![]() Tribe captains have selected two pairs of tribemates to sync up in the challenge. Dowdle Pairs: Cydney & Frosti, Clarence & T-Bird LaGrossa Pairs: Julia & Sierra, Penner & John Stritesky Pairs: Tasha & Kenny, Katie & Jaclyn Sit-Out Bench: Stephanie, Sundra, Courtney, Eddie Four members of each tribe compete, working together to fill a large bucket with water and plug the holes in it as well as they can while traversing a wide course back to the mat. The tribe with the most water remaining in their bucket at the end of the challenge wins. Each competitor submits a single stamina bid. There is no maximum for this bid. This challenge will last 24 hours. During the course of the challenge there will be five "sync" points wherein participating pairs must each make a post in their challenge thread, timestamped within 2 minutes of the target time. If only one member of the pair, or neither, makes such a post it is considered a miss. Each sync point missed by a pair incurs a 25 point penalty against their tribal total at the end of the challenge. The tribe which reaches the end of the course with the most bid stamina remaining wins the challenge. Immunity itself is the reward this time, as both losing tribes are headed to Tribal Council. Sync points occur at 4 hour intervals as follows (using US Eastern Time): 2AM, 6AM, 10AM, 2PM, 6PM Participating tribe members may discuss this challenge in their tribal forum but we ask that sit-outs not take part in any challenge discussion. |

![]() LaGrossa Tribe, you are headed to Tribal Council! At this time you will leave your gathering locations, and all communication will be confined to this thread. Votes are due by the posted deadline Tuesday at 10am eastern. You may not vote until Tribal Council officially begins. Tribal Council 5b ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LaGrossa Tribe, welcome to Tribal Council. In this game fire represents your life. When your fire is gone, so are you! At this time, all communication must take place in this Tribal Council thread. You may skip only one of the questions that you should answer. Please answer the remainder. You are not limited to talking only about the questions posed to you. Feel free to ask other players questions or comment openly to other players. Consequences may apply to players who do not answer the official tribal council questions. To activate the "nuclear option" and be given the opportunity to have a whisper session with either 1 or 2 other players during tribal council, please notify a mod in your Official Submission thread (it also helps to skype or contact us through other means). The cost will be the total of all successful chat bids for that episode - you will not be informed of the cost before it is processed. So if you are certain you would like to exercise this option, you will pay the cost no matter what. If you are unable to pay for this option, you will be notified that it is not available to you. There is not a limit on the number of whisper sessions available. When one is used, it will be announced, but players inside the session will not be revealed. Good luck to all of you! Tonight, one of you will become the sixth person voted out of Survivor: One World. [John] - Do you think anyone will exercise the "nuclear option" at tonight's Tribal Council? [Julia] - How will this vote impact the rest of the game? [Penner] - Is the possibility of Hidden Immunity Idol play influencing your decision tonight? [Sierra] - How much of an impact are chat bids having on the tribe dynamic? [Sundra] - Does your position as Tribe Captain make you feel vulnerable? [Everyone] - How much are you thinking ahead to the rest of the game? [Everyone] - Did you arrive at Tribal Council knowing who you will vote for, or is your vote still up in the air? [Everyone] - How important is tribal unity tonight? [Everyone] - If you could compare tribemates to weather phenomena, what would they all be? [Everyone] - If this is your last chance to plead your case, what one thing do you want your tribe mates to remember before they enter the voting booth? Edited by Jeff, May 1 2017, 09:52:41 PM.

![]() Welcome to the pit! In this challenge castaways will brawl for control of the ball, which they will pass to the shooters standing on a raised platform. The first tribe to sink a basket will win immunity and reward. Today's reward is the opportunity to pillage the opposing tribe camp and steal a single reward item! Captains have selected two players to shoot for their tribe and ranked the remaining five for head-to-head matches in the pit. Dowdle Shooters: Eddie & T-Bird LaGrossa Shooters: Jaclyn & Katie Brawler Match 1: Julia vs Cydney Brawler Match 2: Penner vs Stephanie Brawler Match 3: Clarence vs Kenny Brawler Match 4: Tasha vs John Brawler Match 5: Frosti vs Sierra Brawlers will face off in a single opposed stamina bid, victory for the match being awarded to the higher of the two bids. The tribe which wins the majority of brawl matches will gain control of the ball for their shooters. One shooter will then make a bid, aiming for an elusive but unknown "score zone" which exists between the highest losing brawler bid and the lowest winning brawler bid. In the event of a miss the opposing tribe shooters gain control of the ball. Each tribe's shooters alternate taking shots, and if none of the four shooters sink the ball the challenge will be decided by a showdown between the two tribe captains. Shooters will be able to confer with each other in their own challenge thread and decide who will shoot first, while brawlers will be confined to match threads where they can try to negotiate, psych out or otherwise engage with the opposition. This challenge will last 24 hours. We ask that each shooter submit a conditional bid as well as deciding within the designated challenge thread who will shoot first for the tribe. Please do not discuss this challenge in your tribal forums. All challenge discussion must be confined to your challenge threads.

It's a hot, heavy, humid day for Task Day... or is it Task Day at all? Look out there! It's Lucy, on a jetski! She's got instructions for everyone to assemble once again, because you guessed it, we're switching things up. Time to drop your buffs! ![]() This time what's old is new again! The original captains will be heading up their old tribes, but they'll be drafting new integrated tribes to battle it out down the home stretch. CLARENCE is once again the captain of the Dowdle Tribe! KATIE is reinstated captain of the LaGrossa Tribe! At this time the Stritesky Tribe is no more! Bon voyage Stritesky! Both captains must submit a ranked list of all twelve remaining players, along with a single stamina bid by the swap deadline. New tribes will be drafted from these lists with pick order determined by this stamina bid. The only limitation to this draft is that each captain will be limited to picking a maximum of two members from their current tribe. But wait! (I hear you cry.) Don't we get some food or something, we're all starving here! Well why don't you go catch Mark the Chicken??? Oh but yes, you do have one more choice to make my lovelies! One more time it's a fraught decision. Do you eat, or pray? Each player, including the new captains, has a choice, which you will please post in your official submission thread as soon as possible. You may hunt for the Hidden Immunity Idol or attend the swap feast we're throwing in the Mango Grove to celebrate Mark the Chicken's incredible fertility. If you are hunting for the idol clue please include a stamina bid with your submission choice. Feasters will be added to the feast thread once they have submitted! The feast will last for 12 hours, until Tuesday at 10 PM Eastern time. There will follow an additional 12 hour tribal mixer where you will be confined to your beaches to meet and greet with your new tribe and work out your Task Day assignments. These beaches will remain private, as the "One World" dynamic has already ridden off into the sunset. |

TC 6 questions Clarence - You're back to being a captain again. Has it been and advantage or disadvantage for you? Eddie - Has the Hidden Immunity Idol come up in your discussions? Is the possibility that idols could be in the game influencing the way you approach the vote? Frosti - If they don't exercise the option, do you think the person voted out will regret not going "nuclear" at this TC? Julia - Are previous tribal affiliations defining this vote, or has the New New Dowdle tribe already changed things up? Penner - How important is getting what you want in the chat bid process? Do you think the people winning their bids are at an advantage in Tribal Council? T-Bird - Is it too early to be thinking ahead to an eventual merge when considering this vote? Tasha - Do you see a top and a bottom on this tribe, or any kind of clear majority? |

![]() A narrow series of bamboo walkways connect four boats, two for each tribe. The tribes race to steal items from the opposing tribe's boats. In a specified "attack zone" in the center of the course, contestants are permitted to physically engage their opponents and push them off the course. Four members of each tribe are assigned the role of "attackers" and two take the role of "defenders." The tribe with an extra player must sit someone out. Dowdle Attackers: Eddie, Clarence, Frosti, T-Bird Dowdle Defenders: Julia, Penner LaGrossa Attackers: Sierra, Stephanie, Kenny, Katie LaGrossa Defenders: Jaclyn, Cydney Sit Out Bench: John Attackers may discuss this challenge in the tribal forum. Defenders are asked to please keep their challenge discussion limited to their dedicated challenge thread. Each tribe gets two attempts to steal from their opponents (that is, two bids). For each attempt attackers select an item from the list to steal, at a fixed stamina cost. Attackers may work together to split the cost of an item, but if more than two attackers attempt to steal the same item in the same round they all fail. Attackers have been divided into two pairs for private communication threads, but splitting items to steal can be done among any of the four attackers, not just between chat pairs. For each attempt, defenders may select one opposing attacker to bowl overboard at a fixed cost of 25 stamina, preventing the capture of an item. If either attacker splitting the cost of an item is defensed the item is lost. Attackers are charged the stamina cost of the item they attempt to steal whether they capture it successfully or not. Communication among attackers is key. Any attacker who attempts to steal an item already claimed in the first round will bring back nothing at all for the second round. At the end of two rounds the tribe which has successfully stolen the higher stamina value of items wins immunity and a Tarp reward. Both tribes have identical lists of items to steal/defend: Item 1 - 208 stamina, must be split between two attackers Item 2 - 110 stamina Item 3 - 84 stamina Item 4 - 48 stamina Item 5 - 36 stamina Item 6 - 26 stamina Item 7 - 24 stamina Item 8 - 18 stamina Item 9 - 10 stamina Ex: Yul, Becky, Sundra and Ozzy are attacking for the Aitu Tribe against defenders Candace and Jonathon of the Raro Tribe. On the first attempt Yul and Ozzy split Item 1, Sundra takes Item 3 and Becky takes Item 6. Candice blocks Ozzy and Jonathon blocks Becky. On the second attempt Yul and Sundra split Item 2, Ozzy takes Item 4 and Becky takes Item 7. Candice blocks Ozzy again, but Jonathon doesn't block at all to conserve his own stamina. Through the two rounds the Aitu Tribe has successfully captured Items 2, 3 and 7. The outcome will depend on whether Raro has stolen a greater value of items or not. All bids should be entered as single submission, as shown here - Attacker Bid: Round 1, Item 7; Round 2, Item 1 Defender Bid: Round 1, Defense Ozzy; Round 2, Defense Yul In the event of a tie, tribe captains will face off in a single opposed stamina bid. Captains, please submit these conditional bids along with your challenge submission. |
