1. Finariel Fairchilde
2. Half moon elf, half drow
3. Finariel is almost exclusively a Forgotten Realms character, but he can easily function normal D&D settings, as well as Dragonlance and possibly Eberron.
4. Mage
5. 37
6. Male
7. Easy-going and cheerful
8. Finariel's father is a moon elf paladin, and his mother is a drow priestess of the spider goddess Lolth. Finariel was raised in a forested hamlet, where his narcolepsy was generally accepted. He decided he was going to become a thief when he was in his teenage years, but the thieves guild refused to accept him, considering him to be a bit of a soft idiot. However, Finariel has discovered that he's quite the adept magic-user, and works as a traveling mage, offering his services to whomever he feels can use them. He's previously had an adventure with a copper dragonling, Chaka, and has found himself (on more than one occasion,) the "manslave" of the drow alchemist, To'ryll. Ain't love grand? Currently he's adventuring with his childhood friend, Zeth.
9. Pouch of holding, levitating staff, assorted spell components.
10. Fin prefers to introduce himself under his nickname of "Faust" when in places that have a large assortment of humans. He also has an animal familiar, a jaguar cub (who STILL doesn't have a name) with a bit of a scaredy-cat streak. And the only good thing about his narcolepsy is when he lapses into a sleep induced by it, all his health is restored.

1. Zeth Mordan
2. Tiefling
3. Again, Zeth is almost exclusively a Forgotten Realms character, but is capable of functioning in other settings.
4. Paladin
5. 35
6. Male
7. The Tall, Dark, and Quiet type
8. Zeth grew up in the same forested hamlet as Finariel, and the two were close as children. However, Zeth and his father disappeared before he turned 10, and he was missing for several years. He's only recently resurfaced as a full-fledged paladin, though it's anyone's guess which god he worships. Zeth is currently traveling with Finariel, and seems to consider himself the narcoleptic elf's appointed protector.
9. Armor, two-handed longsword
10. Zeth considers talking to be irritating, so he normally will avoid conversation. He's also capable of using magic inherent to tieflings. He's generally quiet, and enjoys taking naps, to the point where waking him from his sleep can cause him to become rather violent.

1. Tatiana
2. Rakshasa
3. I created Tatiana for general D&D, so she functions in pretty much every setting you can think of.
4. Warrior
5. 21
6. Female
7. Bold, brash, blunt. Honor and truth are extremely important to her.
8. Tatiana grew up in a very strict rakshasa society, where females have little to no rights or respect. Her father is of the merchant caste, and when one of his pieces he was selling was stolen by a changeling, Tatiana hunted the changeling down to retrieve it. Never having had any intention of carrying on the family business, Tatiana wants to become a renowned hero of legend. However, in rakshasa society, you are born into a caste and your caste never changes. Tatiana hates the narrow-mindedness of her people, and thus is determined to work her way into the songs of the heroes, so she travels outside of her homeland and seeks to perform heroic deeds in lands of beings that otherwise fear or hate her for what she is.
9. Blood-red leather armor, blood red glaive, various assorted jewelry, her traveler's pack.
10. Tatiana believes that no one should be ashamed of who or what they are, and to that end, she boldly strides around in her true form no matter where she is, refusing to resort to changing her appearance as most rakshasa do. She doesn't always get along with others at first, but she has a good heart, even if she is gruff around the edges.

1.Kythyk
2. Illithid (mind flayer)
3. Like many of my characters, I created Kythyk with the Forgotten Realms setting in mind, but he’s easily capable of functioning anywhere.
4. Psion
5. 23
6. Male
7. Quiet, shy and withdrawn, yet gentlemanly.
8. Kythyk was born different from most other mind flayers in a way that potentially would have had him killed had his peers discovered his secret: he cannot hear the Central Brain of his community. Mind flayers are all linked to a Central Brain, and indirectly, each other. But once Kythyk reached adulthood, he realized just how different he was, and just how deadly that could be to him. For a few years he managed to hide this difference, until fate took him on a patrol with a number of other illithids. The patrol was slaughtered by three powerful beings, save for Kythyk, who immediately pleaded with these entities to let him live. Upon hearing his story and finding it true, they allowed him to accompany them for a time, accepting him as part of their misfit family. Later on, Kythyk had a chance meeting with Tatiana the rakshasa, and the two have been best friends and comrades since. Between helping out his original three saviors and going on quests with Tatiana, Kythyk is usually kept busy running all over the place and hopes to eventually find a place in a world that would otherwise hate him for what he is.
9. Kythyk only wears an assortment of robes, and the only physical weapon he carries is a small dagger he keeps hidden in case an enemy gets too close. Generally, he tends to rely on his mental powers to inflict pain when necessary.
10. Kythyk is not an evil mind flayer at all, but he still has to eat brains from time to time. In order to avoid offending or harming anyone he might befriend, he tends to resort to eating the gray matter of animals, which he considers “simple carbohydrates.” (Any thinking, intelligent beings are “complex carbs.”) I also am iffy on Kythyk pairing-wise. For most D&D settings, however, he gets shipped with John’s OC, Vanessa.

1.Calibhaan
2. Dolgaunt (technically he does have human DNA, having a human mother, but for the most part, his dolgaunt genes override it.)
3. Though dolgaunts tend to be almost Eberron-exclusive, I’ve heard of instances in Forgotten Realms games where dolgaunts appear. And Cal tends to do his own thing, so I imagine he’ll see to it that he pops up wherever he wants, whenever he wants, regardless of setting.
4. Monk
5. 26
6. Male
7. Evil, sadistic, cruel, manipulative…need I go on? You get the picture, I’m sure…
8. Calibhaan keeps most of his past in the dark, feeling that anything he lets slip can and will be used against him in the future. It is known, however, that he has twelve older half-brothers and a deceased full-blood brother. His mother is a human sorceress by the name of Siobhan, who currently lives on Tempest Isle, while the whereabouts of his dolgaunt father, Orpheuss, remain unknown. Calibhaan has left a trail of bodies behind him wherever he goes, and only the most stalwart of paladins choose to hunt him. Little else is known where his past is concerned.
9. Calibhaan wears no armor, and since he’s a monk, he carries no weapons, preferring to rely on his natural martial arts skills and the deadly reach of his shoulder tentacles.
10. Calibhaan tends to view most women as “tasty toys,” and will most likely eat them in more ways than one. He tends to easily manipulate the young half-elf, Lilenia d’Lyrandar, in an attempt to corrupt her. There is a much softer side to Calibhaan, however, though it is rarely seen. When he’s not about the world trying to eat or murder anyone he feels like, he tends to retreat back to Tempest Isle to care for his mother, who nurtures his gentler side as best she can.
