I really wouldn't go as far as to call it a consequence, as long as the person is sticking close to lore that's already been established.
Might just be me, but I find that most people either disregard or twist the lore to something they like, but feel contrary to the rest of the game/lore, at least that's how it feels to me usual, and is why I hate to play other peoples mods usually. I've got nothing against people making their own mods and such, I'm just picky :P

Actually, many ninjas were really samurai. They were given the name "Hitokiri" which is their word for assassin....

I agree with you Chimer... I try to stick to lore-accurate mods.
