While the Imperial Intelligence Headquarters were located on Dromund Kaas, Tatiana had seen way too much of Taris in the past while. She had heard about the planet through her older sister who had served with the military for several years. Hell, she hadn't expected that being recruited into Intelligence would see her spend so much time on bloody Taris. Yet, here she was. She had arrived a few months ago and while she would have more classes and training back on Dromund Kaas soon, she still had basic physical and strategical courses to go through before being shipped back home.

The Agent wasn't the kind to be detered from her goal though and she was doing her best to prove her worth. After a day full of sitting down listening to instructors, she needed to unwind. So, she made her way towards the working out area of the base. The young blonde knew that most would be eating at the mess right now, so she would hopefully have some quiet.

She changed for adequate clothing. As expected, there weren't many fellow imperials around.

Finding herself a good spot, she began going through some stretches as warm up.

The gymnasium was always dead at this time and that was precisely why Clerik always took up in the weight room around now. With so many people having access, it was difficult getting in the reps he desired without earning dirty looks from the xenophobic, humanocentric dickheads that were your typical, run-of-the-mill Imperials. He had just finished a round of sixty-five pound curls, replacing the weights, and was on his way to the water fountain when he noticed a woman enter. The nature of his crimson eyes disguised the direction of his gaze and the pause in his stride was momentary, his hand lifting to adjust the towel draped across his bare shoulder. Walking around bare chested, sneakers and a pair of athletic shorts covering his lower body, didn't have anything to do with arrogance; it was a more 'in your face' approach to the haters, showing a fair bit of blue skin to bolster the fact that he didn't give a fuck what they thought of him. He could out-shoot any of these humans any day and he made sure they knew it every time he went to the range. His attitude was going to get him landed on Hoth for another six month stint though, so he kept to himself for the most part. He hated that ice ball almost as much as he hated Csilla.

Clerik leaned over the water fountain, the muscles of his back further delineating with the motion. Then, he moved toward the mats where the woman was stretching. "Know you just got here but can you spot me? Haven't been able to do the bench since I've been here and you're the first person I've seen." Most men wouldn't ask a woman for such things, they caught almost as much flack as the Chiss from some. Clerik wasn't one of those types though and he had every faith she was up to the task. If not, he'd just do the reps another time.

Observing her surrounding even when focused on a given task had been ingrained in Tatiana for the past year or so, so she caught sight of the Chiss when he entered her field of vision. She had vaguely seen one of his kind before when traveling for training. She knew her older sister, Syrenia, had worked with a few during one of her missions on Hoth.

She had issues with Sith Purebloods, because of what they were. She knew that as a member of the Empire, she would have to work with Sith, but the least she had to put up with them, the better. Chiss? She found them not so different from humans really. Sure thing they were blue-skinned with red eyes, but even among humans there were a lot of different kinds. And as a woman, she had already learned the hard way how narrow-minded some people could be. She was by no mean some advocate for minorities or insanity like that, but she certainly didn't look disgusted by the Chiss trotting around bare-chested.

His matter-of-fact question was also appreciated rather than some slurs she had to experience, which had resulted in some brawls and a couple of warnings on her records when she had stood her ground. "No problem." She offered with a curt nod, gesturing for him to lead the way to the bench. "I didn't expect to see someone else make the best of the quiet hour here."
