No need to apologise! It happens, and hey it did make the game pretty interesting being on a tribe that lost all the time. :p

I probably would have found your tribe to be more painful tbh. Talking about who’s going to be voted out in the event of a TC, without... actually talking about it can be super annoying.

Anyway, I’ll give you the infoz on what happened.

Peach pretty much immediately told Jiggly that she felt distant from her old tribe mates after voting for Kirby in their last TC. And Kirby didn’t like it how Peach voted for him in their last TC.

So it was looking pretty good! Me, DK and Jiggly has agreed to work together and we had options.

But here comes the problem.

Peach really didn’t like me and a few days in actually started telling people that she wanted me out.

I think it was because this was the first PM I sent to her:

(A nice long PM followed by Peach "Oh that's nice" Yikes)

So I was pretty open with Jiggly and DK about how I would rather not vote with Peach and they told me they wanted her out too... until a few hours before deadline when they told me they were voting Kirby and I was like “uh no” and a tie was formed.

Then Jiggly voted Peach in the revote.

At this stage I still intended on working with Jiggly and DK, but DK got super defeatist after Peach was voted out and kept carrying on as if he was definitely the next target which sort of became a self-fulfilling prophecy.

But then a tie at a 5 person TC???? Whaaat???

Well despite Jiggly agreeing with me to vote DK, apparently DK told Jiggly he had an idol and convinced him to vote Fox and Jiggly didn’t tell anyone about any of this.

Aaaand Fox voted for Jiggly in the fear that DK had an idol (also without telling anyone)

So it was 2 DK 2 Fox 1 Jiggly and of course no idol.

And then everyone voted DK.

And then I was still prepared to work with Jiggly but after all the dodgy stuff in the previous TCs, I just didn’t feel as comfortable trusting him, so he made the most sense as the vote.

you know you're like the third person who's said I stole their character pick. I didn't even particularly want kirby over my other two top choices, Game & Watch and Luigi. surprised the little puffball was such a popular choice tbh.

I will say one thing - you're probably already aware that the rest of this game is more than willing to sell you as a big threat. and I'm self-aware and know that I'm probably intimidating too. I think it does good things for both of us to have each other around, at least in the short-term, simply because that's less heat on the other person. my philosophy is that the term "big threat" is a bunch of garbo and we're all just people playing survivor. but that's just me.

And I guess that makes sense, but also, it serves me to keep as many ORs up as possible in the case another goes home next time, like say if Ness were to win immunity, suddenly the only proper vote is Kirby and that puts me in a minority.

okay I'm trying to think of ways to reply to this PM because there's a lot I would like to say here but I don't know if we're at that stage of our Survivorship yet.

and stuff like this is why I feel like it's good for both of us if the other's around as long as possible. because Mario can't be the only person thinking shit like this. and the fact that he bothered to send this to Ike of all people already shows that tribal lines are deteriorating.
(I guess if anything I'd prefer if you didn't tell anyone I sent you this, but it's your life)

I have to think about what I want to do tonight. but just know that right now "voting out pikachu" is not on that agenda.

I've worked out the confusing bit. we both thought the other was too attached to Cap so we haven't been telling each other all game that we wanted to gouge our eyes out when reading his PMs. that led to him acting like a filthy pagonger to me and me going along with it.
tbh he's probably just as much of a threat long-term as us. which lends credit to the idea of the three of us keeping each other safe. just throwing that opinion at the Opinion Wall

Yeah that should work. Our options are Kirby, Mario, or Fox. I think Kirby might be pretty dangerous because he is not only a challenge threat but also a social threat. Mario is close to Ness (but I think Kirby is as well). I think Fox is pretty harmless so maybe not him yet.

I don't know what the plan is. I know I'm working with you and Ike but being on Blue 2.0 it still feels like I'm pretty much at the whim of whatever. I'm down for whatever keeps the three of us safe another round.

I guess that's true! I guess my prevailing feeling right now is that people are like "WE LOVE SANGMIN" and I'm like "...what?" He's a big gameplayer but maybe I'm just not into that. I agree that the Final 6 -- the Final 8, even -- is AMAZING. They did a really good job of giving each character the appropriate amount of ocntent.

Hmm. I don't know if I'm worried about someone being a threat this far back in the game. It might be good to keep a threat around so no one thinks of turning?
Kirby does seem to attract attention wherever she goes and the longer someone like that is around the easier it is to get everyone to get them.

In Baby Blue there's dissent among the ranks. I've heard Ness is considering Ike :/ and Kirby's not sure but he's leaning Mario. What do you think?

Ohhhh he did that? See I think at that point I was still trying to figure out who everyone was so I didn't remember that that was Sangmin. My favorite games so far have been Scamming Horse Race, Open/Pass, and the Zombie game.

I don't know. Rebecca reminds me of myself at points where I feel competent in my job but everything else is a hot mess. Her mom is cray though but I like how it's kind of justified.

Voting them off does seem like a good way to solve the problems. I meant that Kirby probably voted Ike this time. Maybe Kirby has always been voting Ike, that would be hilarious. I'm just thinking that if they already want to vote him that's four people between us? And he probably wouldn't expect it.

Oh and this challenge is a challenge where we talk about what to do, that's really weird. What's the best way to do this? Just try to pick different things?

Maybe you're right. I don't see Ike having a lot of connections out of us though? If he wants to vote either Ness or Mario, that only leaves Kirby?
I agree we need to keep our eyes open though, there's still potentially 2 idols out there and only 7 people left, that's a pretty scary statistic.

I passed along all our answers to Yoshi so he'd submit False/True so we have a 2/2 split between the four of us

I gotta ask you this though: Kirby just told me that Ike came to him about wanting to flip on you and me. He specifically mentioned not to bring it up with Ike, so I'm thinking he's trying to play me.
What do you think? Ike doesn't really have any reasons to backstab us right now, does he? He came to us with the F4 offer himself?

Anything with Pokemon in it. I was obsessed about it for awhile. The pokemon card game video game was great too. I liked the Digimon card game video game as well. It's strange how much better they are then the idea of playing the actual card games. Digital counting just seems so much easier?

But Pikachu can't hear you half the time. Isn't that going to make it hard to get the right ingredients? Good thing Pikachu probably can't accidentally pick the poisonous mushrooms and murder you in this game.

I wasn't allowed to watch Pokemon or play the card game because my parents didn't want me dealing with "witchcraft" so I was out of the loop for a while.

I'm glad you won't accidentally pick poison mushrooms for me
