Oh yeah he's not a newbie at all I'm pretty sure, you got the same impression? The problem is that there are quite a few sneaky backstabbers left, and he'll spin this as being loyal to Lissandra + "I had no choice :("

Actually. Let me show you the explanation Gnar gave me for your TC.

Gnar

I went into my last tribe wanting to work mostly with jinx and i told her that the moment we entered the tribe. I felt like she barely spoke to me about things she wanted post swap or merge but would approach me with plans her and nautilus made without asking for my input. I really liked mundo and when I told her that mundo was interested in working with us she asked why mundo hadnt come to her at the same time he came to me and said hes not trustworthy. During the tribal she went she spent like 2 hours talking to nautilus (i was watching the activity thing) and sent me a single pm. I feel like she viewed me as a number. Liss is quiet but i believe her motives. When it came to liss versus jinx i decided to vote jinx. I didnt make the decision until like an hr before deadline and it was really stressful and took a lot of thought but i dont think she would have actually been trustworthy moving forward. Going into that tribe she was one of my favorite people from our original tribe but spending a lot of time with her things changed. I hope i was right

Most of that is bull. I approached Gnar with the plans Naut came up with because I was asking for his input. Lol, if I knew he wasn't a newbie, that'd be a cute mistake to make.
That is another cute "newbie" mistake lol. I asked Gnar if Mundo had come to him at the same time that Mundo had come to me because I was worried that Mundo was trying to play both sides of the fence, and it just so happened that Gnar and I were on the same side and all ended up allying together. If these were real concerns Gnar had, he would've asked me to elaborate (which I did, a lot. I told Gnar way too many things that I shouldn't have).
I wasn't talking to Gnar during the TC because Gnar wasn't talking to me. I was asking him for constant updates about what Liss was saying (since she refused to talk to me one iota), but he gave me nothing. Naut on the other hand was still talking to me about the other players and where we'd stand after the next swap with various others and who we should ally.
Honestly, if any of that is truth (which if I'm thinking he is who the mods have hinted at him being, it's definitely all lies) then Gnar needs to reevaluate how to ally with someone. He gave me all his gold so I could buy the GA, so I'm definitely sure he blindsided me just so that the GA could be gone.

I told him more then I should have too, but I told him something that was true at the time, but definitely not now: He asked who would have gone on Ionia and I told him Jarvan because we all hated him. Which might have been true, before we RNG'd who to give our gold, and gave Jarvan the money for the 1100 Tear. Although it was tempting to vote him out even then.

Man, I'm bummed that people like my clueless partner, Jarvan, and Lissandra are going to be in the jury and all we can do is throw eggs at them. I should have known better. I told Malphite the first eliminations set the tone and #2016 was big people being blindsided over and over, and she was like good point, let's blindside Quinn!

Yeah, I still don't understand the mindset to take out big players on the starting/second tribe. It just seems way too preemptive and leaves you with the worst jury ever :-/ Or a pagong, which is even worse.

I've said this in a few places to the mods, but in my opinion the structure of the game encourages a pagong, because the only way to know for sure you're not dealing with partners is to vote out one tribe in its entirety. You even get gold and item rewards for doing so!

It was more that my partner was telling me how great Quinn was, and we knew Quinn was in a 5-man from Bindle. It seemed like an easy way to take her out before she could become a problem again. I regretted it a lot before this, but boy howdy do I regret it now!

Wasn't my thinking~ I knew you had an idol and was terrified because I figured Lulu also had an idol.

Thought you would band up and just idol the fuck out of my friends lol. It was a last minute decision made by a guy puking his brains out

I don't think Quinn was voted out for being a big player, Malphite wanted her out because she told him she didn't trust him, and he was worried at how close she was with Jarvan :P I think taking out big players early on can be very smart if you're doing it for the right reasons. But leaving in someone like Lissandra is dangerous because she's unassuming and will flip on a dime. The primary reason for leaving in big players is that usually they're incredibly predictable.
