Bram, I got one of his save's to work.. lost about 5 hr's,... Funnily enough most of the mod's counteract each other... Deadly Dragons, You are not Dragonborn, The Choice is yours... I had not planned on doing past handing over the Dragonstone and the Watchtower....will not do that now . Which will be like not even going through BFB at all...except getting the Golden Claw. The Merry Snowberry ( which as long as Caleb never enters the store has no effect on anything...except space), Death Alternative ( toggled off) and Raven Witch armor ( which is female only anyway) What's really odd is that The Merry Snowberry is only active on Kaylea and I had not played her since last Christmas.... So I may be able to start playing in a bit.. Working on some other issues and getting my Story characters back ... some of them anyway. |

I'm not going to start a zombie. Too little time left to get as far as I did with Tilda, and I need to get busy with "prepare for winter" stuff around here. Since we've already had our first snow, I ought to think about raking up the leaves, right? :) Good luck to everybody who's still in it. |

I was meaning to ask you about this a long time ago, but it got lost in the shuffle. I don't understand at all what you're talking about. All I ever installed was "Become a Bard" and this LPBard esp was the result. the only bard esp or esm that ever showed up. Also, I do have the MCM options for it, can toggle speech increases, the fit of the instrument, create a "wanderer's lute" use custom songbooks, and all of that stuff. Is it not supposed to work like that? |

That's how it works neil. You've got the right stuff. As with a lot of mods, the .esp isn't named like the mod itself (which I find extremely stupid....) LPbards.esp is the only Become a Bard .esp - it's all you need. The extras you have just expand on the basics. |

Sorry Neil... I have it as two different mods... LPBards, Become a Bard and then an add-on Become a Bard Anduniel song book. I forgot exactly what it was called .esp wise Sere ya know that's possible, I never thought of it that way... that NMM was acting up and not switching mods for the profiles... hmmm I only had that issue with Profile Organizer active... I'll look for that, see if it could be a cause. |

Areial (and anyone interested) I've just had an... experience. When I started to play in this competition, I created a new profile in NMM with many of my mods deactivated, right... So now that the competition is done for me, I wanted to start a new game and I went back to the old profile. Everything looked good and I attempted to play, but things were strange in the extreme. It took me forever to get the cart ride to Helgen completed, and once there everything that I did seemed to come out... altered. Look at this: Posted Image During char gen she isn't really bad looking, but in this light she's... scary, eh? Also, her "dirt" is set to none and dirt color is set to none, but it sure looks like dirt all over her to me. Anyway, that is not tolerable to me, so I went investigating. Looking in NMM on the plugins side everything seemed as usual, but when I looked on the "Mods" tab at individual mods perhaps 20 of them were NOT activated. The only conclusion I can draw is that when I deactivated the mods in the new profile, it deactivated them in the old profile as well. After going through the mods tab and activating all of the deactivated mods one-by-one, I started a new game and everything is once again great. The moral is that if you're using NMM, don't trust the mod list under the "Plugins" tab, go look under the "Mods" tab when changing profiles to see what's actually activated and deactivated... |

Yeah, neil - first time I tried just using the plugins tab, it did NOT work correctly, exactly as you just said. So now, the only thing I use that tab for is looking up a mod's number to figure out what something is from.... NMM has so many issues lately. I get along okay with 0.61.23 for vanilla - but for SSE I'm just manually setting up folders for profiles, and manually changing profiles with those folders, AND adding mods manually to SSE (which I of course then have to use the Load Order option in game to change for each girl - like disabling houses etc depending on character). Yeah, lots of fiddling, but I just don't trust NMM, and I haven't got around to reading up on Wrye Bash yet. For one thing it keeps saying to install to my Oblivion folder - but why would I do that, and what if I want it elsewhere? *sigh* |

Hm, I'm gonna have to check that out tonight. Been using NMM since I started modding, and it's been alright for me, while I switched back and forth between Competition profile and my beta testers. |

I have had a few issues, but generally when I get an update or new version.. Caleb lvl 10.... 10.28 hrs Dead... 5... bounties 5 x 200= 1000 24.. misc 24 x 100 = 2400 1... side 1 x 100= 100 zero penalties, total = 3,500 attacked as he came through the gate into Whiterun... 2 master Vampires, 2 thrall's and 2 Deathhounds. both Thrall's were 2h...and wiped out the guards quick. I still forget sometimes. I barely survived a vampire attack in Falkreath, before Tyranus died. Luckily there, it was only 1 Master, 1 Thrall and 2 hounds. The guards and I handled, but I had no potions left. |

Well, I mean because normally, at least ONE of the thralls would have a bow, which is a lot more survivable. |
