![]() So here it comes… The Doctor. The Master. Universal enemies that battle across all of time and space, never seeming to ever be able to quite finish off the other. So much has happened since the Doctor thought that the Master had died once and for all. Coming back to Earth, trying out for Prime Minister again, the evil Time Lord’s plans were ruined after his ‘playing the humanity’ game backfired. Lucy hadn’t helped him to fake his own death like he had originally thought: she wanted him dead, and now even reverted her name to ‘Cole’ to escape his deadly legacy. That’s what domestic violence does to you, after the madness leaves. The carnal urges that Lucy had created and left behind enraged the Master, and so he did what any male would do. Now he has a child, a daughter, and human by his side. And what about the Doctor? With the help from the Time Lords in the parallel universe she was left with, Rose managed to return. The universe seems to be slowly righting itself. Even Time Lord President Romana, who had been sent to E-Space by the Time Lord High Council for her own protection managed to finally get back home. Does that mean that more Time Lords have managed to survive out there? Nothing peaceful ever lasts, though, does it? Where everyone thought that the Master was out of the way, there seems to be a more dangerous threat. Torchwood One. Just because Canary Wharf was destroyed, that didn’t mean that the entire first base of Torchwood was lost. Many members actually managed to survive, hiding from the Cybermen and Daleks that came through with their stolen technology. Where Captain Jack Harkness’ team works on a similar level to the Doctor, this older, more powerful version of Torchwood is up and running in the opposite direction. It’s also more terrified of aliens than ever, like a repeat of Queen Victoria’s original sentiment. Since the Doctor appeared in Torchwood, he seemed to bring the darkness to humanity. And now, Torchwood One will eradicate any aliens that it can possibly get its hands on. What about our Torchwood, with Gwen, Ianto, Tosh, Owen and Jack? Torchwood One sees Torchwood Three as a disgrace to the British Empire, labelling them all traitors. Tosh, luckily, managed to use her genius to keep Torchwood Three’s database secret, and so Torchwood One has no more information about them bar that they exist. The public and the police have no distinction. Torchwood is Torchwood, so they’re just confused about the messages that they’re getting from the opposing sides. And the Master? Using his knowledge of this Torchwood One, he’s cultivating more followers than ever. Once he pulls enough power together, then he can create an even greater plan than ever. As far as the Doctor and Torchwood Three go… well, it’s just another day at the office, isn’t it? And everyone can still hear The Sound Of Drums… ...the Sound of Drums ADMIN NOTE: We are in desperate need of the Master, Martha Jones, Donna Noble and members of both Torchwood teams! rules || plot ||canon list || sign-ups || advertising |
