before smiling, "You'll find out soon enough." What does Hale say? A. "No I won't you prick cunt dickhead!" + 1 to Brave - 1 to Discipline B. "That's what you think!" C. "Sorry about this." D. Says nothing. - With his hands now cut free of the binds, Hale jumps forwards, body and legs still tied to the chair, and leaps at the man. The man freezes in shock, and before he can react, Hale sinks the blade deep into his shoulder. The man cries in pain, as he collapses backwards to the floor, and Hale turns quickly to the door leading out of the room. With no time to cut himself free of the chair he is tied to, Hale makes an awkward and slow run towards the door, before starting up the staircase. Upon getting to the top of the stairs though, Hale's expression of hope changes back to one of fear and shock, as stood before him, is the cloaked figure, their hood back up. How did he get here? Hale had just stabbed him in the shoulder... Hale was cracked across the mouth with a club, knocking him toppling backwards, and back down the staircase, where every hit against ever step was twice as painful due to the chair he was tied to. Upon hitting the bottom again, and re-emerging back into the small room, Hale saw that the brown haired man was still in there, sat against one of the walls, looking angrily at the blade that had been stuck into his shoulder. So there were two. As Hale looked back up the staircase, he saw the cloaked figure walking back down. The cloaked figure laughed, before lifting their hands to their hood. "Thanks Nelson," said B00Bz, as he lowered the hood, "But I'll take it from here." PART 2 COMING TOMORROW THEY'RE WATCHING. Edited by Admin, Dec 17 2016, 07:34 PM.

B. Go to the cable car station. - 2 to Brave - 2 to Charitable + 1 to Discplined Herman hoped he was going in the right direction. In all of the running and confusion, he'd somewhat forgotten which direction the cable car station was in, but he was fairly confident that the more downhill he got, the closer he was getting towards it. He felt bad for leaving the others, but hey, this mountain was starting to get too much for him. He wasn't ready to deal with it all. The bloody handprint. NO! Rosa's psychological games. NOPE! Whatever was circling him and Hale in the shed. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The police tape. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! And that is exactly what he was doing. Getting the fuck out of there. Then, through the trees, Herman saw a light. A light. That had to be the cable car station. Surely. Herman started to speed up in the direction of the light, squinting his eyes as he looked at it, in hopes to make out what it could possibly be. The closer he got, the more he started to make out the building in front of him, and before long, he took a sigh of relief as he realised it was indeed the cable car station. This was it, the way off of this dreaded mountain. Herman hoped the others would have the same idea as him, he hoped they'd just display the smallest amount of intelligence and realise the best course of action would be to put themselves out of harms way. To just go home. As if Shawnie hadn't made it clear enough for them on their first cable car ride up here. Herman reached the cable car station, and not ready to drop his caution yet, slowly pushed open the door. With a loud creak, Herman was able to look inside the cable car station, and it looked to be empty. He slowly stepped inside, looking around him, including upwards, before stepping quickly over to the control panel. Ahead of him was the cable car, exactly where they'd last left it. Herman smiled, as he looked down at the control panel, and flipped open the latch that covered the ignition. Then Herman's smile was gone. Completely ripped from his face, as he realised the ignition was without a key. Herman gulped, as he began to scan the room around him. Surely the key was dangling from a hook or something, on one of the walls. As Herman turned around to inspect the wall behind him, he squealed and jumped backwards, hitting his lower back on the control panel. Before him, unexpectedly, stood a girl. She looked to be in her late teens, perhaps early twenties, and had short blonde hair, with brown eyes, and a sort of pig-like nose, however gave off an air of cuteness nonetheless. She looked at Herman rather innocently, who stared back at her in fear. "Hey!" she exclaimed, "I'm Tina!" Herman continued to stare at her, before he slowly began to wind down. "Hey... I'm Herman..." he responds, "Sorry Tina, but who actually are you?" "I'm Tina." "Yes Tina, we have established your name. That doesn't help me as much as I'd like it to though. What're you doing on this mountain?" "Well, I'm actually trying to get off the mountain." "Brilliant, I am too Tina. But that doesn't explain why you're up on this mountain in the first place-" "I just escaped!" she says, with a little bit more desperation in her voice, "I just got free!" "Free? Free from where?" "They had me trapped! They wouldn't let me go anywhere!" "Who? Who are you talking about Tina!?" "The men in cloaks!" "Oh shit." Herman says, suddenly coming to the scary realisation that he was right. There are people after them on this mountain. "They tied me up! They were going to kill me! They had an arsenal of saws and shit that they were going to cut me up with!" How does Herman respond? A. "It's alright now Tina. Alright? You're alright! You're safe! You're with me!" B. "Let's just focus on finding those keys Tina. Let's get out of here." C. "Tina! I do not give a shit! Find the fucking keys and let's go!" D. Says nothing. - Herman begins looking around the cable car station hectically, looking for the keys that will get himself and Tina off of the mountain. Everywhere he looks however, there is no key to be found. "Shit! There has to be keys around here somewhere!" "Maybe the killer has them?" Tina replies, "To stop anyone getting off the mountain?" Herman comes to the unfortunate realisation that Tina is very likely right. "Fuck!" he shouts, "We're fucking stuck here!" ___________ "If that's his scarf, then where the fuck is he?" Dyldo says. "do u think he's ded?" "He's not dead!" Chris and Nig both bark in unison, before looking at one another. "wat if the head is him???" asks Rachel. "Rachel! Stop it with this shit!" barks Chris. "im sorry" Rachel replies, "i didn't mean to say-" "It's alright." replies Nig, "But we can't have that attitude right now." "No, we can't." Chris adds, "Not with Hale." "I don't want him to be dead either." contributes Dyldo, "But how exactly do you propose we do anything about it?" "We find him." replies Nig. "How?" questions Dyldo, "With our amazing tracking skills?" "We don't need amazing tracking skills." adds Chris, "We just need common sense. Look." Chris points to the ground, to some marks in the snow. The rest of the group look at it. "Look at this here," Chris continues, "It looks like someone's been dragged through the snow. And it leads back to the house. That could be Hale. They could've taken him in there." "And what do you suggest Chris?" asks Dyldo, "Pulling off a fucking search and rescue?" "Yes Dyldo. That's exactly what I'm suggesting. This is Hale we're talking about!" "I'm in." says Nig. "Well I'm not!" barks Dyldo, "I still can't say I trust you entirely. Who's to say you aren't just leading us down into the cellar or something, so we can all get butchered." "I'm not the fucking killer you idiot! I thought we established that!" "Dyldo!" adds Nig, "Chris isn't the killer! Now fucking come on man! We need you to be with us on this!" "i dunno if i can do this!" speaks up Rachel. Nig turns to her, "Rachel! Come on! I didn't take you for the talk the talk kind!" "wats that suposed 2 mean???" "You're brave enough when it comes to dealing with shit through the computer screen! You take down paedophiles! And efeds! And child porn distributors!" Nig takes a pause as he reflects on what he just said. "...I put efeds way too high up that list..." "wats ur point???" responds Rachel. "The point is, why don't you prove that you're not just like that when you're hid safe and sound at your computer desk? Stop being a fucking keyboard warrior, and start being a fucking warrior!" Rachel looks at Nig for a few seconds, before nodding her head, seemingly coming round to his way of thinking. Dyldo still looks skeptical, which Chris notices. "If you want Dyldo," Chris starts, "You can wait out here, by yourself." Dyldo looks at Chris for a second, before he eventually says "Alright. I'm in. Let's go save Jake." ___________ As the bear's paw swung down, Blackie closed his eyes, almost instinctively. A few seconds had passed before he found it weird that impact had not yet been made, and that he still seemed able to breath. Slowly, and reluctantly, he began to open his eyes, to see that the bear was still above him. However, it was not alone. It's paw was suspended just above Blackie's face, being blocked from hitting him by another hand that had made its way inbetween them. Blackie followed the hand up to see who it belonged to, and smiled upon seeing his face. Shawnie. The bear retracted its paw, and stood up on its hind legs, towering over Shawnie. It roared down at him, and Shawnie looked up at the bear, without any fear on his face at all. If anything, he looked rather indifferent to the bear that was in front of him. It was then that Shawnie lifted up his arm, and pointed away from himself and Blackie, as though to tell the bear to leave. As though he was a father, grounding his son to his room. The bear stared at Shawnie for a second more, before giving a small whimper, and walking off in the direction Shawnie had told it to go. Shawnie turned towards Blackie, who was still layed on the floor, unable to move due to the pain that was inflicted upon him from the fall. He was incredibly glad to see Shawnie, and especially more glad to not be dead at the hands of that bear. Shawnie looked down at him, and whilst his face at first looked like it was going to display a smile, it quickly turned to a frown. This was still Sad Shawnie, Blackie supposed. "You don't look too comfortable." Shawnie started, causing Blackie to laugh slightly. The laugh however caused him pain. "I can't say I am." he replied, "This is what I get for following you." Shawnie bends down on one knee, to get closer to his friend. "I don't want to hide my intentions from you." "Then why are you?" Shawnie looks at Blackie for a moment, as though pondering over something, before he blinks the expression away. He goes silent for a second more. "Can you move?" Blackie struggles, and with a great amount of pain, he is able to shift himself into a sitting position. "Barely." "Well, try your best. Because I can't say too much myself, nor can I provide much help, but I am going to aid you in finding things out for yourself." "What?" Shawnie points off through the trees behind him, then looks Blackie in the eyes. "Go that way. Don't turn back. The lodge does not concern you now, there are bigger things at hand." "Shawnie, you're really confusing me." Shawnie extends his hand, and Blackie takes it, before being pulled to his feet by Shawnie. He grits his teeth as the pain hits him. Shawnie pats Blackie on the back. "We'll help you through your struggles, but you need to do this yourself. You must find out the truth." What does Blackie ask? A. "Who's we?" B. "What struggles?" C. "The truth?" D. Nothing. - And as Blackie turned around, Shawnie was gone. __________ "B00Bz!?" shouts Jake from where he is on the floor, "It was you! "You fucking-" Hale's head cracks backwards, as Nelson kicks him square in the nose. "That's what you get you little punk!" "Nelson!" barks B00Bz, "Watch it man!" "He stabbed me!" "I know! But we're not allowed to-" "We're not allowed to kill him! That wasn't killing him! That was just a kick!" "Just be careful alright!" B00Bz walks over to the dizzy Hale, and lifts the chair back up so he is upright in the center of the room. Whilst Hale is groggy, he feels his hands being fastened together again. He struggles, but it is no use, by the time he has fully recovered from Nelson's kick, his hands our fastened tight again. Hale looks up at B00Bz. "If you can't kill me, what was killing Rosa about then?" "Well, to be fair with you Hale," starts B00Bz, "Rosa blowing up like that wasn't our intention." "What?" "Well, we were going to kill her. We were preferably going to stab her to death, which would've been much quieter, and far more convinient for our plan..." "But of fucking course!" butts in Nelson, "The stupid chink had to get herself blown up! Fucking startled everyone! Caused so much problems!" "Wait..." Hale replies, "The explosion wasn't you?" "No." answers B00Bz, "Well, sort of, but not intentionally. The plan was, you and Herman go in the shed to get that TV. And we had this gas. This invisible gas that puts people to sleep. It acts faster depending on how high the person's BPM is too, so we figured, what better way to get you to sucumb to it than to lift a giant TV that was glued to the bottom of the shed. You'd both put so much effort into lifting it, and then the gas would get you. Night night Hale, and night night Herman." Hale begins to remember how drowsy he got whilst hidden in the shed, and how much he struggled to breath. Suddenly, he snaps back to the current situation, and becomes confused. "How'd that kill Rosa then?" "Well, we didn't think the gas was as flammable as it was." B00Bz continued, "Rosa lit up a fucking flare, and boom!" "Stupid bitch killed herself." contributes Nelson. "But you were gonna kill her anyway?" asks Hale. "Yeah." "Why her and not me?" "Trust me." B00Bz replies, "For your sake, it's best we don't tell you right now." "Is it a gender thing? Are girls expendable?" "Oh absolutely not. Gassing Herman in that shed was just a way to get rid of him too. He wouldn't have seen this basement like you did." "If he didn't run off we'd have slit his throat." adds Nelson. "Then I don't get it." responds Hale, "B00Bz, I'm not gonna lie. You're a fucking prick. A fucking prick. Herman was right about you!" "I thought Herman was acting a little weird around me." responds B00Bz, "Either way, he'll meet his end soon enough." "You won't find him! Herman's gone!" "We have found him Hale." replies B00Bz with a smile, "He's at the cable car station. We have cameras all over this mountain." "And you know what's funnier, he thinks he's safe at the cable car station." Nelson laughs. "What do you mean?" asks Hale in a worried tone. "I'll let you in on a little secret here Jake." B00Bz replies, "Me and Nelson aren't the only people in on this little plan of ours." "Oh no!" Nelson continues, "My wonderful girlfriend Tina is providing Herman with all the company he needs right as we speak." __________ "Maybe the key's inside that closet there..." "What?" Herman asks, before turning around and spotting a small closet door, "Oh, yeah, maybe." Herman looks at the closet door for a second longer, before turning to look at Tina. Tina looks at him confidently, and smiles. "Maybe you should take a look?" she implores. Herman looks from Tina to the closet door, before raising an eyebrow at her. "Would we not need a key?" "I don't know. Maybe it's open." she adds, "Just check." Herman continues to look at Tina, before turning around to face the closet door. He slowly steps towards it. Maybe Tina was right, maybe the key was in here. I mean, it was the only place they hadn't checked. But then, why would a key be in a closet? What a weird place to put it? But, then, he did want to get off of this mountain. So did Tina. Or, did she? Her story did seem convincing, but then, she could be lying. It could all be made up. He'd never seen her before. What if she was the hunter Shawnie was talking about? What if she was behind all this? Maybe that was a stretch actually, but at the very least, maybe it was best that Herman was a little more cautious than he was being now. Maybe it didn't hurt to just ask Tina to stick next to him, or for her to open the door. If she was confident about doing it, then that atleast ruled out the possibility that the closet was a trap. Yes, that was the best thing to do, just ask Tina to do it. "Umm, Tina," he started as he began to turn around, "Maybe you should actually-" And the words were gone. Whatever Herman was thinking of saying was completely irradicated from his mind, by the knife that found its way into his stomach. Herman looked down at the blade piercing his belly, and the flow of blood that seeped out of the open wound. With wide and terrified eyes, Herman looked up at Tina, who looked back at him with a merciless grin. "I'm sorry about this Herman, but you were taking too long." And with those words, she wrenched the knife out of his stomach, and jammed it into his neck. _________ Ouch! And there goes another one! Poor poor Herman. So wise. So intelligent. So savvy. It's almost like he knew he was in a horror story, all that second thinking he did, all those thoughts and worries clashing around inside his little brain, making every decision. I tell you, I'm not sure there was a choice he made without the upper most fore-thought. If only his bravery was equal to his wits, perhaps he wouldn't have found himself bleeding to death during his escape attempt. But let this be a lesson to you all. Charitability and bravery are far more valuable to survival than you may think, as are allies. You may think running off and saving yourself will be the best course of action, but when you find yourself coming up to another obstacle, an obstacle that requires more than just a single pair of hands to get by, you have only yourself to blame. One thing can be said for Herman however, he will be missed far more than Joey, even by those he attempted to leave behind. Although, despite all I have said, maybe if those he left are slightly more forgiving, Herman may see light for a little longer. Now, it's question time, and if they like, even the deceased may answer this one... What is it that you value most? A. Honesty B. Charitability C. Bravery D. Loyalty - Your answers, again, will be most interesting. Anyway, I'll let you all continue in your adventures. Have fun, and try not to end up like your wee Scottish friend. THEY'RE WATCHING. Chris pushed the door open, knife at the ready, his face looking determined as his eyes scanned over the living room. He walked inside slowly, continuing to look around the room. Nig followed him inside quickly, holding a sambuca bottle like a sword. "Is it clear?" asks Dyldo from the door, holding a large club-like stick. "It's clear." announced Chris, lowering his knife slightly. Dyldo stepped inside, Rachel following him in holding up one of her pink wellington boots defensively. They too looked around the room Chris had just declared as clear, and quite happy with his consensus, they all bunched together in the center of the room. "Right," Chris starts, "Hale's in here somewhere. The question is, where?" "he cud be upstairr??" replies Rachel, "thats wherr the killer waz!" "That was one of my thoughts too," adds Chris, "I was thinking either that, or the basement." "I knew you'd try and take us down to the cellar!" barks Dyldo. "I'm not forcing you down to the cellar! I was actually going to say we could split up! Me and Nig go down to the cellar, and you and Rachel could check upstairs!" "Splitting up!?" responds Dyldo, "When has that ever worked in horror films?" "Does it look like we're in a horror film?" replies Chris, "Hale's life is at risk here, so we need to move quick! Plus, we've all got weapons!" "ive got a welly boot" adds Rachel meekly. "Which has proven so far to be effective!" replies Chris, "You knocked the killer over with that thing!" "i guess" "Look, it'll be fine. We'll still be in pairs! You two go upstairs, we'll go downstairs. One of us has got to find Hale." "Where do we meet afterwards? What's the rendezvous?" asks Nig. "The head shed." "Oh that's not what we're naming it is it?" "Yes. Meet there afterwards, yeah?" "Alright." breaths Dyldo, "Well, let's not waste anymore time. Let's go." Dyldo moves off from Chris and Nig, with Rachel following him, as they leave the room. Chris and Nig meanwhile look at one another, the both of them looking as though they are waiting for the other one to make a move. "I'm waiting on you." adds Nig, "You're leading this." "I don't know where the cellar entrance is!" "Well I don't fucking know either do I!" Chris shakes his head, as he begins to look around the room, looking for anywhere the entrance to the cellar could be. "Holy shit." he hears come from Nig behind him, causing him to turn around. Nig stares at the floor in front of him, face mangled with fear, as he sees the spilled drink that Chris knocked out of his hand earlier. The liquid is fizzing and bubbling, as it starts burning holes into the floor. Nig goes pale in the face, unable to believe his eyes. "I nearly drank that..." utters Nig. "Yeah, you did." replies Chris stone-facedly, "You still pissed at me for stopping you?" "Sorry man." replies Nig, "You know what I'm like when I'm Nogged." How does Chris reply? A. "Save it Nig." B. "Maybe you'll fucking think next time." C. "Don't worry about it. You didn't know." D. Say nothing. - Chris turns and starts looking around the room, continuing in his search for the cellar entrance. The living room does not seem to contain a door that Chris can imagine will lead to the cellar. "Maybe it'll be in the kitchen?" Nig proposes as he leans backwards on the bookcase, "That's where mine is..." Suddenly, the bookcase Nig leans on shifts under his weight, and moves backwards, before disapearing into the wall above it, revealing a secret entrance. Nig falls flat on his face, before looking upwards at the chasm that has been revealed ahead of him. He gasps. "A moving bookcase reveals a secret passageway! What kind of cliche horror house are we in?" "I don't know..." replies Chris, as he walks up and inspects the new unveiled hallway, "But I can bet that's where Hale is." "Should we tell the other two?" "No time." Chris replies, "Let's go." __________ "Why are these steps so fucking creaky!" Dyldo whispers harshly. "i dunno!!" whispers back Rachel. "I wasn't talking to you!" "then who were u talkin 2?" Dyldo looks at Rachel for a second, "I was talking to myself." Rachel raises an eyebrow, and Dyldo goes red faced, as he continues up the stairs. The stairs continue to creak with each step, and Dyldo sighs irritably each time it does so. When he finally gets to the top of the stairs, he freezes. "Oh god..." "wat?" "It's Katie..." Rachel goes silent, as she slowly starts to climb up the stairs, until she is on level with Dyldo. The pair of them both look along the hallway, at the face down Katie. Dyldo hears Rachel gulp behind him, likely upon seeing the knife lodged in her back. "is that the room she came from?" Rachel asks, pointing behind Katie's body at the open door at the end of the hallway. "Looks like it." Dyldo responds, as he stares wide eyed at the door. "maybe we shud like take a look inside?" The idea scared Dyldo, but Rachel was very likely right. The best course of action at this point was to look in that room. "Alright then," Dyldo starts, "Weapons at the ready." Dyldo lifts his club, as Rachel lifts her wellington boot, and the pair of them slowly walk down the hallway. Dyldo grimaces as his foot squelches in the puddle of blood that now oozes from Katie's body, but he quickly and silently steps over her, and manages to avoid getting his feet too messy. Dyldo then stops, before looking down at Katie's body. "Here." he whispers to Rachel, giving her his club. "wat?" whispers back Rachel, confused as Dyldo bends down towards Katie, "wat r u doing?" "Something I really don't want to do..." replies Dyldo, as he grabs the handle of the knife in Katie's back. He looks at Rachel, then closes his eyes and scrunches up his face in disgust, as he yanks the knife out of Katie's back. Rachel squeals quietly, as blood splashes upwards and spatters in Dyldo's face. Dyldo wipes his face with his sleeve, before finally opening his eyes. He holds up the knife to a horrified Rachel. "Now we have a knife." "unfollow." Dyldo shakes his head, and holsters the knife in his belt loop as he turns back around. As he reaches the open doorway at the end of the hallway, he presses his back flat against the wall, prompting Rachel to do the same. He gestures for her to give him the club. "Right, on three, you throw your boot in the doorway." starts Dyldo, "It'll attract the attention of anyone in the room, then I'll smack them over the head with the club." "rite!" Rachel replies, looking detirmined, "on 3!" "On three." Dyldo confirms Rachel throws the boot in the doorway, startling the very jumpy Dyldo. He twists to look at her, confusion and irritation playing on his face. "What're you doing!?" he yells at a whisper. "u sed on 3!" "And did you hear me say three!?" "yes!" Dyldo comes to the unfortunate realisation of just how stupid Rachel is, before suddenly he remembers the plan. He twists around, back towards the doorway, club hoisted above his head. The bright pink wellington boot just sits there, untouched. Dyldo continues to wait another couple of seconds, but nothing emerges. With a sigh of relief, he walks into the room, to find it empty. "is it gud???" asks Rachel, still pressed against the wall. "Yeah it's good." Dyldo bends down and picks up the welly boot, before turning to Rachel. What does he do with it? A. Hand it to her politely, "Here you go Rach." B. Throw it harshly at her face, "Have your fucking welly back!" C. Toss it to her indifferently, "Here." D. Drop it back on the floor. - Dyldo scans the room before him, and sees an unfortunate amount of peculiarities with the it. On one of the walls, above the bed, is a rather large splatter of blood. The floorboards are broken in certain places unnaturally, and the curtains blew harshly in the wind, as the window was completely shattered. "wat do u think hapend ere?" "No idea... all we know is that it ended with Katie getting a knife in her back..." "wat about the other girl?" "Huh?" "the bossy one?" "Beth?" "yeh wasn't she up ere?" "She was." Dyldo muses, "That's strange." "u think shes dead 2?" "If the killer left Katie's body outside, you'd think that Beth's body would be here too." "maybe it is..." utters Rachel, as she points over at the bed. Dyldo turns towards the bed itself, and sees that the covers lay precariously over a human sized lump in the bed. Dyldo gulps, as he slowly etches over to the bed, whilst Rachel moves in the exact opposite direction, trying to get as far away from the possible body as she can. Dyldo reaches out an arm, towards the bed sheet, before ripping it away like a table cloth. Where he expected to see the decaying body of Beth, riddled with stab wounds, he finds but a teddy bear. Dyldo laughs to himself, almost unable to believe it. "is that beth?" "No." replies Dyldo, still chuckling slightly, "It's a teddy bear." Dyldo reaches out and grabs the teddy bear. SNAP! "ARGH!!!" screams Dyldo in agonising pain. "WTF!!!" howls Rachel, jumping backwards. The teddy bear that Dyldo reached out for has since been ripped to shreds. Dyldo goes white in the face, as he stares at his mangled fingers, jammed inside the teeth of a bear trap. "Oh no!" Dyldo cries, "Oh fuck! My fucking fingers!" Dyldo tries to pull his fingers free, but it just causes him unfathomable pain. "ARGH! OW! FUCK! SHIT!" Dyldo realises all too soon, that his fingers are trapped. He turns back to look at Rachel, his face pleading for help. "dyldo r u ok?" "NO! I'M NOT OKAY! MY HAND'S CAUGHT IN A FUCKING BEAR TRAP!" Pain courses through the whole of Dyldo's body as he accidentally tugs on his black, bloody, and swollen fingers again. Dyldo cries out once more, as he looks at the mess that his fingers are. "Oh no! Oh god!" "ur gonna have to chop off ur fingers!" "WHAT!?" Dyldo yells. "ur gonna have to chop off ur fing-" "I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID!" Rachel looks worried and scared, as she stares at the blood that drips between the metal cracks in the bear trap. "u cant pull ur fingers free?" "No!" "then i dont see wut else were gunna do!" "I can't chop off my fingers Rachel!" "then ill do it!" "FUCK!" Dyldo tries once more to wrench free his fingers, but again, nothing but agonising pain. Dyldo lets out another gut wrenching scream. "DYLDO STOP!!! UR MAKIN IT WURSE!!!" Dyldo squirms around in pain some more. "FUCKING STUPID TEDDY BEAR! I SHOULD'VE FUCKING KNOWN!" Rachel has tears in her eyes as she watches Dyldo struggle. Suddenly, she takes the knife out of Dyldo's belt loop, and presses it to his fingers. "dyldo! close ur eyes!" "RACHEL NO!" "just close ur-" "NO!!!" "ill make it quick!" "NO! We can just pry my hands free! We can pry the bear trap open!" "the knife will snap!" "WE ARE NOT CUTTING OFF MY FINGERS!" "WE HAVE 2!!!" Dyldo's wide eyes stare into Rachel's, both of them looking equally terrified by the situation that they've found themselves in. What does Dyldo do? A. Cut off his own fingers. B. Close his eyes, and let Rachel cut them off. C. Try to pry open the bear trap. D. Do nothing. ___________ Chris and Nig both moved slowly down the dingy, dark, and danky staircase. Nig holds his bottle of sambuca as defensively as Chris holds his knife, and the pair look as though they're ready to strike at any second, as they plunge further and further into the darkness. "Do you think B00Bz knows he has a secret passage way in his lodge?" "I dunno." responds Chris, "I'd like to think that Gina is probably behind this, and B00Bz has no idea, but I just can't be sure anymore." "If I'm gonna be honest, I don't remember the last time I saw B00Bz tonight. But, then I can't remember the last time I saw anyone now I think about it. Where did Herman and Blackie go? And Shawnie?" "I don't know." "I don't want to get all negative like Rachel was being Chris..." "Don't say it Nig." "Alright, I'm just being realistic. You say you saw Katie die. And that was a fucking head in that shed Chris. Who knows who that could be..." "Just focus on finding Hale." "What if this is a trap Chris? What if we're supposed to head down here?" "How the fuck would they expect us to find the secret entrance Nig?" "It was a moving bookcase Chris, anyone who's seen a fucking movie knows that bookcases hide secret entrances." "Trap or not Nig, we are not leaving Hale." "I know we're not! I'm following you aren't I? I just think it's best we realise what it is we might be getting ourselves into." "Trust me, I've thought of every possibility." The two fall into silence, until Nig breaks it with a sigh. "Damn, I could do with some more confidence right now." Nig shakes the sambuca bottle, and is quite sad to hear a lack of sambuca swilling around inside. One thing he does hear though, are voices. "Chris!" he whispers, bringing the pair to a halt, "Listen. Voices." Chris stops where is, and begins to concentrate. He too starts to hear the voices. He can't make out what is being said, only hearing unintelligible muttering, but he can make out the sounds of the voices, and he quickly matches one of them. "That's Hale!" And Chris is charging down the staircase, caution thrown out of the window, Nig trying to keep up as he runs after him. Chris comes to a doorway, and boots it open ferociously. There, tied to a chair in the middle of the room, right in front of him, is Hale. "Hale!" "Chris!" Chris looks up from Hale's relieved face, and he can't believe his eyes. B00Bz is stood there, draped in a black cloak, knife in hand. It was B00Bz, it was B00Bz all this time. "You fucking piece of shit B00Bz!" "Chris..." B00Bz replies, in a state of shock, "What're you doing here?" "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FRIEND!" "Chris! Come on meng!" "YOU THINK I'M PLAYIN'?" "Chris! Why would you say that meng?" "I'M NOT PLAYIN'!" "Chris! Come on! You don't mean that meng!" "B00Bz... I'M GONNA RIP YOUR HEAD OFF!" Chris lifts the knife in the air and charges at B00Bz, before suddenly he feels a weight crash into his side, and sent him flying to the ground. Chris looks up, and sees Nelson stood over him, a blade jammed into his shoulder. "Nelson!?" "That's right! B00Bz isn't alone in this!"" "Yeah!" a voice shouts from behind Nelson, causing him to twist around. Nig stands there, sambuca bottle in hand, "Well neither is Chris." Nig swings the sambuca bottle, causing it to shatter across the head of Nelson. Nelson soars across the room, before colliding with B00Bz, and sending the pair down to the ground. Nig tries to capitalise on this, running and leaping through the air, aiming to stab the sharp edge of the broken bottle into B00Bz, but the last thing he expects is a spinning backfist. Nig is sent through a table on the opposite side of the room, knocking him unconcious. "Fuck sake Nig." mutters Chris, as he gets to his feet. B00Bz glares at Chris from the opposite end of the room. Nelson seems to be out for the count as well, thanks to Nig, leaving it to just Chris and B00Bz. B00Bz edges closer to Chris. "Seriously B00Bz, what the fuck are you doing?" "It doesn't concern you! You're nothing more than a sacrifice!" "What!?" B00Bz jumps at Chris, swinging the knife at him, however Chris is able to dodge out of the way. Chris lifts a forearm, and crashes it into B00Bz jaw, knocking him backwards. Chris tries to take advantage, but B00Bz blindy slashes at the air, causing Chris to retreat. "I won't fail my duty!" screams B00Bz, "You'll be dead and bleeding like the rest of them before this night is through!" B00Bz lunges at Chris, before spinning mid air, and aiming a backfist at his face. Chris is able to duck just in time, but still leaves his his knife lifted in the air, causing it to slash across B00Bz hand. B00Bz squeals, clutching the wound on his hand. Chris jumps back up to his feet, and cracks B00Bz across the nose with a hook, sending him backwards, where he hits his head hard on a wall, and slides down into a sitting position. The knife slides from his hand, and before he can stretch to reach it, Chris has his own knife pressed against B00Bz' adams apple. "That's enough B00Bz!" "You don't tell me what's enough Chris!" "I do when I have a knife pressed to your throat!" B00Bz scowls at Chris. "So," Chris continues, "What's this duty of yours then? You're not the mastermind behind the plan?" "Of course not!" "No! You beat me to it! Of course not! Jesus you are fucking pussy whipped aren't you!" B00Bz looks confused. "Don't look at me like that. She can make you do anything can't she! What, did she threaten to break your arm again if you didn't co-operate? No blow jobs for a month? Ah, who the fuck am I kidding, she doesn't give you blow jobs." "What?" "How the fuck did she get Nelson to co-operate though? You're not in some fucked up three way relationship are you?" B00Bz laughs, "Oh I get it! You think Gina's behind all this!" Chris comes to a halt, and it is his turn to be confused, "Wait? Gina isn't behind it?" "No. But she is behind you." "CHRIS!!!" shouts Hale. And suddenly, before Chris can turn around, he is knocked off of his feet by the full impact of a broomstick cracking into his rib. Upon hitting the floor, the knife slips from his grip, and slides away from him along the concrete. Chris looks up, to see Gina stood there, herself draped in a black cloak, a colossal smile of triumph on her face. "A bit fucking late on the call out Hale." "Sorry." Chris looks back at Gina, who continues to smile at him. It is then that Chris notices her collar bone is bleeding, from what looks to be a small knife wound. Chris at first wonders what it could be, before he thinks back to his escape from the window earlier on. He thinks to the figure that grabbed a hold of him, and how he pushed the knife behind him, hearing a squeal, and feeling blood splatter onto his neck. But surely that couldn't have been Gina? She was far too small! And fat! But then, he looked at Gina stood in front of him, and strangely, she didn't seem as small or fat as she usually seemed. It was then that he noticed her shoes, platform boots, extending her height by quite a bit. The cloak itself was quite baggy too, and he imagined it would quite easily conceal someone's weight. "Are you surprised to see me Chris?" "Absolutely fucking not." "Oh..." "I'm surprised to see B00Bz, I didn't think he'd sink that low. And I'm definitely surprised to see Nelson. But you? Granted, it may be more dramatic than expected, but out of everyone here, this is definitely something I'd most picture you doing." "I'll take that as a compliment." "No. Please don't." Chris retorts, as he gets to his feet, "Now, do you wanna get out of my way? Or do I have to-" Gina reaches her hand into her cloak, and pulls out a glock, pointing it at Chris. Chris flinches and backs up slightly, causing Gina to laugh. "Aww! Did I make you jump there little Chrissy?" "You're smaller than me! You can't make little jokes!" "I'm a girl, we're supposed to be smaller." "Yeah but if you're going to be that small, atleast don't weigh as much as a fucking blue whale..." Gina looks unamused. "...with obesity." "HA!" bellows Hale. Gina turns to Hale, looking aggrivated. B00Bz meanwhile lands a punch across Chris' jaw, knocking him down to one knee. "Don't fucking talk to her like that man!" Gina points the gun at Hale. "Another word out of you, you get shot!" "B00Bz already told me you can't kill me yet!" "Shooting you doesn't necessarily mean killing you. Hale goes silent at this, as Gina turns back around. "John, restrain him." B00Bz grabs Chris' arms behind his back, and holds him in place. Chris starts to struggle, but B00Bz delivers another punch to his cheek, causing him to become slightly dazed. Gina gives an evil laugh, as she walks over to Chris. She lifts the gun, and points it at the tip of Chris' nose. She puts her finger on the trigger, then pauses, and gives another smile. "Wow. I can't believe it's finally happening. I'm going to finally rid you from mine and John's life Chris." Chris laughs, irritating Gina. "What're you laughing at?" Gina barks, "This isn't a joke Chris. If you think I'm going to pull this trigger, and a flag saying 'bang' is going to pop out, you're sorely mistaken. A bullet will come out of this gun Chris." "Will it?" Chris jests, causing Gina to become very annoyed. "Yes! It will! A bullet Chris! A bullet! Bullets kill people! And this one... will kill you! It'll make a mess of your stupid little face. Your stupid little laughing face! You call me a bitch Chris, well, I aint just any old bitch. I'm the alpha bitch! And you made a mistake messing with... the alpha bitch!" "Good thing you were never in EWE." Chris mocks, continuing to laugh, Hale starts to laugh too. "Oh! So funny! With your little inside jokes! Well the only inside joke we'll see in a minute... are your insides! Yeah! How about that one! I can make jokes too!" Chris and Hale burst out laughing some more, neither of them seemingly able to stop. B00Bz seems irritated. "Jesus Gina, just shoot him!" cuts in B00Bz. "Shut up John! You're ruining my moment!" "What moment!?" Gina loses her patience at this. "Alright! Speech over!" Gina places the barrel of the gun to Chris' forehead. "Any last words Chris?" Chris looks up at Gina, and gives her a grin that goes from one ear to the other. "I dunno, do you?" Gina looks confused, "Why would I have any last wor-" And just then, two beefy hands fasten around Gina's head, and before she can even register what is going on, her head is twisted brutally to the side. A gruesome snap fills the air, and Gina lets out a gurgle, before she flops forward and splats on the concrete floor. Looking triumphant where Gina was once stood, stands Beth. "Alpha bitch my ass." "NO!" screams B00Bz, as he glares at the dead Gina, then up at her murderer. B00Bz twirls on the spot, and attempts to deliver a spinning back fist into the face of Beth, but she grabs B00Bz's wrist, and pulls him to the floor along with her. "Chris! Help me with these binds!" shouts an all too familiar voice from across the room, and Chris looks up to see Goldie, as she works at untying Hale from the chair. Chris runs over, picking his knife up off the floor as he goes, and using it to cut away at the binds securing Hale's wrists. "Come on!" shouts Goldie, "Let's hurry this up! We need to get out of here!" "I'm working on it," replies Chris, "but it's great to see you're okay Goldie." "You too Chris." "Thanks for the rescue by the way." adds Hale, "Just thought I'd bring it up. Seemed polite." "Don't mention it, especially since the rescue isn't complete yet!" Goldie works hard at trying to loosen the knot at Hale's leg, as Chris frees his arms with ease, thanks to the knife. He notices Goldie is struggling. "Goldie, it's alright, I got this, you go wake up Nig." Goldie nods her head and moves over to Nig, shaking him furiously until he stirs awake. Chris meanwhile starts cutting away at the rope tying Hale's legs to the chair legs. Hale watches the fight ensuing between B00Bz and Beth, and is horrified to see B00Bz duck under a big boot, take a couple of paces back, and then deliver a spear onto Beth. "Chris we need to hurry up!" "I got it!" Chris cuts the last rope at Hale's ankle, freeing him entirely. Hale gets to his feet, a smile on his face, hands on hips, generally looking quite up beat due to finally being able to move. Chris gives a sigh of relief that Hale is free, before suddenly, he sees B00Bz picking up the pistol from Gina's dead hand. As B00Bz lifts up the gun and points it in their direction, Chris does some quick thinking, and dives behind Hale, using him for cover. "OI!" shouts Hale, offended that Chris would use him as such, "I'm not a shield!" "He can't kill you remember!" replies Chris, "He won't risk it! EVERYONE BEHIND HALE!" "What!?" screams Hale, as Goldie drags Nig with her so they are also behind him. B00Bz looks at the display before him, and pauses for a second. "See!" bellows Chris, "He won't-OH FUCK HE'S SHOOTING AT OUR LEGS!" Chris, Hale, Goldie and Nig all squeal, as they dance around to avoid their legs being riddled with bullets. B00Bz is firing low down, attempting to hit Hale on the legs as to wound him but not kill him. The bullets start to bounce off of the floor, ricocheting all around the room, getting awfully close to them. B00Bz is abruptly yanked backwards, halting the fire temporarily, as Beth pulls him back to the floor. She pushes her elbow to B00Bz's throat, and holds him down to the floor with as much strength as she can muster, before she turns to look back at the group. "New plan!" she screams, "Get the fuck out of here! I'll hold him off!" "BETH!" yells Goldie. "GO!" Beth is suddenly hit in the face with a headbutt, allowing B00Bz to throw her off of him. B00Bz sits up, takes aim at the group with his pistol, and begins to fire at them again, getting two shots in, this time much higher, before Beth grabs him and pulls him back down. "You heard her!" adds Nig, "OUT WE GO!" Nig turns on the spot, dragging Goldie with him towards the staircase, as Chris does the same with Hale. The four of them bound up the staircase, with the sound of fighting behind them. They can hear intense roars from Beth, and the aggressive sounds of bones crunching against concrete, and flesh being ripped open. The further and further they get up the staircase however, the more these sounds get quieter and quieter, until they finally disapear when they reach the top. They continue to run as fast as possible out of the secret book shelf opening, and through the living room, before jumping free out of the door, into the snowy outside. They continue running, until they get to the tree line, which sees them out of view from the lodge. Finally thinking themselves safe, they start to relax. It's only here, lit up by the bright white snow, that the group are able to make out just what a mess they all are. Battered and bloodied, with cuts all over them. "Come on!" Chris barks, "To the shed!" "What!?" Hale retorts, "No! I'm not going back there! No! We're going to the cable car station!" "We need to go to the shed Hale!" "That's where they got me in the first place!" "You're with us now! They're not getting you anymore!" "I was with Rosa last time!" "Wait..." starts Nig, "Is she the head?" "What?" asks Hale, "Head? What do you mean head? Look, Herman is at the cable car station, and he needs-" "Goldie?!" Chris interrupts in a concerned manner, as he looks over at his friend, "Are you alright?" Goldie stands there, looking pale and shaken, and her facial expression is nothing short of confused. Her hand is pressed against her stomach harshly, which she seems to be putting more pressure on with every breath. Suddenly, as blood starts to seep between her fingers, she looks up at Chris, her eyes filled with helplessness. Her hand drops to her side, revealing a bullet hole in her belly, before she collapses to the snow. "GOLDIE!!!" ___________ The pain Blackie was feeling right at this moment was excruciating. He'd never felt pain close to it in his entire life. Every bone in his body felt like it had snapped, and he heard them constantly clicking and cracking together with every step he took. His throat felt like it had a rock jammed inside it, and the only part of his face that he could feel, was the gruesome stinging of the cuts that he'd endured from pushing his face into the bush to hide from the bear. The cold now was starting to get unbearable. He was so cold, he actually started to feel as though his skin was burning, and his bones felt brittle, and unable to support him. The aching from how long he had walked at this point didn't help him, but he was just following instructions from Shawnie. To keep walking in this direction, to get the answers he so desperately craved. They were the only thing keeping him going at the moment. They were the only reason he hadn't let himself succumb to his wounds, which would be far too easy to do at this point. He had no idea that following Shawnie would send him on such a gruelling quest, but yet, it had. And here he was, walking through the trees endlessly, just at the hope of finding answers. But answers hadn't come his way. He had no idea how long he'd been walking for, but with his current state, it had felt like years. He'd expected to get somewhere long ago. Every now and again, he'd think he saw something, only for it to be a trick of the light, or a trick of his own mind. Now, whenever he thought he saw something, he didn't get his hopes up. Like right now. The white in front of him seemed to look slightly different from the white he was used to looking at as he waded through the snow, but he was sure it was nothing more than his mind wanting to create hope for him again. He was sure it was the exact same white. Nothing to get excited about. But then, his excitement returned, for he saw something that all but confirmed this wasn't just the white fog in front of him. There was a gate, amidst the different wall of white that he saw. A gate, would this mean that he'd found somewhere knew? Was this the place that Shawnie had meant? The place with answers. Spurred on by his curiosity now, Blackie sped up slightly, in hopes to get a better look at what this was in front of him, and before long, he could make much more of it out. The white that he saw was a wall, an outer perimiter of sorts, for what looked to be a much bigger structure. It was a rather tall white building, that seemed to stretch in width and depth for quite a well. The gate lead on top a path, which in turn, seemed to lead up to a door. Blackie looked at the structure confused, trying to find any clue to what it was, before he saw a sign on the wall. Or, two thirds of a sign. The top of the sign had broken off, and whilst the sign had two words that it read, it looked as though, above them, there was intended to be a third. Either way, Blackie read the two words in their current state. 'DARPER PRIMARY' Unfortunately, these two words did not answer any Blackie's questions. They, in fact, only added more. Blackie stood there, looking at the sign, before turning his attention to look up at the structure, and the door that lead inside. This is what Shawnie meant? Surely it was? But did he risk just walking right in? Maybe there was a safer way of getting in the building? Or maybe he should just not go in the building at all... What does Blackie do? A. Walk up the path and enter the building. B. Try and find an alternate way into the building. C. Turn around and go back. D. Do nothing. ___________ "Goldie! Come on! Please!" Chris sat Goldie up against the tree, where she stared at him, wide eyed. Her expression held nothing short of fear, and Chris' in turn held nothing short of worry. "Chris..." "Goldie! You're alright! Come on now! You're alright!" "Chris... I've been shot..." "Yeah, you have! But you've just been hit in the stomach! I don't think it's fatal!" "...I don't know if I can move my legs..." "Then I'll carry you! Come on Goldie! We're so close! The cable car station isn't far! Let's just get down there, and we'll get back, and we'll get you to the hospital!" Hale and Nig stand back, watching the scene in silent horror. Hale turns to Nig, quite urgently. "Nig, I know everything's all over the place right now, and I know we don't want to throw ourselves right into shit again, but we need to go down to the cable car station! Now! Herman's there and he's in trouble!" "What do you mean? "B00Bz was telling me." Hale continues, "Herman went down to the cable car station. There's another killer down there with him. Nelson's girlfriend!" "Oh fuck sake!" replies Nig, "What're we gonna do?" "Well, we can't just let him die! Can we?" "We're going that way anyway, let's just wait! We can't just leave Chris and Goldie!" "Then get them to come with! We're going that way anyway!" "I don't think they're going anyway, not in the state they're in." Hale stares at Nig, as options run through his brain. What does Hale do? A. Go now to the cable car station. B. Try to convince Nig to go. C. Try to convince everyone to go. D. Wait with the group. - "Goldie! Just take deep breaths!" "Chris... it's no use... I'm dead." "Don't fucking talk like that Goldie!" "Chris! You can't look after me!" "I am not leaving you up here on this fucking mountain to die Goldie!" "I will do nothing but slow you down Chris! I'm dead anyway, taking me with you will achieve nothing!" "No!" "Just let me stay here. Leave me here. And if B00Bz comes out, I'll slow him down. I'll buy you enough time to get back safely." "Goldie! You are coming with us! You don't get a choice in the matter!" "Chris! You're being stupid! Just think for a second!" Chris stops, and just glares at Goldie, as she sits up against the tree, clutching the wound in her stomach. She looks determined to stay, but Chris surely can't leave her? What does Chris do? A. Leave Goldie. B. Pick her up and carry her. C. Sit down and wait with her. D. Take her to the shed. ___________ THEY'RE WATCHING. Edited by Admin, Dec 9 2016, 01:16 AM.
