![]() ![]() Open to one character A perfect night for exploring, or potentially trespassing. Kuristoph did not know if this land was owned by anyone in particular, but the man he paid to fly him here on a personal aircraft didn't seem to object. It could just be that the man was simply overpaid since Kuristoph didn't quite have a baring on what was a fair rate for services yet. Still, once he saw this particular skyland on his airship ride to Earthstar he had to come. It had the most beautiful lake that looked so tranquil and peaceful to him. Plus it was abandoned as far as he could tell. It would be the perfect place for him to swim without disturbing anyone. "Thank you Pim for this blessing," Kuristoph muttered to himself whilst floating on his back in the water. The fact that he is not wearing any clothes, as most Nokken would while in the water, is the main reason he sought this place out. The other reason was to find a place he was sure not to find another Nokken. Just better to avoid running into anyone he once knew. Edited by Kuristoph, 29/04/2018 - 10:00 pm.

As eager as Kursitoph was, he was not wanting to push Angeles into a situation she was not comfortable with. After all, if they were to go down a path of mutual interest rushing further than this would have a higher potential of disaster for them. Especially if a trait popped up about one of them that the other found morally disgusting that killed any attraction one had for the other as an individual. Instead, Kuristoph lead Angeles into a laying position with him on his back and her either beside or laying half on top of him. Simply laying together and feeling each others heart beats was a fine point to land after breaking from their second kiss. "I..." he attempted to find words to say, but was at a loss for words while staring deep into her eyes. He truly didn't know how to express himself right now. In truth, he wanted to ask her something. But wasn't sure where to even start. There was just the moment. |

His body guided nem forward, more onto him as he leaned back, laying himself back down onto the pillows and blanket of the nest. Nir hand that was on his back, left and found purchase on those pillows, bracing nemself as ne followed him down, all the way until their kiss broke. Nir lips parted as ne drew breath, and nir eyes opened, looking down on him from this position. Nir emotions were too complicated to figure out at this point, all ne knew was that among the turmoil there was joy, a sort of joy that ne had never known before, nor never knew that ne had wanted. When his lips parted to speak, only saying one word, ne lifted a finger to his lips, silently quieting him as ne looked into the deep blue of his eyes. Ne then shifted nir weight, no focused on nir hip and a single hand, and slid down to lay on his chest, resting nir head where it found a comfortable spot under his chin, nir wings curling around the two of them like a blanket. "If you get uncomfortable and need me to move, just tell me," ne whispered, closing nir eyes, one hand resting on his shoulder, lightly gripping it. |

"No, I've never been more comfortable," Kursitoph said with a smile, quite happy with his current position. He focused so much on the feeling of another being touching him, their heartbeat... and the comfort of being enveloped in their wings. It felt so secure, so safe... it reminded him of being inside a cavern or cave. He couldn't help but smile more because of the realization on how it made him feel. "I'm worried about you though," Kuristoph spoke in a concerned voice while turning to see if she was alright. "Do you have reservations still? If so, I won't be offended. You don't need to hold yourself back or do something you don't want to do," he tried to explain as best he could. In essence he didn't want her to do something for him that she didn't want to do while at the same time keep herself from doing something she wanted to do because of him. He was being rather selfless in this situation... which made sense due to his nature and being foreign to her customs. |

Kuristoph said he was comfortable, and ne could hear the rumble of his voice in his chest. When he said that he was worried about nem, though, ne looked up, where he shifted to look down at nem. "Not... not reservations," ne admitted cautiously, though honestly, "just uncertainties, things that only the future may put to rest one day. And questions, but those are more for my father." Ne looked to Kuristoph again, "maybe... just a bit of fear," ne admitted lastly, and quietly, "though I don't know what of. Like peering out and the darkness knowing any sort of monster or demon may be there, even if there isn't one...." Ne frowned, looked to Kuristoph's eyes again, and couldn't help but smile a little, "but I'm alright." |

"Alright, I just wanted to make sure," he confessed while moving his head to the back of her head. He lightly ran his hand down the back of her hair and neck a few times before resting his still for the moment. "I could almost drift back asleep..." he said through a smile due to how content and comfortable he was now. He felt like he was flying. ...which wasn't wrong. They were, just on an airship. "Can we lay like this for a while?" he asked, wanting to enjoy her company like this for as long as he could. Granted he knew that they had things to do and time to pass. Not to mention a band to see at dinner. aaaaaand two more days of being in a room alone together. |

Angeles saw that Kuristoph was content with nir answer and ne laid nir head back on his chest, letting nir thoughts wander so that ne could process them and neatly categorize them to be dealt with later. ne was distracted from this ritual when ne felt a hand on nir head, that then began to stroke nir feathers. Ne wasn't certain about how ne felt about this, having never been... petted before. Ne heard Kuristoph mention sleep, and then ask if they could just lay like that for a while, nem resting on him, his hand in nir hair, the two of them encapsulated by nir wings. "We can lay like this for however long you like," ne answered. Ne was also not opposed to drifting back to sleep either. Closing nir eyes and simply listening to Kuristoph's occasional breaths and his heartbeat. Ne knew they would have to get up to eat dinner eventually, but that was not for another few hours. So ne simply nestled a little closer to the beautiful man, and allowed nemself to rest. |

Sleep was a dangerous thing. It didn't seem to last as long as you wanted when you needed it... and when you didn't need it to it seemed to go on for hours past what was required. Kuristoph woke after three and a half hours, thankfully right within the threshold of where they needed in order to make dinner on time. It's not like the restaurant was going to abruptly close down on them if they didn't make it on time. Is... she awake? Kuristoph thought, looking down at Angeles to try and assess. He couldn't tell. It was darker now and her face wasn't angled so that he could see her eyes were open or not. Her breathing seemed normal, not that he'd know what normal breathing for her would be. How do Valkyrie breath compared to being awake or asleep? He thought to himself, curious if there was a difference at all. Still, they did need to wake, get dressed, and head out eventually. ...or they could just lay there a bit longer like this. |

Angeles did indeed remain asleep for a bit after Kuristoph had awoken, but not very, even the subtle movements he mad to check if ne was awake, were enough to rouse nem from nir sleep. It was punctuated by a deep breath, then ne shifted, stretching out nir wings as nir hair dragged over his skin. Ne was carefully to put nir hands around the body beneath nem so as not to suddenly put all of nir weight on a sensitive organ like the kidney, or some such. Ne then sat up, fully freeing Kursitoph, and rubbed nir face with a sigh. Ne felt a bit more rested this time around, nir dreams not nearly as wild. Though ne was half-trying to convince nirself that what had occurred a few moments ago had been a dream. Ne hummed a bit with discomfort, nir fingertips touching nir temples where a headache had begun to develop. Ne rubbed them in small circular motions before opening nir eyes to look at Kuristoph. And smile a bit sheepishly. ne wasn't sure what to say that wouldn't make things awkward or seem dismissive, so ne stood instead, offering nir hand to him to help him up to his feet. |

Kuristoph sat still as Angeles made her way up. He couldn't help but watch in awe. She was so graceful, as if she could glide through the air at any moment and needed to restrain her grace so that she didn't make everyone else feel inferior. In truth, he just really like her wings and was being rather poetic about it. Still, it caused him to stare and smile at her only to be met with a hand offering him assistance in getting up. "I suppose it is time," he sighed before taking her hand to be lifted from his laying position. He had forgotten how strong she was. "Did you rest well?" he inquired with a concerned expression, moving closer to her so that he could see her face in better light. He was tempted to kiss her once more, but decided not since he was still not used to being the one who made a move without the invitation to do so. Something he would require time to get over. |

"It is that time," ne agreed with a sigh, "it's not too terrible, we were told there would be a show, and we've already determined the food is good." Ne was giving reassurances as he stood, as if trying to convince him it was alright to get up and exist outside of the room. "I did rest well," ne answered honestly, stepping from the bed and finding nir clothes on the ground, "thank you for giving me the chance to rest, though now I suspect we'll be up all night while everyone else sleeps." It would be like when ne had gone from Eskeel and Owa into Menawe, oh well, such was the life of a mercenary. Ne dressed quickly, not for haste but for the simple fact that the clothes were easy to put on. Ne stretched nir wings again, the feathers fluffing out before ne fluttered them back into place. A golden eye glanced at the window and then back to Kuristoph, giving a well-rested sigh, "I bet the observation room is beautiful right now with the stars out and the rings visible." |
