I, being of sound body and mind, do hereby relinquish my physical and spiritual properies on the mafiascum forums and release all the secrets, ideas, thoughts, and hopes that I had in this series.

I had a great run and I enjoyed many great times, exciting moments, and friendships that will last me some time. It was suggested that I do a data dump for posterity's sake about what I accomplished, hoped to achieve, and the trials and tribulations of a simple gimmick.

So I will be throwing things here and there as I remember them so that after the game has concluded and drinks are shared around with friend and foe alike, we can reminisce over the hubris that was a crazy hand.

A friend from a previous era told me about the game he was running for the Challenge, but I didn't live up to expectations and was eliminated. I was very upset that the game ended in my elimination at three in the morning, waiting for mods to take my score, so I held a lot of resentment in my heart.

So my only live friend from MS approached me to help moderate a series that he had in his mind. He had basic truths that he had kept at heart, for example, having three mods in case things happen. At first, I didn't want anything more to do with it. But I was curious in making games, so I volunteered to give them. As time went forward, the expectations grew and we kind of wordlessly agreed that I would become a spectator moderator for this game, chiefly because I have a vendetta.

To be honest, I hate mafiascum. I hate that there is one expected meta and everyone expects you to play that way. Why is it a given that you have to pour out a fake life story within the first thirty minutes of a game otherwise you're seen as an easy boot? The veterans mope and complain about having novices to the game get booted out into succession but they never stop to think if they themselves are the problem. Obviously, because of their experiences, they must be right. In addition, I hate that I have to be the one to constantly apologize when things don't live up others' expectations. People think it's okay to be toxic and mean and then excuse their behavior saying "oh, well, they had a rough time, so it's okay to be a bully or a toxic waste (because we all do that)." Obviously, for professionalism and for customer service, I'll work hard to put it forward. But why did this become acceptable in the MS society? And if I apologize, both spectators and players alike criticize me for apologizing and trying to find a reasonable conclusion as well? You've set me up to be the villain regardless for what I do. It makes me mad that you can justify your anger because you deserve fairness and equity, but expect none of that for me and give me half apologies and say "oh well, i'm sorry but you deserve it" after the fact.

So I vowed to make a game that would prove them wrong. I would make the strangest spectator station that would avoid the toxicity, avoid the apathy, and create the narrative that they want in a show while showing that they can engage with the series and each other in a positive manner. While we can see, in the end, that people's natures don't really change that much, this game has subconsciously changed the way that you scummers are acting towards each other so I am hoping that this trend continues. I would give people the opportunity to engage with each other in multiple dimensions so that people could trailblaze, find out new interesting things about themselves, and just aspects. Each game I created has an out, a very easy one. But there are people who constantly complained about things being different from the status quo and did not hesitate to besmirch me not just to others, but to people around me as well. I get it - but I hope you don't act this way in real life, because as a lesson, I wanted to show that not everything is uniform and that there are twists. I made challenges, but I made easy solutions that you should overcome them. Your rejection of even trying because you felt morally superior to my tests just shows the amount of effort you would make for me, and shows me a lot about your true nature.

It's funny because I made up stories in order to have the angel and devil edits because I was curious as to how to write story arcs. No one ever doubted those words and accepted what I said without another word and it became the gospel truth. They then warped it with their own imaginations to rewrite truth with their collective perception. My heart has been warped by the hatred that I've experienced without those willing to listen to my side of the story. I've given up, so this was my legacy - my vindication that everything I stood for was right, whether or not you agree with it.

The games I created for this series:

Trivia League of Legends
adapted from learnedleague.com
selection process from League of Legends
tested via Trivia Championships of North America

Duplicate Cribbage
adapted from duplicate bridge scoring with cribbage playstyle
tested via Cribbage World Tour 2017

Pokemon Jaipur
reskinned version of the gam using the Pokemon catching theme

original pitch was this was done duplicate style similar to the previous round

Tower of Greed
flash game that friends liked to use for high score challenges

original pitch was that it was based on number of trophies collected, not high score

Minority Rules
based off the Liar Game version

original pitch was that questions would be done sequentially so that long-term tactics can be negotiated as part of the mix (a variant elimination method proposed that would have made an idol available at this stage here, but safe from elimination are those who drop out in the first round)

Thumbtacks
popular Mafiascum game

original pitch included collaboration for potential lying

Proposed Spectator Unlocks

Spectator Points Unlock:
10 - Episodes Recaps
100 - Additional Fantasy Points added
500 - "The Mole" Character IRL Challenge (moved up to 100 SP challenge)
1000 - Smash After Dark (pushed back due to time constraints, then cancelled due to mod apathy)
2500 - Leaderboards unlocked (advanced earlier)
5000 - Karaoke Room (cancelled after Palutena did this)
7500 - Power Rankings unlocked
10000 - Memelord Trash Thread (cancelled after Amy did this)
15000 - Spectator Survivor (cancelled after Primid did this)

progression actually performed
10 - Episodes Recaps (cancelled due to mod complaints about Google searches)
100 -"The Mole" Character IRL Challenge (cancelled due to spectator complaints)
500 - Marketplace unlocked
1000 - Bank with leaderboards
2500 - VIP Lounge (discord) unlocked
5000 - Spec Survivor awarded game status + Casino launched in VIP Lounge
7500 - Double SP launched, Pokemon launched in VIP Lounge
10000 - Rob the Bank mini-event

Puzzle League
adopted from the Grand Prize of Puzzling
riddles taken from the 2018 Swiss Grand Prix

Sudoku League
adopted from the Grand Prize of Sudoku
riddles taken from the 2018 Croatian Grand Prix
Spec unlock cancelled before launch due to unpopular feedback concerning puzzle league

The Mole
based off the TV series where people tried to figure out the identity of the mole
took one spec account and made it to a mole and took how people liked trying to figure out IDs of players
Spec unlock cancelled midseries due to unpopular feedback

The Stadium
a casual place where spectators could share interests in board and abstract game while just hanging out
Spec unlock cancelled midseries due to unpopular feedback

Challenge Beast
modeled after the previously finished The Challenge
score points for perfomrance in the challenges

Karaoke Room
sharing what music and chill that makes us interesting
Spec unlock cancelled due to Palutena post

Meme Trash Room
original intent was to give specs a place to be the worst versions of themselves and get negativity out of the way so rest of spec forum and player interaction would be positive
[/i] Spec unlock cancelled due to Amy post[/i]

Spec Survivor Series
due to so many players desiring to be in the game, we were going to run a 2-day Skype-style survivor series with fast eliminations
[/i] Spec unlock cancelled due to Primid post[/i]

Episode Recaps
after conducting extensive interviews (roughly 25 minutes and giving huge edits to players in danger of elimination/eliminated), submit 8-10 page recaps of all the actions of the episodes including PMs and personal feelings of the players fresh from their action. Because I have a TV background, I could craft narrative similar to an hour-long drama.
Spec unlock cancelled due to low readership/other mod request for takedown

Smash After Dark
audio podcast style series with an R-rated series that took a look behind the scenes of how the game was being run with interviews with eliminated players, stories and highlights, music intermissions, and even a fun cheezy 80s porn intro/outro
modeled after a combination of the Howard Stern Show and Welcome to Nightvale
Spec unlock cancelled / never reached due to apathy of Crazy Hand after receiving so much criticism

Solution to The Mole / The Hunger Games

Either acceptable answer for the Mole is Waluigi, him for being a reviewer in the game and also a participant in the Mole (yet never receiving SP for submitting answers, strange, no?) or Mr. Resetti for being a literal mole.

The answer for the Hunger Games is Food, because the hint was in the name all along. Food helped me in infiltrating the spectators and gave me an insight for how they were acting. Then once the Hunger Games launched, he went radio silent. Survival in the Hunger Games. All you had to do was claim the "You're #1" card from the Marketplace for 250 SP. This would eliminate all inactive players.

I wish I were a better person. I wish I could be congenial, but I should probably become better as a person and cous on myself. I wish I could be as saintly as Pablito to have left on such a positive note. However, I, too, wish everyone all the best.

Good luck in future series and challenges and whatever obstacles you face in real life or online.

Peace.
