I haven't had any complaints about how any swaps have happened from my prospective. (But I'm also yet to actually be screwed over by one of them) |

I just realized this is my fifth out of five games where I go straight after a tribe swap. Well if you ever need to summarize my survivor game in one sentence, that one does it. |

No stealing my tradition of always surviving the first tribe! Even though I have to include fake starting tribes for some of the games. |

I don't know. Some variety is nice. Having a one tribe game in which people communicated so it wasn't completely like meeting strangers in MLS was different and fun, and somehow despite all efforts we failed miserably to pagong. Is it a good or bad thing that players generally know how many swaps to expect? It gives veterans an advantage, they know on the first big tribe worrying past the second vote is pointless. |

The problem isn't this game specifically, but in general we consistently bias towards swap-heavy games. Since I've started playing, MLS has been the only 0 swap game, and Medevac 1.0 has been the only 1-swap game. Every other game has been 2+ swaps. I think it's a bad thing because it leads to staleness of meta, but it's also a hard thing to avoid because mods don't really talk to each other during the design phase of each game. The best any of us can do is personally try to make a variety of games/add our own, unique spin to shit. Like, as a mod, I probably shouldn't be trying to do ~something wacky~ every game. I should throw in a couple of "this is a relatively basic, well-designed game with 1 swap and limited twists" for variety's sake. And you act like I haven't modded 2 of the past 4 games and am not actively working on some (even if they are stalled due to IRL business that will hopefully be going away soon). "We are never going to let people use players to pattern how they view in-game players because IDing is bad and therefore patterns shouldn't exist." I should be allowed to say in a confessional "wow, this player feels a lot like X from this past game I played, so I'm going to respond accordingly," because not allowing that is the equivalent of saying "you aren't allowed to use past experiences to get better." |

I feel like these threads where they dump conversations is against the spirit of this setup. |

Because faking shit is a thing that has never happened. I feel like people need to start forging conversations more. |
