I've gotten mixed opinions on how long phases should be. On one hand, people complained about the veto ceremony and replacement nominee process taking too long, and wanted veto/renomination decisions to be made during the veto competition. However, some people dislike the fact that without time to deliberate after the veto winner is revealed, it is difficult to bargain with the veto winner for it to be used, and to campaign for who the renomination should be.

One alternative I came up with to meet in the middle is this: If the veto winner is one of the nominees, jump straight to the eviction ceremony, with the HOH putting up the replacement nominee they decided on during the veto competition. However, if the HOH or someone who isn't a nominee wins the veto, give 24 hours for people to plead to them and for them to make a decision.

We're putting up a poll and will be implementing the most desired response, so make sure to consider the options and make your preference heard.

Since there was an overwhelming majority in the poll, we've decided to give the Veto holder and Head of Household the full 24 hours to make their decisions if they want it, but they're welcome to make conditional submissions in order to make it end early.
