The Survivor TV show has an advantage over forum games like this, because while we're stuck playing games and doing puzzles, Jeff Probst always has the option of having the contestants participate in a physical challenge. We can't really do that, but as long as we're visiting the Roman Colosseum we can certainly pretend!

Today's challenge will be a race. Not a race to solve a puzzle, not a race to complete a task, but a good old-fashioned footrace. "But Herodotus!" you might ask, "How can we do such a thing on the Internet?" Simple! We're playing QWOP!

Go to https://www.foddy.net/Athletics.html and try to run as far as you can. When you've reached a distance you are happy with, take a screenshot and post it in your confessional. A TAB OPEN TO THE SURVIVOR CIV FORUMS MUST BE VISIBLE IN YOUR SCREENSHOT! When everybody has done this, we will add each tribes scores up and the tribe that collectively runs the furthest will win immunity!

Good luck, and don't forget to stretch first!

The Eastern Hemisphere has opted to sit Catherine out of this challenge.

Results are in! Some of you experienced the thrill of victory. Two tribes will be experiencing the agony of defeat.

The Bronze medal goes to...

The Silver medal goes to...

The Gold medal, and immunity, goes to...

It looks like it was posted while I was writing up the results. Since it appears that technically I only set a 47-hour-and-53-minute timer, I guess I'll allow it.

But the time stamp on my post was 2 days ago. Not sure how it got confused for today.

Oh geez, that's my bad.

In my defense the Read/Unread flags on this forum are not very good and I have a lot of them.
