![]() Ah, Chichen Itza: the jewel of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. Although the name is commonly used to refer to the famous stepped pyramid, the pyramid is actually called "El Castillo" and is but one part of a sprawling complex that was the heart of Mayan civilization. By now our game has moved into at least the Renaissance, and so Chichen Itza is no longer a thriving city. The Mayans who once lived here did leave a ton of artifacts behind, though, and it is those artifacts that will help decided today's immunity challenge. Below is a link to a timer. Once it starts, you will be given a list of clues about five archaeologists who found five artifacts from five centuries in five different locations. Your job is to sort out which archaeologist found what, when it was from, and where they found it. To stop the timer, post your answer in your Confessional. Here are the relevant names and items: Archaeologists: Cedricson, Carter, Dubois, Leakey, and White Places: Temple of Jaguars, El Castillo, Sacred Cenote, Great Ball Court, Temple of Warriors Artifacts: Pot, Spear, Clay Tablet, Statuette, Bone Times: 7th century, 8th century, 9th century, 10th century, 11th century. HERE is the link to the timer/puzzle. The player who matches everything up the fastest will win immunity. |
