Picture: (attached) Ingredient Yielded: Virgin Seed Alchemist's Notes: There is much disagreement about how this plant came by its name. Some think the pretty purple color is like the deep blush of a shy virgin. Others say that it is because the first two characteristics of its seeds are to drain both willpower and luck... two things some might consider important to the young and innocent... Perhaps the most prosaic suggestion is that it arose from the fact that the alchemist must gently open the centre of the flower and insert fine tweezers to extract the useful seeds. But whatever the background, a skilled alchemist will value the seeds as an ingredient in potions of fire and lightning shield. Lovely notes and attributes Cathym. I think I like the second explanation the best. |
