Well H E double toothpicks. Apparently the MA for Immersive Creatures has it the SSE beta version (that is with creation club) as a requirement. Ah well, not going there so whatevs!

Moving forward I suspect most, if not all SSE mods that are being released and/or updated will require the latest version of SSE. Arthmoor has already updated USSEP to require the 1.5.3 beta and I’ve heard him say that he will be updating USSEP to keep up with the future changes to SSE resulting from the CC updates. Where USSEP goes most of the other authors will follow. Playing an older version of SSE isn’t really going to be an option moving forward if you want to add new mods or update existing mods.

I agree Turija. I just don't have the time to fuss with the snafu that comes with the CC right now. SLE is stable and working beautifully for me so I'm in no hurry. One day in the future I'll end up with it updating because I'll have to go on-line for one reason or another with Steam (which initiates downloads immediately until manually stopped). Then I'll deal with the mayhem.

Yeah, I’m sticking with SLE for the time being too. I don’t have the energy to deal with constant updates either. I may start playing SSE in another year or two. We’ See.

Immersive Weapons offers such a new variety and makes the game really refreshing. Instead of being stuck with a steel sword and hunting bow at lower levels, Cain has an Alik'r Scimitar and a Colovian Dark Composite Bow.

Yep, yep I was hoping SSE might catch up now that SKSE64, SKYUI and MCM are out for it, but . . . that CC is a killer. I'm back to SLE and really enjoying the mods I've been missing like Deadly Dragons, Immersive Weapons, Immersive Armors, Take Notes!, EaTC, and a slew of others that use the 3 "extender" files I listed above.

I've always thought the Colovian Bow was one of the best looking ones from that Immersive Weapons Kane!

I actually did have IW ported to SSE before dropping back to LE, and it did work well after a few steps.

My hopes are that SSE reaches the same modability levels of LE and that someone finds a way to mod out the CC.

Silly me is wondering why after completing about eight radiant quests for the Companions, I still haven't started Proving Honor.

Checked the MCM, and I forgot I set it for thirty days to pass before I will get it.

Having to redownload LotD mod. I have several NPCs that are duped, but weren't before LotD. Since there was an update I figured I'd do a complete redownload as instructed and meticulously follow the install instructions (a small novel). I may have a mod that LotD has incorporated installed at the same time that's mucking things up.

Have to say it was tons of fun coming across my first Archaeology location and not realizing that was even a part of the mod. Totally fit with the exploration Greyson is doing.

Yep. LotD is complex. In the extreme.... You downloaded 19.1.6 core and updated to 19.1.7? And cleaned the scripts specified?

I really love the whole thing. I started out with the Relic Hunter LAL start; now I've gone to the LAL guildmaster start so I get to do the fun little mini-dungeon.

Such a great addition to Skyrim. The devs need to take lessons.

Currently downloading the main file, to be followed by the update file, then the painstaking reading step by step, script cleanign, etc.

Rodggeir in the Dawnstar inn and everything in the guest room was duplicated, what's her name in the Hall of Dead in Riften was duplicated. Just weird stuff here and there.

Ugh. Yeah, that's strange. Only thing I've had duped lately was when I had JK's Skyrim in load order (always do) and somehow his Dragonbridge standalone got in there too. Yuck.

Sere I've been looking until even my real life dogs are tired. Where the frick-n-frack is the Dragonstone display? I've made a replica already, I even found where the Golden Claw went, but danged if I can find the Dragonstone display.

Oh. It's in the Library - as you head toward the office area (where the prep station display is), it's to the left just past the first major book display, above the second shelf area.

Let me get a screenie....

Didn't want to clog the comp thread, but I thought I'd report on carry over for LotD. I confirmed that I did NOT have the carry over from character to character selected. However, what I did notice was that even though displays were empty again for a new character, certain items like the dragonstone could be built at the replica station even though I hadn't done that quest yet. Not a big deal, but that's what got me confuzzled in the first place.

Strangely enough I also did the Golden Claw, but the replica option doesn't show on a new character before doing the quest, so whatever is going on is hit or miss. None of it is game breaking and I just don't need to replicate something I haven't collected yet.

Now, back to Avery. He's found that the urns he was sent after are unattainable as Borgoth is no where to be found in the ruins of Helgen; most likely being one of the burnt bodies. Ralof was grateful for his rescue and Avery is currently cleaning up bandits, a necromancer and a couple draugr between Pine Watch and Falkreath Hold. He'll be staying at Dead Man's Drink for the night before heading out to Whiterun to give the Jarl Gerdur's message!

I think that sort of thing is due to leftover scripts. Are you using NMM?
