So that was a crazy vote.

I was on the right side of it, so that's nice. Now we have the fun job of figuring out who voted for who, since that was way closer than I thought it would be. I lied to no one last round so that feels pretty good. And people seem to have lied to me since there were fewer Toronto votes than I thought there would be.

I dunno, the temperature is getting turned up. This is getting exciting. I'm ready for this next round.

So we're all still kind of reeling from this vote.

I want to get some sort of group together made up of the people who voted for Toronto, because those are the reliable people in my eyes. I definitely think Seattle is looking like an ideal next boot. Real Salt Lake I'm going to maintain connections with though, he could be an important vote later. Same with Montreal.

I think Portland and Seattle have shown themselves to be a little unstable though and they both have to go.

At some point I do need to turn on New York, but I'm cool waiting a while for that point. I know I have Houston on board with it and I think using my connections with outsiders to blindside key people is a pretty good strategy. It's a bit Tony-like, but I'm much calmer and less insane so I think I could make it work.

My bonds with people like Seattle and Montreal are still there and hopefully I have their Jury votes when they get voted out, but they just aren't fitting into my plan. I want to go deep with the Houston, DC, Columbus crowd at this point even though that's an awful F4 for me because of how weak my team is.

I'm feeling pretty good about Portland at the moment, we're having a nice chat. I'm getting a little to the point of being over-aligned, but I'm trying really hard not to promise more than I can give people. I feel like my level of influence is underestimated, but I need to keep it that way and the more I do the more I might become threatening.

Seattle

I owe you an apology. I made a mess of this game because I was confused on how I should act and I made the worst action that were possible. I was so wrapped up in my own arrogance in creating a story that I made a mess of the system. You've been nothing but kind to me, and I betrayed your expectations. i'm really sorry.

So Seattle just sent me this. He probably is still doomed if he loses this IC, but I appreciate it. I also totally have his Jury vote so that's good.

I still want him to explain exactly what he's been doing though because he hasn't been telling me.

So it looks like it's probably going to be Seattle who goes here. Everyone wasn't thrilled when he won Immunity and now that he didn't win we have a much easier TC ahead of us, so I'm just going to go along with that. Seattle apparently sent a similar sketchy apology to Real Salt Lake and maybe others, so it's time to lose him. I liked him premerge, but he is a social and strategic trainwreck and he isn't going to drag down my game.

Hi guys, so let's talk about my game situation right now. Exciting stuff.

I'm basically working with the East people plus Houston at this point, but I also have good relationships with RSL and Portland as well, even SKC I see as being someone I could work with. He felt close enough to me to tell me about his idol.

Right now I was just talking to NY, probably my closest ally but also my biggest threat, about what the plan was and he seems to think that DC-Columbus-SKC have a group. I don't know if this is the case or not, but if he thinks it is then that is definitely worrying.

We're voting out Seattle here for sure because Seattle is just going to be used as a vote by people if he survives past this point and he isn't a vote that I control, he's a massive unpredictable element. But I don't know what the plan is at 9, NY seems itching to blindside one of DC/Columbus using RSL/Montreal. RSL and Montreal are both people that I think I can probably get, even though they did both vote against me last round. Montreal said that that was a 1-off and won't happen again and RSL was super upfront about how he was voting with me and said he appreciated that I was the same way, but also he's said that he feels on the bottom and that I'm one of the people that he feels closest to. I don't know if that's true, but to a certain extent I have to hope that it is if I'm going to make it far.

So at some point, either at 9, 8, or 7 presumably, we're probably going to turn things around on Columbus/DC. I don't think that should be too hard, I don't know if they have an alliance or not but getting rid of one of them probably benefits me.

The boring, status quo move next round would be to eliminate Portland, and I honestly wouldn't have a problem with that, but I think NY might. People don't want to do nothing and then go home, they want to have their big moment which I get. We just have to be careful.

I'm super concerned about idols though, I only know where one is right now. I think they probably are going to kill New York before me, I hope so anyway, but it'd probably depend on the preferences of the person with the idol. I think letting New York be the one spearheading these campaigns and then turning on him just before the end is probably my best path right now. Right now I'm just pushing people to maintain status quo and being social, I'm really trying not to be super obviously threatening but it's hard! I want to scheme so much and sometimes I can tell that it bubbles up in conversations, that's probably my biggest flaw.

So yeah, that's where my head's at. I don't think I can go to the end with New York and win easily, though with a bad performance from New York I might be able to. Houston is also pretty eloquent, though I might end up having to risk it with him. I'm low on team strength and so I'm not in a position to be choosy. Montreal and RSL I would be thrilled to go to the end with, but I don't know if taking them both to F4 would lead to me getting cut at F3. That's planning way too far ahead anyway, I need to focus on the votes at hand and the idols that are lurking around.

So we're still split from last round. There's a wagon on DC from basically the same people who voted for Columbus, except maybe SKC is on board too which would make five? I dunno, New York kind of wants to flip but I think we're in a much stronger spot with DC and Columbus around to be the counterwagons even if they are super close. Getting rid of them won't even be hard, but they really insolate us in. To vote DC out would be to expose us.

And I feel like DC going is probably more exciting than Seattle going and probably what you guys are rooting for, but I don't think it's smart. I'm trying to win here.

So currently there are 4 votes for DC that I know of, Portland, Montreal, RSL, and Seattle himself. They just need one more which is scarily doable.

I just want Seattle gone! This alliance that I'm not in needs to be less obvious.

Actually they need two more. I need to make sure that New York and SKC don't flip together.
