Will there be a Redemption Island kind of situation?

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm or deny the possibility of a player returning to the game. I know that makes it hard, since it's difficult to plan for...

All I can tell you is what has been done in the past. Of the last six games played on MS that I recall, one explicitly sent someone back into the game, and one sent several people back by virtue of a special twist.

Rest assured that everyone is in the same vote, and no player knows whether or not anyone will return. I hope that helps.

Jenna, in the future, please log all votes in your Voting Urn. That's where we go to look for votes, so if it's not there, often you will automatically get a self-vote and a strike.

Thanks! :D

~**Confessional Questions!**~

Darling, it's been so looong~ I got exactly what I was hoping for with my first round of this, so now I'm back with more specially crafted questions.

1) How have tribes been treating you? Who are your favorites?

2) Now that it's been a bit to see how the HOH twist works, what are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? Do you have plans on how to best utilize it for your own game?

3) Are there any twists or challenges that you've seen in past games or on the shows that you would love to see in this game? Are there any you would never want to see ever again and why do people keep mentioning them?

4) How frivolous is this question? Can you use frivolous in a sentence to describe something about this game?

5) Question 5 is always going to be the most important question I ask in these, so make sure to give this the most effort. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would shut the fuck up about chucking wood and just do his goddamn job?

I love you 5ever.

xoxo,
Parv~

I don't know if its the Pink or what but yo Parvati, stop being so hot. :P

1) I've only been on this tribe so far so. I tried to get Jordan to work with my plan and she didn't so while as a person she seems awesome, she's on my naughty list. I liked J'Tia but she's elsewhere and I like Joe but he's been quiet recently which makes me sad. Jenn I liked in the beginning but she was ready to cut me, Joe, J'Tia and Jonny and that means she's on like the hit list. I'm still trying to decide between her and Jordan who is less trustworthy. Jordan asking me about the advantage made me wonder if she had taken it and Jenn's disappearance made me think she took it?

2) I don't love the HoH twist as it puts a ton of power in one person's hands and so everyone has to scramble to get that person's attention\favor regardless of how that person treats them or if they care or like them so like forced bedfellows or something.

Utilize it for my own game? Idk, I think it can make you enemies as much as give you power. I want to know how RC rallied or what social machinations help with that as fluff doesn't quite cut it but being Sandra Diaz I don't think will work either (bluntness) since it seems like Jonny offended some through a angry PM and Jenn sort of made me feel she was untrustworthy through her discussions of Joe and then her alliance offers.

I also just see the words HoH and think, the hoe of the tribe :P

3) So obviously I'm not a puzzle person so those kinds of challenges wouldn't be the best for me or anything chess, sudoku or "super smart" people stuff.

I'd love to see more creative challenges (maybe the evicted players get to vote as judges or there are guest judges who see the entries anonymously).

For the Survivor game I was in, there was a make a Buff challenge (basically people used like Paint to make buffs and they were judged on whether they represented the tribe name\color\mascot and aesthetics\team spirit). There was also make a "nice" banner for the other team and include their symbolism.

There was also a writing challenge where we had to write a story inspired by Edgar Allen Poe and keep a creepy\horror tone and use at least one quote from his own work. The twist was that both tribes had to write an opening sentence to submit first. Then that opening was given to the other team and the team had to start off using it.

Another challenge that I was thinking about was one based on Pitch Perfect's riff off. Where the Mods choose a song and maybe a starting lyrics (2-4 lines) and the teams have to continue for a certain period of time (starting with the last word that the previous team ended on or last letter).

Of course people could Google lyrics so maybe the twist would be that lyrics had to be posted at a certain time and only the team that got it (like the HoH challenge) would win a point? Maybe every 10-15 minutes? Mods would have to be there to make sure that the teams followed the rules of posting at the right second, continuing with the last word (or letter because imagine if they found a song where the word was made up or ridiculous or not used in songs?). I guess it could last for 24 hours but it might be fun to do an intense 2-4 hour challenge with teams posting every 10 minutes on the clock?

Ummm...what else? There's the obstacle course challenge which is about team work. I'm not sure if that's typical.
Something like:
W of Tribe opens the metal gate and passes the flag
X of Tribe runs over the mossy hill and passes the flag
Y of Tribe swims to the sandy shores and passes the flag
Z of Tribe grabs the treasure chest and takes it to Tribe Camp

There is a time limit (intevals of an hour or so) and the tribe that gets to the treasure chest first wins immunity.
What the Mods did in our game was add it so that for each "checkpoint" the tribe members had to post in a specific color (so blue for swimming) and bold the text. If they didn't do this or made a mistake (such as use the wrong color or not bold or do the wrong step in the chain) then whoever was next had to continue from the last correct post.

That was fun. I guess depending on time zones the challenges could stretch over 24 hours but that also just sucks and not every "live" challenge like that would be fun if people couldn't make it because of school\work etc.

Wow this was a lot. I'll post more as I remember. There was plate smashing that wasn't bad. There were auctions where everyone started off with the same money and bid on items A-F without knowing if the item was valuable or not. There was a spelling challenge with the team having to spell out a word but not being able to communicate via PMs or forum. Each word\length got a certain number of points and all teams were posting in the same thread so it got messy.

4) I feel frivolous and wish I had made a character and played IC in it the entire time and separated RL from the game so yeah.

5) LOL, it depends on if the woodchuck is doing the job on his own and needs to depend on no one but his own self or if he's having to fucking work with people and they eat all the berries and laze around. Then he should chuck them and get it done.
