Right then. I figure it's about time I start a thread for my current project, Umber Throne! The story follows the Paladin unit, Sir Abelard who has been sent by his liege, King Atlas, to the realm of Lord Faustus who is thought to have perished many years ago. Abe is accompanied by Atlas' Magister unit, Magnus, and three young knights. Their goal: To find and destroy the cursed artefact thought to be the cause of Faustus' downfall...The Umber Throne.. Sir Abelard Spoiler: click to toggle Magister Magnus Spoiler: click to toggle King Atlas Spoiler: click to toggle So, progress up to this point: *Basic movement --Running --Jumping --Dashing *Basic combat --Ground Combo --Aerial Combo --Upward Attack --Aerial Upward --Crouch Combo --Dash Strike --Aerial Downward http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOSb2_OmP4Y The World of Umber Throne This universe is an interesting place. All things exist within a vast void known as the Empyrean Expanse. Within this space, an immense number of Realms float upon the Aether Streams which connect all things. Within the Realms lie the Kingdoms; One on each Realm. Each is exactly the size it needs to be; if more subjects come into being, the land and city grows to accommodate, and vice versa. The essence of the Kingdoms themselves are intertwined with that of their Kings. If the King grows ill, his Kingdom becomes dilapidated and ruined. If he thrives, so does the Kingdom. Whenever a Kingdom comes into being, a King does as well. Likewise, with the King comes the subjects and forces. A King's two main guardians are his Paladin unit and his Magister unit. It is from these that his Knights and Mages come into being. The strength of all of the units is determined by the strength of the King. It MAY be a bit confusing. I dunno. Working on the double jump effect:![]() ![]() (Crappy wings!) Note that you must first find the item that enables double jumping in the actual game. Edited by McMutton, Jun 12 2011, 11:04 PM.
