well for the x = object.x, it should work if you put it in the end step event... as for the sprite changing, i have no idea |

Well changing the event to the end step fixed the following issue (a bit, it still does it randomly) I wonder if the problems are connected though |

what exactly is changing about the sprite? i cant really tell from the video also, are either of the objects solid? that might be causing some collision problems |

hm, not totally sure if it will help, but one thing you might try is to set the object to always appear at an integer position (sometimes objects can move to half-pixel spaces which cause the sprites to distort) you can do this by setting in the end step event (after all the other commands) to set x to round(x) and set y to round(y) |
