Discuss who you think the barbarian is in here! Vote in bold like this: Vote: Thucydides. If you change your mind, post in bold Unvote: Thucydides. Good luck! |

Roosevelt because he served long enough to be a king |

It is a sobering thing, my friends, to be a servant of this great cause. We try in our daily work to remember that the cause belongs not to us, but to the people. The standard is not in the hands of you and me alone. It is carried by America. We seek daily to profit from experience, to learn to do better as our task proceeds. I am no king, and therefore will vote for Willem!

I am back. Is there a reason why we are thinking Willem or Roosevelt? Did I miss something? |

I'm pretty sure we're just shooting at fish in a barrel with our guesses. But I will stand steadfast with my original vote |

Okay. Does Willem have anything to say for yourself as to why I shouldn't vote for you? |

Ah yes. A trial before his peers is an excellent plan. Every dying man deserves the right to a plea for salvation |

I feel it would be easier just to vote with us so we don't spend lots of time trying to come to an agreement |

I am not willing to vote until I hear some type of defense from Willem or Roosevelt. Their could be strategies from outside this being played and I think everyone deserves a chance to defend themselves. |

I'm just not sure how one would go about providing proof that they aren't a barbarian. The barbarian will lie and say they are not and the civilian will also have to make something up since they also didn't choose that role. |

I get that but in the spirit of the game I would still like a defense. |

I was voted for without any provocation or any reason to think I'd be the barbarian. To me, that doesn't seem like an act of a citizen - sending the attention away from themselves. That being said, I did the same thing to Roosevelt in the sake of a joke and to mix it up a bit, therefore I change my vote as follows: Unvote: Roosevelt Isabella |

If I were the barbarian, I would have tried a bit harder to persuade in my original vote, so as to try and sway my group more. I am also too much of a lady to be a barbarian |

while I do not believe you to be a barbarian Lady Isabelle, after re-reading the rules a tie will lead into no points for any of us, and as we only have under an hour left I will change my vote, rather reluctantly due to the influence of foreign powers. Curse this polio! I had the body of a younger Roosevelt, the Delano certainly wouldn't allow such a fate to happen to someone. You were brave to speak out first, and I shall remember that about you. For the in the end, we have nothing to fear, but fear itself. Unvote: Willem Edited by Roosevelt, Jan 10 2016, 05:12:00 PM.

Isabella has been lynched! She was a CITIZEN. Isabella, you must post the name of one person to revenge-kill. Everybody else must remain silent until then. |

Isabella failed to revenge-kill anybody. This means that Roosevelt has won 3 points for Europe. |
