![]() Hello, players! As you can see, the time has come for you all to leave the cradles of civilization and spread out across the globe! You have now been scattered into four new tribes based on your new locations. Feel free to come up with a new tribal name in your new forums, or keep it the same if you would like. REMEMBER, YOU MAY NO LONGER PM PLAYERS FROM YOUR OLD TRIBE UNLESS THEY ARE ALSO ON YOUR NEW TRIBE!' I'm afraid you don't have a ton of time to meet your new companions, though, because it's time for our first challenge! One of the most important tasks a new civilization faces is keeping its citizens safe. We've constructed a giant wall to keep the barbarians out, but it appears a few of them are still here! Here's how this will work: You are going to be divided into groups of four, one person from each tribe. One person in each group will be a barbarian. The other three will be ordinary citizens. You will talk among yourselves and vote for who you think the barbarian is. The first player to get three votes against them will be killed. If that player was the barbarian, then all of the other players will get 2 points for their tribe. If the player killed was a citizen, then that player will have a chance to immediately kill another player of his or her choice. If THAT player was the barbarian, then everybody else will have to settle for only 1 point for their tribe. But if the dust settles and we have two citizens dead, then the barbarian will win 3 points for their tribe! Here are the groups! Group 1: Hatshepsut, Mansa Musa, Reagan, Elizabeth Group 2: Gandhi, Washington, Tokugawa, Justinian Group 3: Lincoln, Augustus Caesar, Gilgamesh, Charlemagne Group 4: Boudica, Genghis Khan, Hammurabi, Churchill Group 5: Mao, Julius Caesar, Catherine, Bismarck Group 6: Roosevelt, Willem, Isabella, Victoria Once again, winning as barbarian is worth 3 points for your tribe. Winning as citizen via lynch is worth 2 points for your tribe. Winning as citizen via revenge kill is worth 1 point for your tribe. A no-lynch is counted as a draw and awards no points to anyone. You may retract or change your vote as often as you like, but once a player has three votes against them there is no going back. The TWO tribes with the lowest scores after all three games are completed will be going to Tribal Council. You have 48 hours. Game forums will be opened and role assignments will be posted in your confessionals shortly. TIEBREAKER: In the event of a tie, the tribe with the least lynch victims will win. In the event of another tie, the tribe with the least revenge kill victims will win. Do not discuss this challenge with your teammates. You may submit a conditional revenge kill in your confessional in the event that you are not around at deadline. Edited by Herodotus, Jan 8 2016, 08:16:34 PM.

Roles are out and permissions should be changed. If you can't see your new tribe or your challenge subforum, let me know. |

Getting a lot of questions about this. You can talk to your teammates, introduce yourself, strategize about the over-all game, make alliances, send PMs, all that good stuff. You just can't talk about the individual barbarian-hunts. That way, say your game ends early, and Tribe X won 3 points for the barbarian fooling everybody. I don't want you telling your tribe "Hey, Tribe X got three points! Let's intentionally throw Group Y's game so they don't get any more!" Hopefully that clears things up. |
