Example below: (Your name) (Char's name) (Race) (Sex) (Difficulty) General Rules - Starting point is from no later than the first tower (with Ulfric and company) - No forbidden mods (that give players an advantage). If you are new to this or added mods since the last time you played, send your mod list to me (Richard). - No reloading previous saves, even if character did not die (unless a glitch occurred). - No map based fast travel. Boats and carriages are allowed. - Once in Helgen Keep, DiD rules apply. - Update at least once every 3 days (if possible). - You may restart your game (restarting/starting point is from no later than the first tower [with Ulfric and company]) or create another character after you die. (Various forms are: Human, Zombie, Wraith, Ghost, Shade, Whisp [Every time you die, you must drop down at least one difficulty level, if possible.]) - No mods that add storage (this includes mod houses). - You must level up upon attaining a level, at the first safe opportunity (cannot do it in combat). You need not assign perks immediately. - The player highest score is the only one that counts for the round, meaning someone that has become a Wraith may win over a Human, if their score is high enough. - You cannot make skills legendary - Quest companions like Serana and Barbas have to be taken directly to their quest destination, with minimal side trips. - No exploits. See list below for the common exploits. Ask if you are unsure about one that you've found. In the event of disagreement, a majority of the players enrolled in the round will decide. - Be honorable. Don't cheat. We do this for fun. Forbidden Exploit list Spoiler: click to toggle Skill Points 7 random skills (9 in total) - Speech and lockpicking are automatically given - You can only use these skills: Light Armor; Two-Handed; Conjuration; Illusion; Sneak; Smithing and Restoration * 2 point grace on non-drawn skills -250 for each point that accrue's for the 1st 10 after that, then -500 accruing for each point their after. Oh ! This is not the same as the "random skills" round we did before You let people pick their own skills in this round? The way we did the last one was the host did a random draw of 8 skills and we didn't know what they would be....but once chosen we ALL had the same skill set to work with. Thats not whats going on here....and not what you posted on the comp chat page on 1st Nov ! Edited by Rick, Nov 4 2016, 09:29 PM.

No Sah, it is not confusing at all really.... When we talked of the idea about random skills for this round....it was supposed to be based on the random skills method we did in a previous game. And that was simply...two given skills of locks and speech then another 8 skills 'drawn from a hat' of equivalent method. Areial did it last time. We would get the 8 skills drawn near the competition start....we all had the same skills but what they would be was a thrilling surprise........it was meant to be literally luck of the draw. This is what is posted in the competition chat page on 1st Nov and I thought what we were getting. But Richard has now changed it to only 6 random skills....and they are not random because you get to choose them yourself. So my skills might be different from yours....which kinda takes the edgeyness out of it. Well ...I'd just go light armour,1h,block, alchemy,smithing, enchanting....in otherwords our standard legendary warrior build as always....shrug! But why was it changed? |

I think perhaps Richard forgot the way worked? My assumption was that it would be lock and speech and 8 drawn by the host as well... |

Errr well I had PM'd Richard earlier when I noticed couple oddities and mentioned the random pick that we all had to use verses just picking. I suggested putting it down to 6 skills if we are going to not have a community random pick that all must follow, cause 8 plus speech and lock picking are to much under those circumstances. I still think the random pick is a better idea... and while yes it does make it harder... lower the difficulty, that's why their is a multiplier. I do however understand that if we can garner more people...perhaps a simpler game the 1st time is a better idea. my 2 cents. |

I can work with 6........ but why not the 8 ? Was your hat not big enough? I think Areial used a freebie random number/event generator....but hats and folded tickets in a bag work good too. Of course it also goes without saying....if you just thought of them off the top of your head....well that would not actually be random (even if you think it is). I got no problem with a pubic...err... public load order. I didn't think of them at the top of my head, I used a random selection program (The Hat) and I entered all of the skills, shuffled it and made the program choose 6 random skills. |

LoL Neil... LP Bards? Used with Become a Bard? I've never used it by itself, but the BaB can effect speech , has a toggle for it... I usually use the Become a Bard, with that toggle off...cause, I like the music ...though it wastes time. I put mine in a spoiler tag...cause I can... Spoiler: click to toggle |
