Flavor text goes here.

Each of you will be faced against one other player. The player to go first will state a letter. The other player will then add a letter to either the front or the back. Then the third player will add a letter to the front or back of that. This will continue until one of the players makes a word of more than 3 letters, at which point they will be declared the loser and will be eliminated from the challenge.

Here's a sample game:

Herodotus goes first and picks "B".

Thucydides may add to either the front or the back of that. Let's say he chooses the letter "O". He can make either "BO" or "OB". For this example, we'll say he does the former.

Herodotus must add a letter to that. He chooses "R", and adds it to the back. Now the string is "BOR".

Thucydides adds another letter. He puts an "R" on the front this time, creating "RBOR".

It's Herodotus' turn, and if he spells "ARBOR", then he loses. In desperation he puts a "G" on the end, creating "RBORG".

Thucydides knows that there are no words that contain "RBORG", so he says "I challenge!". If Herodotus can think of a word that contains "RBORG", then he wins! But there aren't any, so he loses and Herodotus is out of the challenge.

Remember, letters can be added to the front OR back. Also, while you do not want to spell a word, you must always be building towards a word.

We will be doing this tournament-style. All matchups have been randomly determined:

Game 1: P1 vs P2
Game 2: P3 vs P4
Game 3: P5 vs P6
Game 4: P7 vs P8

Game 5: Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2
Game 6: Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4

Finals: Winner of Game 5 vs Winner of Game 6

Feel free to jazz this up, as long as the info about the mechanics is basically the same.
