When we move I want to do some small competitions every month. They don't have to always be serious, but I think having something like this ,on a regular monthly basis, would be pretty cool. So, what kind of competitions would you peeps be interested in? Edited by redsrock, Oct 5 2008, 09:08 PM.

I used to love a game that was played in Oblivion forums on GameSpot where the person in charge posted pictures of in game locations/people/things and people would have to guess at what the picture was of. Different one each day I think, or every couple hours, as long as the last one was solved, I don't remember exactly. It's probably pretty hard to manage though. I was pretty good at that. |

Heya Ace! Great to see you. I still have not started your cave in the town mod; but I've thought of great cameoflauged doors for both ends so people will really have to search or just stumble on them to find your cave. I started messing around with the Inn and it is a huge job; five floors all together. It's nearly done except for 4 of the nicer rooms and 5 of the econorooms in the attic. |

I've thought of a great little contest we could do right now, to amuse ourselves ... the exact count of how many times Christo says "Woot!" in all the forums. Winner gets a custom siggy from me. How's that for good wholesome entertainment? And I bet Christo doesn't even know the answer. *Hint - It's not his post count because he sometimes says it in conversation.

omg, he's only posted 10 times since the deletion??? Awe, then it's not such a good idea. I am still thinking like our post count is in the 1000's, isn't it? Now I have to look into this. I really didn't before I said it; just thought his "woot!" was cute. ................ wow, his post count says 2,959; so we have all of our old posts there .. and it's still adding to it even though those boards are gone? contribute? what do you know. you 'moderators' as you call them have done nothing to contribute to this site in months. you have let this site slowly rot away. the best thing ive seen here in months has been the song disection which doesnt even get attention. its pretty sad what you guys have done... which would be nothing. poor hendrix... if he could see this site now, a site he created with hopes of becoming big and prosperous, he would [censored] himself. all you guys do is sit around debating and arguing about the same [censored]. the majority of opinions are harshly shot down with arrogant words. know it alls. you post something and its quickly rejected and corrected in ways that that make you feel stupid. half the time i feel like an idiot for even posting in the first place. its like everything is competition here. a competition on who knows more and whos right. if you even have been recruiting, which i doubt, it would blow me away if that person lingered more than a few days. im sure they would be boggled at some of the [censored] some of you say. oh but its all in good spirit! oh no... nothing is meant to be hurtful. right... all i need to do is put a at the end of my post and all is forgiven.thats what it seems like to me, just so you know.

I'm a moderator, therefore it is not my job to do anything to give life to this board, it is to make sure you follow the rules. If you have a grievance, take it up with the admins, and do it properly. This community isn't going to have life in the other sections of the forums when there is no news or new games to discuss. Oblivion is what, 3 or 4 years old now. There isn't much left to discuss. You're whole "everything is competition here" is not true. Sure in the music thread or gaming thread someone will say "I don't like what you play/listen to". It happens, get over it. If you think this place is rotting away, then why do you stick around? And also, I'd like to see you run a successful forum. You'll find it isn't easy. And recruiting isn't easy as well. If you try to recruit even when a forum is a paradise it can be hard to keep members. Finally, you obviously don't understand why things are "forgiven" with a after it. Why are we gonna yell at someone who is joking around?

Ace what is with you lately? And besides, your post is ignorant. We Moderators aren't doing anything? I guess I didn't let the banned members back, did I? I guess I haven't recruited more people than anyone else. I guess Weezy isn't taking time out of his very hectic schedule at college to get on every single day. I guess Lettuce isn't working in the background making something for YOU members. No, none of that is going on. Because obviously you know everything, even though you're not a Moderator. Ace, we're the most active TES site out there (with the exception of BGSF, obviously). Without much TES new we've managed to stay very active. Not a lot of discussion about TES, I'll give you that. But don't you think there's a reason people stay here? It's because we all get along, and obviously they don't have major problems with the administration. If they did then they would've likely left already. So if you have all these problems, maybe it's best you should stay away? I'm fine with you, but you've been acting weird all lately.
