Daaaaaaaamn. I definitely didn't see this happening. At least not right now. Two novels have been announced, and they are being written by the author that has written "The Jedi Order", or something like that. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...

A floating city? c'mon, tell me that hasn't been done before. Looking forward to 'em though, just hope he uses lore-correct names

Dammit, Vanir...... I had an awesome daydream of me and Anne Hathaway on a private island. And then in the daydream you came in and murdered her, then asking for my hand in marriage.

I'm actually very disappointed. An author whose wrote Star Wars novels? And someone who likely has little experience with TES? A floating city of the dead?

And, to top it all off... "It is up to an unlikely duo – a seventeen-year-old girl named Annaig and the Emperor's young son, Prince Attrebus – to rescue the kingdom from doom."

Give me a mother[censored]ing break... I don't have very high hopes as of now.

Yep. TES is eventually going to turn into Star Wars, where little annoying sonsa[censored]es run around thinking they know everything just because they can spell Daedra correctly. And there will be tons of crappy books about TES, hardly any (if any at all) worth reading. Way to milk it, Beth. And they know they can keep milking it because TES is one fatass of a cow.

The only good books that have to do with TES are in the games themselves, A Dance in Fire and The Argonian Account.

I'm not going to judge by appearances. It does sound kind of cheesy, but I'm the dedicated fan that follows the series WHEREVER it goes. If this is how Bethesda wants TES to be seen, so be it! After all, the Empire is Law, and the Law is Sacred.

The guy is a good writer. Worst case scenario is that it is as cliched and lorebreaking as Oblivion.

What are you talking about? TES already has those people.........and plenty of them.......and I don't see how that has to do with quality anyway

And the Star Wars novels aren't bad..

it's not that, it's the whole "young person rrescuing the kingdom from doom" cliche that makes reds (and I as well) want to barf his brains out. This novel will suck. And if it doesn't, it can't be worse than my expectations!

In the reflection of your glasses lies the luminescent screen of the television
projecting unto your synapses the distorted vision from behind the eyes of
corporate contrivances pleading between their cold metal fingers for control
which in your advertisement-enslavement you repay tenfold whilst the world
spirals into oblivion around your desensitized body and in this cacophonous
euphoria we all die and we all die alone.

1. We never said the man himself was a horrible writer.

2. We never said we knew exactly why the novel is called what it is being called.
