People get voted out all the time for being inactive or not having enough time, like John was about to! Neds didn't have anyone go who never had a chance during the last 24 TC hours to speak to the other people about final day scrambling. Neither did Nexus. I don't think you can relate the situations here. This timezone in particular was noted for being harsh in Medevac the Firsto. I mean, you can't 100% fix it but making sure there's a full sun's rotation for everyone's timezones to have some point where they sync seems to be the reason most games in Mish Mash have 24 hour submission deadlines minimum. That's fair, it's pretty much trying to find a balance between accelerating a portion of the game that doesn't mean anything around 85% of the time in order to keep people from complaining about being bored , and making sure no one is screwed over during those 15% of times. |

i mean if every phase was 24 hours this game would take around 90 days. Still not the longest anon ever but very odious and I personally would have had to skip it. |

If I write "Penner probably would have been set off by TC anyways because John warned him" 50 times on the wall maybe I'll forget this is technically my fault @#$%^&**((() |

Neal's timezone issues in the past are also part of why we didn't cast them in the first place ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

personally as a different timezone huge nerd, I found little issue with the deadlines because for me they're at midnight and midday, which allows me plenty of time, especially if I stay up till after midnight. England is what...ten hours behind me? so 2am and 2pm? That seems not too odious at all. edit: this marks the first and second times I have ever used the word odious in my whole life good god. I've used the word odious to describe Russell before! 3am to 3pm. Neal submitted at 3am her time, the conversation people had was 4 hours after that, so 7am. Does that seem a little more odious? :p I should have played this one, I clearly have the ability to be up 24 hours. <_< |

To be fair, the meta of swaps happening every two fucking rounds makes ties a bad move vs. coasting on the bottom and flipping on a swap. |

I mean, I've pointed out multiple times how timezones at F7 had an absolutely massive impact on the game (well, that and me not being a college student like grumpy) |

Honestly it probably makes sense to just not cast non-NA/SA people for games like this because timezones do matter a lot, and the alternative is "make the game take forever." |
