Cerridwen Gwydion Dagda Nicknames Cerri, Wyn, Gwen. Age: 9 Voice: Cerri has a soft, whisper like voice. It's hard to hear and you have to strain to hear it. When you do hear it, it's kind of shocking in how mature the voice sounds. Her guardians feared for her because her voice was so mature, they didn't know how others would react to it. Power(s): Pain. Pain is Cerri's power. She can inflict pain with a singular thought. It's a mind power, not an actual physical power. The pain isn't real, it's all in your mind, but it's very real feeling. Her limitations are due to her age, she can't inflict what she can't think of. So her pain is usually what she's felt before. Except that she can magnify it. Take a paper cut, she can give you that pain but a thousand times worse and on every inch of your body. Horrid, no? Physical Appearance: Her hair is pale like moonlight in a physical form, streaming down past her chin to gently stop just about her shoulders. Her skin is like that of an albino, paler than her hair and soft as cream. She is thinner than most, due to the fact that she doesn't like to eat and finds no interest in it. She can forget to eat and not be bothered by it at all, when she does eat it is very little and causes people to worry over her. She's tall for her age, but her age makes her short anyway, so this height difference doesn't really matter. She weighs in at a whopping seventy-five pounds, so thin for one so young. Her eyes are the color of the sky mixed with water, a perfect and beautiful blue that leaves others envious. Her eyebrows are thin but there, not fake and annoying and pencil drawn thin. She has a very real persona that lets people see that this isn't all a show, it's just who Cerri is. Picture: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x262/rp_da_orphans/Dakota%20Fanning/57E2.jpg Clothing: She prefers to run around barefoot, seeing as there are hardly any shoes around anyways. She likes being barefoot because it helps her stay in contact with nature, and that's something she loves. She likes a lot of clothes, so she's pretty happy with anything. She does, however, know when something is hideous and outright denies she'll wear it. In fact, she'd rather be caught in fashionable rags then something she sees as horrid. Personality: Cerri is quiet, she doesn't really love being around other people because they mock her a lot. Just for being young she's mocked. For being blonde, she's mocked. For being nice to some she's mocked. She hates to be mocked and sometimes forgets who she is and uses her power on the mocker, and then she runs and hides and never wants to see anyone again for a week. She doesn't talk much, and when she does talk you have to strain really hard just to hear her because she's so quiet. Her movements are quiet as well, in a way that is hard to put into words. She's mastered the art of staying hidden, so that she knows how to not attract attention. She doesn't like attention because that leads to digging and digging could lead to many things that she doesn't want. She also doesn't like letting emotions onto her face, so she masks them quickly whenever they do. Likes: Cerri likes to read and write, she likes to dance and to sing. She doesn't do many things that incorporate other people because she isn't very much of a people person. She loves swimming though, and occasionally that lets other people in. She does talk to other people, but it isn't one of her favorite things to do. Dislikes: Perfection. She hates it, she hates it so much that it's a little odd. If something is perfect, she'll find a way to change even a smidgen so that it is no longer perfect. Family: Cerri was adopted. Her parents were English, as in England English. She never knew them, though, and she really wasn't too sad about that. She was adopted by a Scottish couple that were incapable of having children of her own. Her and a boy that is something like a brother were adopted by the couple, and they live quite happily. Sort of. Her real parents…well her mother had her when she was sixteen and her father was twenty-one. No one knows about her real father though. And for all she knows and cares, her real parents could be dead. She's quite History: Cerri was adopted when she was two months old, the potential adopters always go for the little ones. She saw her real mother once, when she was born and put into her mothers arms. Then her mother told them the 'thing' was up for adoption and she didn't want it. The nurses were her parents for the next week until they found an orphanage for her. Then the 'keepers' were her parents. And finally Gladys and Cole came across the poor kid in her crib, they wanted her so badly that it was almost like mind control. Good thing she didn't have that power, 'else she'd feel bad about them being her parents today. Her new 'brother' came when she was two years old, twos were just a kind of changing age for her. Two minutes old and her mother doesn't want her. Two months and she's adopted, two years and she has her first sibling. He was four, though, so he was older even though she was there first. He was a lot more playful, active, and social then Cerri was. It made her adoptive parents wonder if they'd done something wrong in the first two years of Cerri's life that their new son's previous guardians had done differently. They blamed themselves when it was just Cerri's natural personality. She never was a people person and she never would be, it was best to just ignore it. But could they possibly ignore something about their first child? Absolutely not, she was the focus of their attention, though they still had time for Thomas, Cerri's 'brother'. Cerri lived a relatively quiet life. She only had one real friend, one person that she told everything to. Everything but her secret. She found out about them when she was seven. She'd had them for a good long time, but they hadn't been intentional. The people that mocked her, they usually ended up hurting a little badly soon after they did, but that was only because she, like every kid that was mocked, wished that they would hurt for it. And they did. She figured it out eventually, and then she locked herself in her room and cried for a week. She barely ate anything that week. She tried to stop her power, to squash it and keep it away from her life. It was nearly impossible. Even her brother hurt because of her. She was a lot more quiet now, and she cried a lot. She hated herself and her power. But she couldn't do anything about it. She tried to hide her power, and she hoped she was good at it. Thoughts on current predicament: Angry and annoyed, she loved her family and will attempt to escape as soon as the opportunity presents itself. She hates the building and everyone in it, she hates anything that reminds her of her powers. Other: Not really. Watcher: A fifteen year old by the name of Trav. He has the power to manipulate minds.
