So now we've managed to get some new members - even some more noticeable ones, like Dex or SGG. But now, besides just getting more members, we need to find ways to keep our members.


I don't have too much to say here, but I was thinking we could brainstorm new ways to attract attention to this place.

Main skin is done, let's get working on a new one!

Okay, firstly, please don't be mad at me for this.

I honestly think we can't keep our current system. When I say system, I mean having access to the COW.. Demonlemon, you have at least 700 drawing uploaded onto you photobucket. I would say that's plenty. Do you really need one more from every member? Sure this is The Cult Of The Lemon, but it's not like on mfgg we need to draw a picture of mario to be accepted into the forums.

I guess this is a brainstorming sesion then. How do you think we should have people access the COW? I'm mainly looking for the opinion of the mods here, but anyone, feel free to contribute.

About our amount of members. It's significantly low.

The most recent person to join was almost a month ago, which brings our total of people to 33, with only about 10-15 active members.


Why I'm bringing this up is because we really need to attract some attention. I would suggest making dupes to make the site seem more popular, but when people join and find out that they're dupes, they'll probably leave.

So, some ideas:
Lets get a real nice looking skin.
Advertise this place a lot. I'm guilty of not having a link for this place on mfgg, so I'll put one up soon.
A banner would help
Lets get some forum events rolling. We could start some sprite competitions, because even if no one joins immediately, they will eventually. Yes, the comps will be boring to start.
Finally, lets get some more activity from the members that do some on here regularly. I, even though I'm on the forums a lot, are not helping the cause. You may just come on, see if anything new has happened, and move on. Lets see some new threads from you guys!

Take the initiative to make a new thread, give an idea for a game, suggest something on a sprite, give some advice in the help forum or whatever else.

I think I found a site to have TCOTL Main site v1.0 on.
I'll be a google pages site, but it will work, at least for now.
We can have multiple icons, updates, etc.
