I will be hosting a thread at some point today. Nakura is still trying to adjust to living among civilized folk in clear water city. This thread will be dealing with that along with a few additional surprises. Hint: don't go in unarmed.

For those people concerned about certain combat encounters don't worry I plan to keep everything level appropriate for characters. This is a part of a campaign I hope to be running as a larger story arc with in clear water and the surrounding areas, or I hope to work the other areas in. There will be combat encounters, but I'm also hoping to fit in a few social encounters. Your characters life will also most likely be put in harms way during the events of this story arc. Hopefully this will clear up any fears about how this will work.

My main and primary concern is that this is feeling like an Epic and that it should use the Epic system. Especially if it's going to be impactful on a city area. I just want some transparency to make sure this isn't an Epic without being an Epic situation is all.

Feel free to PM me the details if you don't want to reveal things publicly.

Like I said earlier epics sound like they are one and done things. This was planned to go over multiple threads rather then one large one and done. To be honest I'm not sure what is going on for most of the story yet myself, but this is litterally everything I have, notes wise.

Back to civilization

combat encounter: possible
possible enemy(s):

corpse hp 20 attack lash c class. (-4)
skeleton hp 10 attack lash d class (-2)
Armored Corpse hp 25 attack lash c class (-4) [worn leather armor]

possible out comes if combat happens and players unable to handle encounter

clear water guard steps in to help
WOS steps in and banish the enemies.

Investigation (pending name)

Resurection (pending name)

The combat encounter for this particular thread was all ways a possibility, but not a guarantee fact. Its difficult to plan a combat encounter based on a group of random people. Especially when you don't know who is showing up in the first place. Hence why this thread was made, so I could see who was interested and see if combat was plausible option. Not even sure the creatures for the encounter fit the area. Not like I have a monster Manuel for this sort of stuff.

Oh no, Epics are not. They usually are because people don't want to do several epics that are connected. I myself am going to run a series of episodal Epics with connecting storylines. So yeah, these sound like Epics and need to be run as such to make sure everyone is playing the game by the same rules.

This way you can also give out custom rewards AND get rewarded for running these.
