![]() ![]() Being a mother was difficult, Dekename would never argue this. But she had also never been prepared for it, and many of her tribe were happy to leave her to figure it out for herself, as her child was human, bald, ugly and weak. He would bring them tragedy, and it was Dekename's fault for keeping him around. She knew she forfeited her life to one of difficulty, vying to raise the boy instead of killing him or leaving him for the desert to claim. They were cursed, different, and afforded the same misfortune, what gave them the idea it would be alright to do to another, just for his differences? Dekename huffed and slipped into the water of the Oasis, sinking down to her nose and folding her ears back. The water felt nice, and E-re-fefe was asleep, so it was also nice to get some time alone. She was not so far that she would not hear his cry if he called her, but far enough away that others of her Tribe would take a minute or so to bother her about menial things. Under the glow of the rings in the veil and the moonlight, she would finally have a moment to relax. |

It was not always know to Irdsaotanao- what their next destination would be. He is hanging around in his hammock as he could not sleep. Something was eating on his mind as he is wondering around looking at the ceiling. He was one of the view who had a private room thanks to his native way of life, his room was his little piece of Ka-Tao. Without a warning does of his fellow crewmembers burst in to his room, “Irdsaotanao- we are going to Ka-Tao, you can go home” says he loud bringing the good news. It toke a few second till Irdsaotanao- smiled “that’s great” says he excited. “I thought so my friend, you can finally go home” says the crewmember as he left Irdsaotanao- alone again. Once the door closed does Irdsaotanao- smile disappear and he becomes a bit depressed. Going home, going home to what. Would they still accept him, would they want a brother that had lived amongst a other kind for so long? He had to admit that he lost some of his Nao-kira trades with being so long amongst the humans. It left his head in chaos. Yes he want to go home but what would they think of him. He knew how cursed ones are treated and he expects that he would be treated the same. As the ship landed does he take his goodbye from the crew and know to slip unseen out of the trading lands wondering what to do. He tribe would not be on the spot that he remembered. Well first would he need to find a spot to hid his clothing, just in case. As he travel over his home land does he still life in doubt, was this the right choice that he had made? So far had he evade any contact with the other Nao-kira is he was unsure, he does also still wear that strange scents on him that would be unknown to most of the Nao-kira. As he walked for guite sometime does he come across a oasis, maybe a good spot to take some rest and over think his plans. So far have his plans not put him back between his fellow nao-kira’s. as he came closer to the oasis does he notice a silhouette that is barely above water. He looks curiously at it and carefully greets it “hallo there” says he careful not knowing how the stranger would react. |

Dekename was enjoying her soak in the water, rumbling happily with her eyes closed. This place was considered sacred to Nao-kira, but outside of the solstices and the equinox it was abandoned. If she was caught here, though, she would no doubt be slaughtered, not only for being cursed, but for desecrating the area with her presence. She was confident no one would be here, the tribe would not have moved so close if other Nao-kira had been in the area. "Hello there." Dekename's eyes snapped open and her ears folded flat against her head. Dilated pupils allowed light to come in to identify, to her horror, a Nao-kira, male, uncursed. E-re-fefe! Not there, still asleep in his tent, safely away from this place. It was only her own life she needed to worry about, that and to not allow this male to discover her tribe. Her eyes danced around his strange clothing before darting to where her spear was on the bank of the lagoon. It was close enough she could get to it quickly, but the water would significantly slow her down, there was a chance the male would reach it, or her, sooner. She risked it. Glancing back at the uncursed she stood suddenly and rushed out of the water with a great amount of splashing, lunging for her spear and standing ready, the tip pointed at him as she froze. Golden eyes wide, ears still flat, her drenched fur dripped onto the dry packed earth, where it could be clearly seen as lacking spots, marking her as cursed. She said nothing, rooted to the spot where she was, still as a statue, dripping wet, ignoring the urge to shake the water off. She forced her breath to calm, her heart to stop racing. Her eyes glanced up and down the stranger, he was unarmed, the clothes he wore were strange, much like the clothes she had found E-re-fefe in. Human clothes? She slowly turned to glance at the stranger out the corner of her eye. He spoke perfect Nao-kiran. She didn't know what to think of him, and she slowly took one step back away from him. |

As Irdsaotanao- greets the stranger does a scents of fear and tension rise in to the air. The female was frightened by his presence a reaction Irdsaotanao- did not expect to happen. It was not only Dekename who would be surprised. “a cursed one here” says he frightened and takes a step back. he watched her as she sprints towards her spear. He didn’t set a paw to intercept her or to tray and get her weapon before she could get it. “I thought that all the cursed ones where removed from Ka-tao” says he surprised as he toke a better look at her body as she aimed a spear at him. His ears folded flat as he was on the wrong end of the spear. He lifts his hand at bit to show that he had no intentions to hurt or to react if she might attack him. “no please stop, I’m not here to hurt you” says he surprised a fearful. He had met several cursed nao-kira as he traveled around the world. He started to doubt about the reason why they where cursed and evens no longer saw them as cursed, but more as a subspecies of their kind. He sits down on to his knees and takes his shirt quickly off exposing himself. No right minded uncursed nao-kira would do that as it would put them in danger. Beside that was he also afraid and not filled with anger and hate towards a cursed Nao-kira. “please calm down I’m not here to kill you” says he in the hope to calm her down. “I’m Irdsaotanao- and I might be more cursed then you are” admits he looking to his own past and present. |

The Nao-kira expressed shock at her presence, surprise, stating that he was sure there were no cursed Nao-kira in Ka-tao. Dekename's ears flattened and her fur bristled at the insult, giving a low warning sound to the stranger as she took a step back. He seemed frightened of her spear, which was good, but then he held his hands up, and said he didn't want to hurt her. Her sound of warning stopped immediately and she stared at him as he knelt and disrobed out of his human clothes, introducing himself as Irdsaotanao-, and stating that he was also cursed. Her eyes looked at the man, roving over his body. Golden pelt, black spots, golden eyes. He was perfect, and she felt insulted again, openly mocked. Her tail twitched in annoyance, wanting to take off running, in the opposite direction of her tribe, to lead him away from them, hopefully to rejoin them at a later date if she could find them. Her thoughts dwelled on E-re-fefe for a moment. "What...," she began, in a cautious and harsh tone, "do you want, kedo-," she spat the last word out, calling him 'blessed' like it was an insult, since he had openly mocked her. She remained still, but her spear was still pointed, still ready in case it turned out to be a trick and he attack her once her guard was down. |

It was a real surprise to see a cursed Nao-kira. So far he knew are cursed Nao-kira brought to the trading lands to be sold or they were abandoned too take care of them self, but on the age that they were abandoned did it mostly mean that they would not evens survive a week. As he spoke did he make a pore choice of words. Irdsaotanao- looks slightly away “I know that I’m born perfect, that I was wanted and that I did not bring any shame upon my family, but that is not why I’m calling myself cursed” tells he. “I don’t how you managed to survive, and I would probably not want to know it” says he as he looks back at her. She must have gone through a hell to stay alive. Staying out of sight scavenging whatever she can to stay alive hoping to not be found until he stood in front of her. He takes the bands off his arms and tosses one at her feet “here, if it might make you feel saver, use this to bind my arms on my back” tells he and turns around holding his arms crossed on his back. He is giving up his freedom to gain her trust “and please don’t kill me” says she as he swallows. He had exposed himself to someone who might not react with reason at this moment. He knew that 3 things could happen now, she kills him, she runs away or she would accept and bind his arms together. |

The man acknowledged that he was perfect, but said that was not why he was cursed. It slightly perked her interest but she was still too scared to show it. He wondered how it was that she survived, but then stated he did not want to know, taking his arm bands and throwing them at her feet. He bid her to bind him for her to feel safer, and asked that she not kill him, as he turned his back to her. Her golden eyes looked down at the bands, then back up at his back. Holding her spear ready, she crouched slowly, ready in case he turned and attacked her. Then with band in hand, she approached him, spear still held aloft, until she was lose enough that she pounced on him, grabbing him and swiftly and tightly binding his wrists, hoping to be fast enough to keep him from reacting. Whether she was successful in restraining him or not, she grabbed her spear and leapt back away, putting distance between her and him, still scared, still ready. "What do you want stranger?" she demanded again. |

Isdraotanao- was at the mercy of a armed and scared crusted Nao-kira it take some time but then could he hear her step closer till she stopped at some distance. He wondered if she would be to afraid to approach him but suddenly from out of nowhere is he suddenly face planted in to the dirt. Keep it easy back there” calls he out with a mouth full of dirt. He had at least not a spear protruding out of his chest. So fast as she came and bound him does she leave him again. With some effort does Irdsaotanao- know to get him straight up again and turns around to sit in a position from where he could not stand up very fast. “By Tontaka, could you drop your spear, it’s not that I’m able to attack you now” calls he out for his own sake. “I just want to go home, but now that I’m home it doesn’t feel like home any more” explains he to her dements. “I don’t know how long it was but I haven’t been on Ka-tao for quit sometime” does he add to his answer, probably increasing the mystery around him. |

The Nao-kira had called out to Tantaka, then demanded she get rid of her spear. Both things did little to calm Dekename. The stranger then answered her, finally, stating that all he wanted was to go home, but now that he was home he felt unwelcome. Home? Dekename looked around, but saw no signs of a tribe, and he was certainly not from hers. He had admitted he hadn't even been in Ka-tao for some time, which Dekename had guessed from his clothes. Her ears folded down, Dekename slowly lifted her spear so that the tip was no longer pointed at him, easing out of her crouched, battle-ready stance. "So you equate the feeling of being unwelcome to being cursed?" she turned her head, glaring at him slightly, "where's your tribe? Any tribe of your kind? They would take you in I'm sure." |

As he saw that the spear is no longer aimed at his does he feel a load of relieve overwhelm his body and lets a sight of relieve go. He looks at her as she asks question that he could not really answer. “I can’t image how it feels to be cursed, stabbed in the back by your family and abandoned by your own kind.” Tells he as he felt remorse to his actions in the past. “I don’t evens call it a curse any more. Is it your fault that the god did allowed you to be born imperfect. why would the gods curse you, what would they gain out of it” tells he questioning the curse on the end. He truly meant every word he spoke to her. “you know that there so no room for someone who is imperfect. I might look perfect but my mind isn’t perfect. I became to human and lost some of the Nao-kira ways. I became kind to this who are cursed, and doing so do I insult the gods. If I still was the old me that would I have killed you on sight” tells he trying to explain some of the gaps. He looks over to the water “I would probably have drowned you” admits he and looks to the ground in front of him. “I have been marketed as feeling sympathy to the cursed ones, I can lie my way in to a other tribe but I will no longer accept the brutality to those cubs who have done nothing wrong” tells he that he made a willing choice to no long support the agony that the cubs are put in to, just because they don’t look perfect. |
