It is particularly sought after by explorers for its helpful properties including detect enchantments, detect keys and night eye. It is quite ironic then that care must be taken using it in potions due to its additional property of causing blindness. Botanist Posts: 398 Group: Member Member #473 Joined: November 18, 2008	Well Gilboron, you know me, I like oddities... as in unusual names like my char in your RP, unusual ingredient properties etc. With these flora I just go with what mood takes me. I write the description (botanists notes) first, just using my imagination as to whatever Ibis' picture inspires me with. From that the properties evolve... I like most flora to have at least one negative property, and in this case it just struck me that the irony of detection, night eye and then blind was quite amusing. But then, I'm easily amused so, meh, whatever...

You know that mushrooms can be very intense and must be handled carefully. And who is to say that too much NightEye wouldn't tip over the border and Blind someone using the source ingredients unwisely. I like it alot Cathym; paradox is good. Especially in the 'shroom world'.
