Morrowind Alchemy; What ingredient properties do you like?

As you may know, for the TESFU town mod, Ibis has created lots of really amazing new flora. And I've volunteered to be the botanist and describe the flora, the ingredients each one yields and their properties. I'm trying to include a bit of everything, but I thought it would be good to know what people think are the best properties. I'll try and include the most popular ones a bit more often.

So... let me know.

I reckon Fortify speed in a few of them.
But with teh speed comes a cost of drain something.

i really like invisibility. i think alot of people like that effect haha. restore health, magicka, and fatigue are also really helpfull effects. also, i just want to say all your Flora are wonderful and your doing a great work!

Thanks aceball - I appreciate your praise. And thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I agree that invisibility is one of my favourites and also restore magicka. There's lots of easy to find ingredients that restore health, but I still put that in occasionally because its so handy.

I prefer Chamelion over Invisibility, and high Jump with Freefall over Levitation. But I like all of those.

Other favorites are Swift Swim and Water Breathing if you have underwater caverns or such to investigate. I don't use Water Walking very much.

I dislike Shield effect of any sort on apparel/weapons because it makes that magika force field around you which is distracting to look through. But I don't know if you get that aura around you from drinking a potion, do you? I know with modding armor it's better to use Resist Fire than Fire Shield.

All the Restore and Fortify potions are good. I think Resist Diseases are important too. I was wondering if it is possible to make new diseases in Morrowind. Zajadu at GHF chatroom said the other day "we should bring The Plague to Morowind." That got me to wondering if we could create any diseases that our healers would have to cure from potions that our Alchemists would concoct from our unique ingredients. I don't know if this is possible though.

Slinkie, this whole top sub-forum is dedicated to the town mod. If you'd like to enter your character description at any time in the NPC thread here .. we will include your NPC in town, along with everybody else.

Cathym, were there more flora threads that aren't here now? I seem to remember Ibisium and possibly some others? Maybe I'm just tired; or perhaps you are revising your Notes.

Ibis - they should all be there. I just looked now, and in the Florists of TESFU subforum it says there are 22 topics! So excluding this general topic and the introductory topic, that should be 20 items of flora complete. On my display - only the first 15 are on page 1, so you have to select page 2 to see the rest.

yes Ibis, chamelion is alot better than invisibility i think when it comes to magic. but in a potion, how high are you really going to get that chamelion effect? 15%? 25%? i like em both though, whatever conceals me enough to steal that really expensive item, or makes me hollow so i can sneak by that really powerful enemy.
