You see, I don't particularly like magic, but I do like stealth and combat. But I also like my characters to be good with speechcraft and mercantile.

Cool. I always had problems multitasking with hybrids, as I'd focus on one part of them and then realize that they were too weak in other respects...

Level 21 Wizard Posts: 1,143 Group: Member Member #235 Joined: February 5, 2008	I love magic because once you get to high enough levels you get awesome spells like Finger of Death, Wail of the Banshee, Meteor Storm, Time Stop...wait, I was thinking of a good rpg. In TES (a suitably fine action/rpg) I tend towards chaos. The magic fails in comparison to D&D; the stealth fails in comparison to Thief; the combat fails in comparison to...well I haven't actually found any game that does melee combat well. Now, I'm not saying TES is bad, not at all. I'm saying it's average, and so, to celebrate in its mediocrity, I usually play as a jack-of-all-trades, or, since the leveling system is broken (especially in Morrowind), a master-of-all-trades. Although, with mods included, I've actually gotten quite a bit of pleasure out of the stealth in Oblivion.
