Duff blinked several times, a bit frightened by what had just happened, mostly because birds reminded him of himself, for their wings. He stood hesitantly, and then began to walk closer, slowly at first, but he quickened his pace as he went. He stopped in front of one or the limp, motionless birds on the ground, and looked down at it. He nudged it gently with his foot to see what would happen, and, as he thought it would, nothing did. He looked at Zoella with his head slightly tilted to one side and with wide eyes. "S-sparkies... You made sparkies," he said, intrigued. |
