She kept on probing her mind, just making sure Tess wasn't running again. She could feel the little girl's fear. She actually felt bad for her a little. "I better not develop a soft spot for her," Natara spoke quietly to herself, "eh, she probably hates me anyway." She walked around the manor to where Tess was hiding. "Told you we'd get you." She picked the girl up and brought her inside the manor to the living room. "Welcome to your new home, just so you know, escape is impossible. I'm not in charge of getting you situated, so you can see Verlan if you like. He's the one wearing an apron usually." She walked off into the kitchen and scrounged for some food.
