Red hair flowed back in a dance of chaos. The wind was rushing against his face from the incredible speed that the Pidgeot his mom let him ride could fly at. Flying was an incredible experience. He had done it once or twice and new in his heart that he would have to get a flying type Pokémon that he could call his own. Pewter City was in sight and growing larger. But that's not where Jason Sanders wanted to go. He wanted to explore the wilderness. His mom's Pidgeot dove down through the trees and made a perfect landing. The Pidgeot shrugged his shoulders, causing Jason to fall to the ground and land on his butt. He looked to the Pidgeot and smiled. "Thanks for the ride. Go home and take care of mom for me."

The Pidgeot hardly needed an excuse to leave. It was in the air and flying away as Jason's sentence came to a finish. His mom told him that this was his only "freebie" and that he was going to have to start figuring out how to travel on his own. Looking around, Jason saw a wilderness that he'd be happy to explore. It was his goal to explore every nook and cranny and to be able to protect the Pokémon in these woods. He would do so until he felt the urge to move on to a new location. Jason grabbed the miniaturized Pokéball from his pocket and threw it into the air. His Igglybuff, Delilah, came out. "Welcome to the Pewter City wilderness, Delilah."

The little Igglybuff immediately ran to her trainer and hugged his leg. "What are we doing here?"

Jason merely shrugged his shoulders. "Mom said this would be a great place to start. We're gonna learn this forest inside and out. Are you ready?"

Delilah started jumping in excitement. But then she was always excited. "Yes! We should find another Pokémon to travel with us too."

"When did you get so smart, Delilah?" Jason beamed happily. He had already been planning on getting a team of Pokémon that could help him protect helpless Pokémon and people.

Delilah just grinned. "I've always been this smart silly. Everyone knows that Igglybuffs are super geniuses."

Jason had to laugh at that. "Everyone knows that Igglybuffs are super cute. I just got lucky. Let's go see if we can find a new team mate."

They happily started walking in a random direction, not exactly sure where they wanted to go. Delilah had to climb up Jason and sit on his shoulder, since Jason's strides were much bigger than hers. Her cute little ears perked up instantly. "Do you here that, trainer?"

Jason hadn't bothered to correct her on the name she had given him. He was okay with it. He listened closely, but he didn't hear anything. "No, let's go see what it is. Point out the way for me."

They had done this many times. She'd stand on his shoulder, holding onto his hair for support. She would point out the way and he would walk in that direction. They were a great team. As Jason walked in the direction of the noise, it became louder and more clear. It was a group of voices, singing. Delilah started singing as well, happy to join in the chorus. He smiled. Anything that made his Igglybuff happy tended to make him happy. In a small clearing, a group of Igglybuffs, Jigglypuffs, and Wigglytuffs were singing. They were happy and free. Delilah jumped off of Jason's shoulder and ran over to the group of singers. She happily joined in and they let her. They appreciated music and music lovers.

Jason, however, sat with his back against a tree and dozed off. The power of their voices made him go into a gentle slumber.

Jason had slept for forty five minutes when he was rudely awaken by the ticklish sensation he felt upon his face. It was an angry Jigglypuff drawing random markings on his face with a marker it loved dearly. His ears started to work halfway through the angry Jigglypuff's rant.

"-usy human, falling asleep to my singing. All I ever want is an audience and what do people give me? They fall asleep on me!" Jigglypuff ended her rant and human art after drawing devil horns, angry eyes, and a devil goatee on Jason.

Jason abruptly sat up, startling the Jigglypuff and making Delilah roll around laughing. Delilah was already a brighter shade of pink from laughing as her trainer was being drawn upon. A look of confusion formed on his face. "What.... what's going on?"

"You fell asleep to my beautiful song, that's what's going on. And you're going to pay dearly!" The larger pink Pokémon swelled up in anger.

If it wasn't for the translation device that Rick the Pokémon Ranger gave him, he would be in severe trouble. Luckily for him, he could understand every word that came out of Jigglypuff's mouth. "All Jigglypuffs put me to sleep. It's not just you."

A vein popped out on Jigglypuff's forehead in pure anger. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. "What did you just say?"

Delilah's slapped her palm to her forehead. She was used to her trainer eating his own words. She groaned loudly. "He didn't mean it that way. Trainer isn't smart with his words."

Jigglypuff turned to look at Delilah, wondering why she had even bothered to defend the human that was about to get pummeled into oblivion. "Why are you speaking for this stupid oaf?"

Jason was starting to become irritated. He didn't like that he was the sibject of their one-sided degrading conversation. "This oaf is right here. I don't appreciate my intelligence being mocked."

The Jigglypuff turned quickly around to face the idiotic human being. Unadulterated rage crossed her face. She was holding her breath and swelling up.

"Trainer! Run, now!" Delilah hopped onto Jason's shoulder while he was sitting on the ground. She tugged at his shirt trying to get him to hurry up. "Run or become deaf!"

That warning jolted a surge of adrenaline into the boy. He stood up to his feet and ran for his life. He was making good time, getting quite a ways away from the angry Jigglypuff. He didn't get far enough away. A hypersonic stream of curses filled the forest air. The Jigglypuff has used her Hyper Voice technique. Jason took shelter behind a tree and covered his ears. He learned a new lesson today. Don't piss off pink Pokémon.
