![]() Borobudur, located on the island of Java in Indonesia, is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Built in the 9th century, Borobudur is the destination for Buddhists looking to make a pilgrimage. So too will you all be making pilgrimages on your quest for enlightenment, as you seek out the knowledge that will give you immunity. Today we will be playing the Wiki Game. When you start the timer, I will give you four pairs of Wikipedia articles. Your goal is to find the shortest path of links that will lead you from the first article to the second. For example, let's say the first pair was "Stephen Colbert -> Ural Mountains". You might submit as your answer: Stephen Colbert Washington, DC United States of America Russian Empire Ural Mountains The player with the fewest number of links overall will win immunity. If there is a tie, victory will go to the player with the shortest time. The use of outside sources other than Wikipedia itself is not allowed! Yes, there are sites that can solve this for you. Yes, I know about them and will be checking your answers to see if you "coincidentally" happened to find the mathematically shortest path on every single question. Also, I shouldn't have to say this but I probably do: Do not edit Wikipedia yourself to make a path shorter or to remove a path behind you! Finally, no using the "Category:" tags at the bottom of the page. If you have any more questions, ask them here. Unlike previous challenges with the timer system, I want you to post your responses in your confessional. The timer start page is HERE. |

Ok, I'm a little confused, do I need to post each link I clicked to get to the second word? |

Correct, although you don't have to format it as a link. The basic gist is that I should be able to click from the first page to the last one by only following your links in order. |

Correct. http://thewikigame.com/least-clicks kind of gives you a feel of what I'm going for here. |

Are you wanting us to screenshot our history? Also, are we allowed to hit "back" if we aren't satisfied with the link we clicked? In other words, are we allowed multiple attempts at each one or do we just have to post our first attempts/are not allowed to hit the "back" button? |

No screenshots. Just type it up. Like, in that Stephen Colbert -> Ural Mountains example... is all you would have to put down. And take as much time as you are comfortable with; the score is based on fewest number of links, not time. Well, unless there's a tie. |

Alright, for the example of (Stephen Colbert) -> (Ural Mountains). I'm gonna start on the Wikipedia page for Stephen Colbert. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My submission is just a list in order of all the links I clicked on to get there: Stephen Colbert -> Washington DC -> United States -> Russian Empire -> Ural Mountains. |

Do "list" wikipedia pages count? You said no categories, but this is a different kind of wiki page. |

Is the section between Categories and External Links considered part of the Categories? For example, Great Pyramid of Giza has a bunch of links under "Egyptian pyramids" then links explicitly titled "categories." |

Categories refers specifically to pages that when clicked on them are titled "Category:____". |

Results are in, let's see how everyone did! Scores include both the first and last pages because I am lazy and don't feel like subtracting 8 from each score. 10th Place... 9th Place... 8th Place... 7th Place... 6th Place... 5th Place... 4th Place... 3rd Place... 2nd Place... 1st Place, and Immunity...
