![]() The Library at Alexandria was one of the largest repositories of information in history; the scribes kept copies of every book and scroll they could get their hands on. Today we will be testing you all on your knowledge of these tomes. I have with me a few scroll fragments detailing three famous historical figures. Each round, the players on the tribe will go around, asking Yes or No questions in order to try to determine a phrase on these scrolls. You will know in advance how many words are in the phrase and it may have a word or two filled in (and, or, if, etc). When any word is used in a question, it is also guessed as being part of the phrase and will be revealed if it is present in the phrase. A moderator will give answers to the questions until the other players have correctly figured out the phrases. In addition, in each given phrase, the mod answering the questions will be posing as the specific person to whom the phrase relates. You may also ask questions about this person. Questions must be somewhat coherent in order to be accepted and answered. For example, "Are you a musician?" would be valid, as would "Does the phrase have something to do with animals?". A clearly grammatically incorrect string of unrelated words is not a question. Do not copy the dictionary or do anything that appears to be an attempt to game the system. If a moderator deems a question too close to doing this, the question will count against you but will not be answered or count towards the displayed words. In addition, the moderators have decided on a secret action. Any time the guessers perform this action (it can be saying a specific word, posting at a specific time, or something like that), you will be alerted, and you will get a penalty of one additional guess. The action is the same for all three phrases. Create a thread in your tribal forums for discussion, and then a second thread for making official guesses. If you have any confusion about how this is going to work, check out this clip from the Great Library's extensive media collection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_shksY0j5g. Here are the phrases: 1) ___ ___ to ___ ___ ___ 2) ___ ___ ___ ___ of the ___ ___ of ___ 3) ___ ___ ___ in ___ ___ |

So there's no win condition attached to this. I'm guessing the tribe that gets all three phrases with the least amount of guesses wins and the others all go to tribal council? Or is it a race to see who gets it first? There's also no time limit mentioned. Does this go on until someone gets all three phrases? |

Oh, right. Two teams with the most total guesses for all three phrases goto Tribal Council. Time limit is 48 hours minus however much time has elapsed from when I posted this. Tiebreaker is number of penalties. |

Wait, so, you're saying that this is kinda like 20 questions where the more questions you ask, the worse off you are? |

Alright, I'm off to bed so I won't be replying to any questions until the morning. |

UPDATE: Because of how fast (or rather, how not fast) this is going, I am removing the third phrase. You now only have to guess the first two. Any guesses you have already used on the third phrase will be removed from your score. |

Alright, everybody has finished early! That means we can get this show started ahead of schedule! In first place... In last place, and attending Tribal Council with them... .That leaves two tribes left. One is safe, and other is sending somebody home tonight. Which is which?
