"You went out in the sun without protection? Very smart." The canopy was getting thicker, but it wasn't enough to stop the light from coming through. Eventually it would thin out when they got to Cathriss as well. She Stopped when they came to a branch heavy enough for her to sit on. It still creaked when she set her weight on it, but it didn't break as many would when they got so low. She didn't have much fabric to deal with, but it was thick enough to get something good. She tore at the bottom of her dress and a good piece of the bottom came off in the same fashion the a bandage would come off of skin. Eventually it formed itself into a cape shaped thin piece of cloth. "Here' put that around your shoulders, we've as much as an hour left to walk, and it's pointless if you burn by the time we get there."

Her dress was now a bit shorter than she'd like, so it thinned it's self out and became a bit more billowy, aside from that it remained the same fashion. "I do want that back when we get the Cathriss Gate." she informed him. She jumped off the branch as it creaked under her unnatural weight. and started back up in the direction they'd been previously going. "Next time make sure you've a better protection from the sun, it's your skin not mine."

"I'll have to make sure that I get a bunch of long sleeved shirts and long pants or you the next time we go out to take supplies." she told him as she made a mental note.

"Thanks." Adrian replied as he took the cloth and put it over his shoulders, thanks wasn't a word you heard from Adrian often. "Just remind me to give it back to you. Or I'm sure that I'd forget. And plus, I didn't know I was going to be kidnapped today." He had many questions he wanted to asked her, so he did as they started to walk again. "How many kids are at this place?"

"Well we haven't really done a head count, and we just started collecting children recently. It seems the because our activities relatively mirror that of past years there were kids here before, but presumably they've grown. It was empty when My friends and I found it."He had better give her back that cloth, she made another mental not to remind him. At least, she thought, he's being more talkative. "We had to clean it, and such so it took a little bit , you know?" The previous residents hadn't been very good with the Manor's upkeep, and it had had an attitude when they attempted to make it livable.

"That makes sense." Adrian said as he thought, trying to think of the next question he wanted to ask her. "What am I going to do when we get there? Like is there duty I can do?" He really didn't feel right with just going there and being lazy. Even when he lived in the orphanage he sometimes had to watch over the little children, but he obviously wasn't the best person to give that job to.

"Well aside from pretty much lazing about, which you already mentioned you didn't want to do, we have supply raids, you could help kidnap children, and we need people to help keep the house clean, to cook, and such." She said, "We've been lucky so far but if we get any kids who just don't want to be here, we need people to chase after them and bring them back, but that's an eventuallity."

A kid they'd have to chase after would be a pretty strong kid indeed, or just crazy, who knows what the Manor would do to you if you decided you wanted to leave. It was in the rules, you just didn't. Livia shivered at the thought. "Most of the kids opt to pitch in, we pretty much sustain ourselves, so it's harder on you if you don't help out. The Rules stress working together."

"I'm not very good a cooking, or cleaning for that matter. I normally just dirty it up more..." Adrian replied, his orphanage bed would be a mess, and he had always got yelled at for it. "But I guess I could help with the other stuff. If I wear the right clothing." He remembered that he had to give her the cloth back, he just had to keep it in his mind so he didn't forget.

"Then that's what you'll help us out with, I lead the raids, and you can talk to Somerled to kidnap kids, he'll help you out there. Veran chases kids, or at least that what we plan on him doing. We're going to go get lunch from him once we get to the manor," She said looking up at the sky and giving up on the bowl of warm cereal she'd hoped for, and started hoping they'd make by the time Veran decided to cook lunch.

"we've at least half an hour, I might just let you know the basics. Your basically to live in the house until you become 18, you can't leave 'forever' or we'll come track you down, and the house will severely punish you. We feed you, we clothe you, so on and so forth, and all you have to do is follow the rules. Sound simple right?" She sped through it as if she knew it well by heart. which in fact was pretty much the case for her if you cunt all the people she'd kidnap in the future, it'd grow into a routine.

[ooc: Not a problem hun, get better.]
