Then again, I don't have the chart of notes you were playing and I'm not good at desiphering notes by just hearing them, so you may have been in key, you were just playing one of the clashing notes of the key like a four or a six.

My dad never wanted me to get a guitar because he thinks it's a waste of money. So I've been reeeally working hard on The Star Spangled Banner. I can play the first 25 notes easily now, and it actually sounds good. Yes, Reds did something that sounds good!!! Anyways... my dad heard me playing earlier and he was like "You can play that?" and I'm like "Just that part, but yeah." And then he walks off. So fifteen minutes ago he comes running in the room with the phone, and my uncle is on the line. My dad tells me to play it over the phone for my uncle. I could see the happiness and pride on his eyes. It was so awesome. I really did feel like crying. runs off crying
