HERE WE ARE AT THE F12 NOW . . . ~ Strategically, who do you consider your biggest competition on your tribe and WHY? And who are you not worried about strategically over here at all and WHY? ~ Now, answer the same two part question above.....but replace "strategically" with "challenge-wise." ~ Then do the same thing, but use the word "socially." * * * (As is always the case in Confessionals, you'll find that I'm looking for the WHY behind each player's thoughts) * * * |

Strategically, thats a tough one and is ever changing. But right now I would have to say Kate. Libby confirmed to me that she considers Kate 'shady'. Now Libby wants Kate out, and Libby was her former ally, theres a red flag. I would not be surprised if Kate got word of this and mounted an offensive. Her perceived relationship with Jack is causing alot of mistrust among her 'allies' or should I say former allies. Why is she protecting Jack so fiercly?? Im least concerned strategically about Danielle. I think she supports what I do 100%. I do not think she will go behind my back anytime soon. That would be a jaw dropper for me. Challenge wise, I think I am the best on my tribe at challenges. But my biggest competition is probably Claire. She brings some good ideas and resources to the tribe. But the challenge area is one I have no concerns at all. Im really not worried about anyone challenge wise. Socially, definitly Claire. Of everybody I have talked with in the game so far. I consider her the best social player. And the fact that I backstabbed her, then 2 days later, I was forced to align with her, has me concerned. I would say Kate is the weakest socially, she already annoyed Libby to the point of, Libby leading a charge to vote out Kate. Kate can be a little abrasive at times. Nice person, but I can see how some people might be put off by her style. I like it, but Im trying to self preserve. |

~ How do you think things are looking and how do you see it going from here? ~ What is your greatest strength in this game? ~ What is your greatest weakness? (if you don't think you have a weakness right now, then WHO is your biggest weakness/detriment) |

For how things are looking, who knows. My answer 2 days ago would be completely different from what it is now. I thought my alliance with Kate/Libby/Danielle was solid. Then Jack gets wind of something, and sends me a pissed off PM. Libby gets skittish, and doesnt trust Kate. Everyone is worried about Kate and Jack lol. To me it makes no sense to blow up smooth sailing to the merge, but somehow that happened. I feel I could very well go next, or go far. I dont know if you followed all those PMs between me and Claire yesterday, but it was a crazy day in this tribe. My greatest strength, could also be my biggest weakness. I think I do well, and am percieved to do very well at the challenges. It is still a strength in the tribe for now. Its also helps keep me in the game by avoiding tribal council. I am the only player remaining in the game that has had immunity for every tribal council. But if Im lucky enough to make the merge, I could see me being target #1. I have to get my alliances as strong as possible heading to the merge, which made yesterdays action quite disruptful, fun , but could be damaging. |

Very interesting that you never had to vote in the 4some tribe, and the only time so far that you've had to vote after the mix-up...you had an individual immunity. |

I also cannot wait to see, your views about the tribal dynamics in this tribe. Im missing alot of peices of the puzzle on why things are happening the way they are. Gonna be an interesting game. |

Glad you're enjoying the message board format. There are definite things I miss about the way I set things up on myspace. But some definite advantages here on the admin side of things. Bottom line though, once mypace changed their blog function settings, I knew I'd have to switch. Otherwise, everyone would be able to read everyone else's Confessionals throughout the game. Yikes.
There are a lot of Survivor games out there. But I honestly don't know of any other host who writes lengthy Confessionals IN REAL TIME as this all plays out. Some post a few thoughts here or there in different rounds. Some wait until the game is over, then months later they'll write a "fanfic" version of it all. But at least here, immediately after the game is over, EVERYONE can read round by round and see EXACTLY what was going on each step of the way. (and y'all wonder why I never get any sleep, he he) ![]() |

I have never played any others, dont know if I would want to. The only other time I played was obv. 'The Office', which even though it ended badly for me, was great fun. And Im quite happy to be back. I loved the round by round, commentary, and the rankings of the players.I think alot of that is what made it so fun. You gotta do it as its happening, so you are not jaded by the actual outcome. I have to say you do an amazing job. I still go back and re read all the commentary from 'The Office' . Thanks for the chance to play again. I am having a good time. I just want to stay around a bit longer, so I can keep playing. Im doing my best but my tribe is driving me crazy. I really appreciate the effort you put into this. Even if we are all a pain in the ass sometimes. Playing this is the next best thing to being on the show.

Well, thank YOU. And since you bring up the prior game you played two seasons ago, do you feel you are sharper this time around? Pick up any ideas on how to approach things after an early boot the first time around? Think people can actually improve their game by dissecting the round by round entries y'all get to read afterwards?

Well, the one thing you drove home about 'creed' was to make sure to communicate with everybody. And I feel I am doing that. Dont know if its working. Sometimes circumstances and other players can dramatically alter things, no matter what you do. I feel I am in a better position, but I dont know, things changed so rapidly. I will not be surprised if Im out next. I dont know if voting out Ben was right. Because, if we went with Ben/Claire. All hell would have broke loose the other way. I thought I was in a good positon with Libby/Kate and that goes away so fast. But I did feel I was kinda the go to guy, on that first vote. Everybody was coming to me about what they were doing. I try to talk to everybody. And its pretty amazing to me that me and Claire talk so much after what happened, but she could be playing me. I think you can certainly learn from reading the commentary because, you often point out mistakes you think the player made or is in the process of making. You said my mistake last time was communication, and thats what I have tried to work on the most. |
