It just never ceases to be funny.

I was loitering around Arcane U today, and engaged a Mage Scholar in dialog, just because. She told me, "Hmm? Yes, yes, I'm sure you've got something exceedingly important to say, but the apprentices do not teach themselves now do they? Good Day."

The Mage Scholar then immediately began speaking to the person standing next to me, who was obviously more important than I, the Champion of Cyrodiil. The following exchange is what took place.

Mage Scholar: "I know you're busy, but I need a moment of you're time."

Adoring Fan: "So long!"

Mage Scholar: "You too."

*giggle* Yeah, it's not really better in Skyrim either!

But you know, aside from some scripted encounters, the NCP's of Skyrim don't interact like they do in Oblivion. They really need to bring that back, just, ...greatly expanded. I like occasionally taking a seat at Olav's Tap and Tack and listening to the "conversations." Tis good for a chuckle. :beermug:

It's corny, unrealistic and repetitive.

I love it ^_^

I love the Oblivion dialogue. Sometimes they say ridiculous things, which I find amusing. Sometimes they say insightful things, which I find amazing. Either way I am always interested in listening to what they have to say because you never know what you will hear and a lot if it is quite entertaining.

I always enjoyed that aspect of Oblivion as well. Skyrim could have done much better. Arthmoor's Cutting Room Floor has helped some, as have some other mods, but still wasn't handled as well as Ob.
