I hope this is the right section for this thread :)

My character in Oblivion is called Lothran the Nordic Dunmer. He earned that last part after events in Bruma and his decision to move to that town and spend the winters there. After helping Narina Carvain finding the long lost Madstone in Pale Pass he was given the title Honorary Guard of Bruma which is mostly just for show and basically just gives him the right to bear Bruma´s colours and patrol town when he so wishes. He also helps out guarding the North gate at nights when on patrol.

When spring comes around he moves down from Bruma and visits western Cyrodiil, starting with Chorrol. During summertime he wanders the forests, visits towns and possibly goes to Shivering Isles though that is a rarity.

In autumn he usually spends time in the Nibenay Basin and Blackwood before going to the Imperial City in November to prepare for his travel north.

I have set up Lothran´s own thread at chorrol where some of his adventures are described in detail and he also has his own wiki page with an overview of his life. Feel free to visit either if you wish :)

I'll get them read eventually - trying to catch up on stuff after being without 'net for 18 hours.

Lothran is certainly a very well developed character.

Since he crosses the metaphysical game bounderies, this is the right location for him.

However, if you decide you would prefer him fitting in a different section that's ok too.

My "character" (she hates that) is currently DiD, but also enduring and will ultimately cross game boundaries.....so I'm real confused anout where she really fits.

She used to be here....but its a bit of a side alley
Oh, I just don't know!

Thanks, Rick :)

Never quite saw him as a well developed character but I guess he is. Bound to happen perhaps when you stick to one character in a game over several years.

But he is not DiD. He has briefly visited the Aetherius plane a couple of times in his early days but I resurrected him asap via reloading! :P

My Ulda stayed as my only character for four years...loved her. She was DiD but upon death I re-started her back in good old Helgen, level one..248 times.

So she was kinda DiD...but Enduring also...cos inside YOU they never die, only the on screen build gets killed, and that can get re-made :)

One day...Ulda disappeared for good....but from her remnants....growing in the same place began to emerge another. Ulda never died...she just outgrew her version and kinda...evolved. Returning as a far more powerful personality.

Now Contessa Adella has reached and probably surpased her "ancestor's" strength of being, with an independant will that's at times hard to restrain.

Yes...I love long term well developed "characters"

But she won't let me have any others...women are very demanding... :lmao:

So is Lothran. He barely lets me play Fallout 3 unless it´s summertime and during the day :P

Lothran has spent a day at the Arcane University. At first he didn´t think he had anything to do but then lo and behold, three old spells deleted and one new created.
Two of those old spells had actually never been used, ever. They were just taking up room in the spellbook. The third one has been quite useful and would have stayed if Lothran hadn´t thought of upgrading it just a bit by adding 100 points of Willpower for 10 secs.

Lothran is now sitting in the captain´s chair onboard the Marie Elena, contemplating his new spell and the goblins in Plundered Mine who has kindly volunteered to test it ;)

Oh gods....there ya go activating my old memories of Oblivion....Ah plundered mine full of prototype Falmer hee hee.

Loveed with the goblins how you could steal the leaders staff from cracked wood or something and give it to the goblins in something tooth cave and start a goblin war. Should have had that between Falmer caves in Skyrim too....

Lothran is now in Aleswell on his way north. He has cleared out Fingerbowl Cave and visited Ancotar as usual.
There is a stunning view from that place and it´s always enjoyable to gaze over the Imperial City and the rest of Cyrodiil in all its greenness.

Come Friday it´s off to Bruma! :)

Lothran has now returned to his hometown of Bruma. It's been eight months but it's like he never left; everything is just as it ever was with the execption of his fireplace, but that has been lit now.

The road to Bruma offered some action this time. A Minotaur Lord and two bandits was on today's agenda and a fun break in the otherwise uneventful walk. The marauders down at Sercen and also the bandits inside the ruin offered some much needed exercise.

Lothran is now resting on a bench in the basement of his house. Next up he will unpack and organize all the things he brought with him from this year's excursions, fix what gear broke in the fights and pick out what weapons he will use on his first tour of the Jerall Mountains.

All is as it should be :)

I hope he bundled up!
He always wear a full set of fur during the winter season, except for the shield. Doesn´t need it since he can summon one if needed :)

-----------------------

Today Lothran went outside the city gates and wandered about the immediate area. Some bandits were killed by Capstone Cave and later the elf escorted Honmund when he went to collect more Clouded Funnel cap. He had 322 samples on him before collecting more today and when the season is over, I plan to have Lothran check the number again to see how many he collects on one season.

Will be interesting and a little nice with a long-term project like this :)

He doesn´t need it but yes, it´s a potential :)

Yesterday early in the morning Lothran decided to clear out Plundered Mine, first time for the season. He went in guns blazin' and didn't sneak at all. His trusty Spriggan (mod) did her job fine and what was left Lothran took care of himself with the usual combo of spells and the weapon of choice; Goldbrand.

He also carried a regular Fine Steel bow and Snowflake, an elven dagger enchanted with Frost Damage given to him by his friend Buffy the Bravilian Bowgirl (Acadian´s character). It has a minor damage effect (3pts for 1 sec) due to Buffy´s slight lack of proficiency in the school of Destruction.
Nevertheless, it has a huge number of uses before being depleted and combined with a spell that deal Weakness to Frost and Magicka while also paralyzing for 3 secs, it can be a very dangerous weapon :)

I have fond memories of Goldbrand. I liked the voiced sword better though - especially with all three "inmates".
