![]() ![]() Open to one character A perfect night for exploring, or potentially trespassing. Kuristoph did not know if this land was owned by anyone in particular, but the man he paid to fly him here on a personal aircraft didn't seem to object. It could just be that the man was simply overpaid since Kuristoph didn't quite have a baring on what was a fair rate for services yet. Still, once he saw this particular skyland on his airship ride to Earthstar he had to come. It had the most beautiful lake that looked so tranquil and peaceful to him. Plus it was abandoned as far as he could tell. It would be the perfect place for him to swim without disturbing anyone. "Thank you Pim for this blessing," Kuristoph muttered to himself whilst floating on his back in the water. The fact that he is not wearing any clothes, as most Nokken would while in the water, is the main reason he sought this place out. The other reason was to find a place he was sure not to find another Nokken. Just better to avoid running into anyone he once knew. Edited by Kuristoph, 29/04/2018 - 10:00 pm.

Kuristoph was genuinely shocked. He did not expect such a quick victory... something told him Angeles would put up a fight for some reason. She seemed like the kind of person that would come to a conclusion with her own logic and stick to it unless presented with logic of equal or greater magnitude. Was that it? Did his suggestion make sense? It had to have been that... or she was betraying her own logic as a courtesy to Kuristoph. He had a feeling it was the latter and it made him feel bad, but also so grateful to her. She was always looking out for him. ...and of course by always he means since they met. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Kuristoph asked, looking her in the eyes while stepping forward to grab the bundle of blankets. He rested his hands on top of them for a moment, giving pause for her to answer. She was oddly quiet and this concerned him. |

Oh no, he asked a question. Ne had to answer. It was alright, all ne had to do was mind nir words and answer honestly, "I was thinking we could share the bed." Accursed honesty. Traitorous mouth. Ne froze a bit and ne winced, then sighed, disappointed in nemself. "I mean that so neither of us would have to suffer the couch, it wasn't pleasant to the touch, and feels a bit weak in regards to supporting a body in sleep. This bed, oddly shaped as it is... it's the better choice." Ne almost hated nemself, but there was still the small hope that he would refuse the notion (and the equally small hope that he would not) and between the contradicting hopes ne felt more uncomfortable than ne had ever felt in nir life. Ne could probably pause and actually think of actual periods of discomfort but at the moment ne was not in that state of mind. Ne glanced at the bed, then the couch, and felt defeated. There was no winning and ne was just going to have to accept that it was uncomfortable and awkward and see where it went from there. |

"Okay, that sounds like a good idea," Kuristoph answered simply and honestly. "I've slept on couches before and they are bad for your spine. You always end up waking up sore and uncomfortable. I had no problem suffering that so you didn't have to, but now neither of us do," he explained his reasoning calmly while moving the blankets folded into his arms back to the bed where they belong. "Do I need to lay down in a specific position so you can be comfortable?" he inquired, curious about the positioning they'd need to be in to accommodate her wings. He was being so very mature about this situation, but only because he had not realized the awkwardness in the air. To him, there was nothing awkward about it. They were simply sharing limited space in the most viable way possible together. He just didn't realize what the implications would be or how it made Angeles feel yet. Kuristoph waited for Angeles' input on the situation, nodded, and began to remove his top. He started at his pants for a moment before pausing about it, and deciding he didn't mind sleeping with them on. The top was a bit too tight for him to sleep in. Then, if Angeles gave any instruction, he would follow suit. If she changed her mind, he would take the couch. Either way, he had no intentions of letting her take the couch over him. |

To nir dismay (and joy) Kuristoph agreed that that was the most logical choice, admitting that he knew couches to be uncomfortable and hard on one's back. Ne sighed in defeat, though ne felt a bit excited as well, and ashamed of that excitement. Everything was so complicated, needlessly complicated, and nir hands fell to nir sides when Kuristoph took the bedding and rearranged it appropriately on the bed. And then he took his shirt off and thing because one-hundred times more complicated. It was just like the previous night at the lagoon, and ne could not understand what was wrong with nem. Ne knew it was a physical attraction thing but ne had not had this problem when they had been naked together in the water, and ne had had training to avoid this exact sort of issue. Maybe ne needed to go back to the academy for a refresher cou--. And then things became even more complicated suddenly as Kuristoph went for his pants. A tremendous amount of relief washed over nem as he seemed to decide to keep his pants on and ne reached for nir brow and pinched nir nose. Ne was a mess. "Nothing special," ne answered, walking towards the bed, "just picking a side, and I'll take the other one," as much as there could be a 'side' on a circular bed anyway, "you lay however you want, I'll lay however I need." And ne was keeping nir clothes on. |

"That sounds easy enough," Kuristoph admitted, expecting things to be far more complicated than that. So without any hesitation, Kuristoph moved to lay down into the bed, on the right (his left) side. He laid on his back and left Angeles as much room as possible in the center and off center. It was rather difficult to do due to the shape of the bed and it begging for those in it to be in the very center of it all. But he managed to provide her as much space as possible regardless. "Are you going to go to bed in all those clothes? I would be so uncomfortable if I did that," Kuristoph commented, looking at Angeles from a laying position, his head angled upwards from pillows. He adjusted himself by propping his upper half up with a single elbow, causing the muscles in his stomach to press against his skin in extreme definition. "Sorry, was that inappropriate?" he questioned, pausing so he could blow hair strands out of his face that had gotten in the way from moving about so much. "I just didn't want you to be uncomfortable," he tried to explained while beginning to second guess his decision to keep the pants off. So strange that pants can be comfortable while walking, but so uncomfortable while laying down... |

Kuristoph said it would be easy, as if it would be, and then got into the strange nest-bed and got into a position that allowed as much space left for there to be as possible. Angeles took to the other 'side' of the bed and stepped in, not doing very well in keeping nir balance given that the bed dipped inward, and then slipped down to nir rear and then to nir side with a heavy sigh. Ne relaxed nir wings, then stretched them out, before drawing them back in and shaking nir head. This was the most ridiculously designed bed ne had ever seen. Nir body kept wanting to roll down to the center rather than stay put, but ne was going to stay put, gravity be damned. Ne had closed nir eyes and hoped to sleep soon, but then Kuristoph asked a question and nir eyes opened and focused on him All of him. Every last bit of glorious manly him. Angeles' stomach felt tight and ne grit nir teeth as ne stared. It didn't help that the discussion was about removing clothing, and ne found nir eyes moving from roving around his body, tracing his muscles, to nir own clothing, and nir mind going wild with the thought of them being naked in bed together. Nir hand tugged at nir shirt. Ne would be lying if ne said that ne was not i a habit of sleeping nude. It was the most comfortable, unrestricted state, and then ne became particularly aware of exactly what ne had to offer underneath nir clothes. Nothing. A body defined only by muscle that was neither female nor male, a flat chest and grotesquely over-sized clitoris. Ne was suddenly very self conscious and ashamed of nir body, for the first time in a long time, feeling like ne was coming up short to someone else's expectations. Not that Kuristoph had expressed any kind of expectations, or even interest, but ne imagined he had some standard of physical attraction and ne was definitely not it. The words 'inappropriate' and 'uncomfortable' brought nem back to the here and now, and ne all but crossed nir leg and looked at Kuristoph with wide yellow eyes. "No bother," ne lied badly, "I'm fine." Ne thinned nir lips and cursed the gods for their sense of humor, certain that someone was laughing at nir expense at all this. |

Kuristoph learned many things since his travels in the human lands and with the language they spoke. He learned that sarcasm existed (and that he was bad at it), he learned about bartering systems that humans had in place, and he learned that most of the time... when a person said they were fine without the utmost sincerity that they were, in fact, not fine. This caused him to be concerned, placing a hand onto Angeles' shoulder so that he could look at her in the eyes clearly... and for balance. "It is okay, you don't have to be uncomfortable for me, I am like you, I find no offense in nudity," he tried to explain, his mind going back to the natural state of most Nokken back home. "My culture finds beauty in the body and all that it offers. The shape of muscles, the unique growths each being has, and the way colors of their skin dance in the light and shadows," he tried to explain as best he could. In truth he was referencing at how each Nokken was quite unique in the patterns, shapes, and design of their body. Some would go further to modify their body to exemplify this type of beauty. But for the most part, Nokken only wore clothing as a fashion accessory, out of water, or in a domed city. When in water clothing was just a hindrance. "I promise, I will only find beauty and grace, no offense on my part. I'm not like humans," he tried to assure after his brief explanation, assuming that she was choosing to lay in uncomfortable clothing for his sake. He has never been so wrong before in his life. |

Kuristoph touched nem, and nir body flushed with heat, worrying that he was going to feel how heated nir skin was. So the natural reaction was out of fear of that exact reaction and ne cursed nir body for its betrayal. The man then started talking about how nudity didn't bother him, and how where he was from nokken delighted in the beauty of the natural body, describing how the light and shadows from the waves would dance on their forms and lighten their colors and Angeles couldn't help but imagine what his body looked like under the waves. Ne bit nir lip and felt even more like holding nir clothes to nemself. Until he stated that no matter what he would only find nem to be full of grace and beauty. Angeles' eyes locked with his for a moment, nir muscles that had been so ready to throw nemself at the window even knowing it wouldn't break, began to relax. With a sort of emotion between relief and defeat ne shifted and lifted up until ne was sitting up. Ne grabbed the hem of nir shirt and lifted it up and over nir head, then over the wrists of nir wings and letting, it drop off of nir wings where ne gathered it from the bed and tossed it aside. The pants came next, not allowing nemself to go only part way after such kind words. So then, ne was naked in front of him, just like ne was when they met, though now ne felt like ne was less existing in his presence and more presenting nemself for his judgement, nothing but muscles and scars on an otherwise undistinguished body. Ne then forced nemself to relax again, though only managed to lay back down on the pillows and let out a heavy breath, closing nir eyes. |

A smile dawned on Kuristoph's face as he achieved success in making her feel more at home in the comforts of their room. There was no need for formality, neither were bothered by nudity and felt more natural like this when sleeping. There was no need for clothing or things that would make the act of sleeping feel any more unnatural. Which, of course, reminded Kursitoph of his pants which he promptly removed due to the life in mood. After all, it was only fair. "Angeles," Kuristoph spoke with pause as if giving her a warning before he broke the silence with too much noise. "You have such wonderful colors, I envy them," he complimented bluntly. He was fascinated by the browns, whites, blacks of her skin and even the yellow of her eyes. "I can't think of any creature of the sea that dawns the colors you do. Black, white, grey, brown, and even the yellow of your eyes. I can't think of any other, I envy how unique you are," he added now that he had a good view of her from behind. All he could see was the grey of her feet, the white of her hair, the brown of her skin, and the black and white of her wings. Her eyes were simply in his mind. But that didn't stop him from marveling at the colors. |

Angeles was thankfully not looking at the point when Kuristoph had removed his pants, ne simply heard him move about and then go still for a moment before he said nir name. Thinking that he had a question or maybe needed one of nir pillows, and so turned enough to look over nir shoulder, and immediately regretted this decision, seeing Kuristoph in all of his glory, now bathed in the golden light of the sun still coming through their window, giving a beutiful contrasting orang glow around the blue of his scales, much like the clothes he had been wearing, but now there was nothing hidden; his muscles, his flesh, his scales. He looked so beautiful, and his expression was so sincere as he began to speak about nir colors, and how he envied them. This was enough to cause nem to focus, turning a little more to look at him with sharp golden eyes. While it was certain that the pure white and lustrous black that ne sported were considered beautiful and masculine, they were considered the most bland of those colors; the far end of the spectrum where one could still be mistaken for female. Nir colors had been just more fuel to the fire of the teasings that had gone on in nir childhood, mocking nem for being neither male or female. But this beautiful man was saying that he envied the colors, the blacks and whites, the grey of nir feet and the brown of nir skin yellow of nir eyes. He thought they were wonderful, while he laid there pale skin, sapphire scales, golden brow and sea-blue eyes. A god of a man, wishing he was as unique as ne was. Ne was silent for a moment, staring at him stunned, nir mind blank while nir emotions run in turmoil. After far too long of silence, ne turned away from him again, resting nir head on the pillow, nir back to him as nir voice said, "thank you," with the heavy weight of sincerity grounding those two words. They meant more to nem than Kuristoph likely would ever know. |
