Can anyone tell me an easy way to do that? I've got a couple of houses I really like, but the mod authors didn't use any music - and the silence is deafening....

Just set the music on the interior cell(s) in the CK and save it back out.

Interior cells

Adding custom music would be more complex, but just using existing is that simple.

Okay, thanks! That looks "do-able".... hmm. I don't think I knew there was a wiki for the CK.... thanks for that too!

Hmmm. I get to that screen (by right-clicking the cell and selecting Edit), and it's all greyed out. Including the Okay button. The Apply and Cancel buttons work. All the dropdowns work, but all the selections are greyed out....

I just opened a random mod and did the same - got the same issue. Then I clicked on another cell in the list on the left, and it went away. Switched back to the first cell - no problem. It looks like a bug in the CK code.

And then when I shut down the CK, it crashed.

Okay, I didn't think to try anything like that (because I'm not very good with CK....) I'll see if that works for me. If it crashes, it crashes - as long as I save before it happens!

[Yep. Worked like a charm. And no crash! Thanks a bunch!]

ghastley - the next time I loaded the characters where I added music (and removed some stupidities like bright red, blue and purple lights in places) it was back to no music, and the things I'd removed were back as well. I'm obviously doing something wrong.... I did save the .esp - should I have saved it as a different name or something?
