I have to give a persuasion speech at college and my argument is that the 360 is a better console than the PS3. I have my own points, but I'd like to hear yours as well. Again, DO NOT make this a console war. In fact, if you don't agree with me that the 360 is better, do not post in this thread. Only post in this thread if you are contributing to my own points by giving your own. Remember to back up your opinions to why you think they are true. This is your ONLY unofficial warning. If you come in here and try to start a console war, you will be officially warned. And if you continue after being warned, you will be suspended for an entire day. I'm not joking, this goes for everyone, Administration included (looks at lettuce). I don't care if you're just joking, don't post in this thread unless you have something to say that is positive towards my speech. So far this is what I have: 1. Basic version is cheaper 2. (I think they're both good but in different ways.) My main thing is that I like the 360's game lineup more. It's not that is has more exclusives, it has better exclusives, in my opinion. Also, Xbox Live is more well developed and is obviously the best online system. You just have to ignore all the dicks and [censored]s. I also really like the Xbox controller. I think the only controller in the history of gaming that I like more than the Xbox is Gamecube. I can't think of anything more at the moment, but if I do, I'll post it.

Chief Global Moderator Posts: 4,704 Group: Global Moderator Member #194 Joined: January 12, 2008	PS3 is better for all the graphics whores out there, and it has a lower rate of broken consoles (although it isn't much lower if you wanna argue that point with the 360; they do have the yellow light of death I believe it's called). 360 has MUCH better online service, but you have to pay for it.

This isn't about proving the Xbox is better than the PS3; it's about helping Reds with his speech. So there's nothing "unfair" about it.

The only thing however that I would like for the PS3 to have from the Xbox is the fact they can watch 'sky' on it. And maybe the couple of games or so that are exclusive to Xbox like Halo, Fable and Gears. If you're looking for bad points of the PS3 you should draw attention to: � The price � Price of the games � The messaging system. Don't know how it is on Xbox, but on the PS3 it's damn annoying.
