Make a save right before you exit the dungeon.

Dammit, Vanir...... I had an awesome daydream of me and Anne Hathaway on a private island. And then in the daydream you came in and murdered her, then asking for my hand in marriage.

what did they think; "we can't be bothered to make smart, difficult combat AI's so we'll just make everything have loads of health and damage.

I read somewhere that although the difficulty slider does change the health of the AI's you're fighting, it also makes the combat AI complexity increase as well. You'll notice that with the difficulty slider down to the bottom, a character you're combatting won't do knock-back, disarming or paralyzing power moves and will be compelled just to do normal attacks, whilst on top I've seen character's do lots of different combos and special attacks and I swear I've seen a marauder do a dodge roll on me once.

P.S Okay so maybe the last bit wasn't true. He just fell through floor in a cave once and was still attacking me, despite being half-submerged in rock ^o)

lol. yeah but they never get realy smart they never work in teams and even if they do the archers just shoot there teamates. and they never try to outmanouver you. i mean you can stand on the top of a rock and they wont jump or go round to the other side to get to you.

oh and thanks for the tip vanir, never thought of that. :)

They should simply have it so that people in the same factions don't attack each other. That would solve all the problems.

Well, picture the scene, you're outside in the cold, winter rain of Bruma with your old legion pal named Bob. You've never liked Bob much - he's never laughed at your khajitt jokes and you find him a bit too cynical for your liking - plus, he ate the last sweetroll this morning and you were positively starving. So, in addition to all of this, the biting cold has left you rather grumpy and cranky this icy dawn when you got out to hunt deer with Bob. Suddenly, a tasty little doe pops out and you shout "I've got 'im!", whilst nocking an arrow and aiming for just the right shot. You're about to take it when - all of sudden - you feel something thunk into your back painfully. You look down to see what has caused the agony, and sure enough, sticking out your kidney is Bob's arrow. Bob laughs. You kick that motherf*cker Bob's ass. Because what a tit Bob is.

Well, my parents bought me the Oblivion GOTY for Xbox 360 out of the blue, so I've been playing it, and I must say, despite all the mods and stuff for the PC, I'm loving the ability to lay in bed and play. I'm exploring much more and finding quests I didn't know about. It just feels right.

I can do that too.........with my PC.....and I have done it before :P

Of course, it helps that my desk is right by my bed.

Yea, see, my PC is in the cold, dark, wet dungeon of my basement.
My 360, on the other hand, is up in my comfy bedroom where I can play lying down rapt up in the comfyness of my warm blankets.

Hehe, it's not too bad unless you're waaayy north....

I'm going to Marquette for college (Northern Michigan University) which is right on Lake Superior. They are known for being cold, and the area is the second snowiest area in the country if I remember right, and it's like high 50's right now up there, or it was a couple weeks ago when I went for orientation. It dipped into the 20's at night.

No, it gets really hot and humid where I live, but we just blast the AC.
Screw the environment. :P
